Grogall has sent us the instructions for the in-store build of the Superman model that was available today. If you didn't get to a store yourself, I suspect you'll be able to build it from parts in your collection, although the sticker will be a problem.

Please note that the printed part count (31) doesn't correspond with the parts list on the instructions (40 parts shown). This model will also be done in the US (CA?) on the 19th as a special Monthly Model Build event.

I'd also assume the 12+ is way off, given the small number of basic parts as well. Likely would be 6+.

I did this today with my boys - Mayhem in the store. I thought the sticker was particularly bad - actually marginally wider than the brick it was on.

@Nesquik It was the Stratford store. Not to be disparaging to them, actually. They clearly had instructions from head office that just weren't practical with the number of people wanting to be involved. People get very attached to their place in a queue and I saw some getting really angry that someone else "who was here after them" had already had a go. I sorted out my boys pieces in entirety so that they didn't need to be looking for pieces, and then someone started helping themselves. Lots of pushing.

But then when I went back at the end of the day (see forum, had a special Father's Day model on display) they told me that their supply had lasted until half an hour before the store closed, so plenty for anyone who got there early.

@Trandoshan, if you think this Superman looks a bit porky, you should see the common comics renditions of him in the 60s - 70s....46" waist at least! :-)

@Trandoshan, yes, that's the George Reeves Superman, not the Chris Reeve Superman! ;)
