2010 will probably be the greatest Lego Year of all time! This is another good looking set that I would love to own. Nice colors, nice figs. Sometimes I wish they'd kill the SW stuff so I could collect the regular stuff on budget, it just keeps getting better!

i agree. have spent a bundle this year, it just keeps getting better. can't wait to see the rest of this years SW sets. loks like I will be spending another grand. wonder whats in store for next year. any pics yet of the imperial shuttle?

I like the new clone war packaging much better that the white one of last year. I do not watch the clone wars so it is hard to get me thrilled about any of it... but the blue packaging is much better.

Awesome figures, Clone Wars, epic scene, and it's a special edition! This can mean only one thing: expensiiiive!

It looks so sick can't wait to get my hands on Cad Bane and the Senate Commandos, the speeder is so well done to.

I love it, it looks great! (Also it could be a good way to get senate commandos and some captains as well) with the Shahan Alama figure you could make more pirates to go with the ones from the pirate tank which could be useful!

I thought it would be a small set! Looks like it's also a cheaper way to get the blue senate guard.

@r2d2qa - I thought the same. I guess Lego also wants to make as big a profit as possible. :-) Then again, I have not seen the Clone Wars featuring this model.

if its 40 in the USA then it will be around 55 in canada..... i hope im making a good choice by buying this instead of the turbo tank......

Well, the Turbo Tank contains a really cool new Aayla Secura minifigure too. I think I will buy the turbo tank other than Cad Bane's Speeder.

I always thought that Cad Bane's speeder was a fairly interesting design. Maybe I'll pick this one up, plus Senate Commandos don't show up in such "small" sets so often.

The mini-figs are great for any collection but the speeder just doesn't do it for me. Looks ok, but not interesting enough. Is it accurate or close to the one on the show?

By the way, are other people noticing the similarities between the new turbo tank and the 2008 Republic Attack Gunship? They are both at the same price point, contain a similar selection of minifigures in types and size, and are both from the Clone Wars series. Both are also about the same size and same number of pieces. It's uncanny how similar and yet how different these two sets are!!!!

Looks like an awsome collectors item because of that new minifigure and those two blue clones (You can also get them in the Venator set but it's really expensive).

Very nice set but i wish they would have put in Aurra Sing instead of Assassin Droid. Still a must buy!!!

@Magnus77 - I totally agree. Still, you can't say Lego has not made plenty new Star Wars minifigs lately. I'm still as satisfied as I think I am going to be....
