Is this a picture of a Creator Vespa scooter?
Posted by Huw,Hungarian website Kocka.hu appears to have revealed a forthcoming and hitherto unknown model of what looks like a Vespa scooter.
The model is shown in one of the alternative images for 40518 High-Speed Train, which also depicts other known Creator sets, so I think it's safe to assume that the Vespa will be released as a Creator set, too.
You can view the full image after the break.

It’s cute!
Looks like a GWP
The train looks quite small next to all the other Creator vehicles.
I like Vespa. Roman Holiday is one of my all-time favorite movies, so this is a must-buy.
There were rumors of a Creator Expert Vespa. 40518 and 40220 appear on the Creator Expert page for Lego.com, so is this it? I miss the mini versions of Creator Expert vehicles like 40220 originally was, along with 40109, 40049, 40079, and 40252. I don't count HARLEY-1.
Is that a black lipstick piece as the handlebar’s grip? If so, NPU!
I had heard rumors of a Creator Expert Vespa, but I dont think this is it. This might be its GWP though. I dont think its simply a Creator set, because I think theres a Vespa print or sticker on the front, and Lego doesnt really do licensed Creator sets. Its also much too small for an 18+ set. Well have to wait and see I guess!
I’d like to see someone build a Luca recolor!
It’s just the greatest thing that humans ever made: the Vespa!

Nothing is too small for an 18+ set!
*18+ polybags coming soon to checkout isles near you*
As a longtime fan of vintage scooters in general and Vespas in particular, looking forward to getting this. Especially if it is a GWP with a Creator Expert version.

It's a newer part (6371584) that does basically the same thing without the rubber tip.
Silenzio, Bruno!
If you know the reference, you know. ;)
In all seriousness, this looks pretty sweet. Will definitely pick it up.
Luca reference.
Seriously though, great movie. And this looks like a lovely little set!
Signore Vespa!
Buongiorno Signore Vespa!

We don’t talk about him, though.
“You just sit on it, and it takes you anywhere you wanna go. In the whole stinkin’ world!”
“Vespa is freedom...”
Definitely looks like a GWP. The rumors say it’s mint colored & comes with quite a few accessories. That’s a cool little set nonetheless.
Cute! Probably the most well known motorcycle around the world. I already imagine them in different colors... :-) I would prefer as retail but will be GWP for sure....
BELLISSIMA!

Yup I would say like gwp to a big scale one.
It may look like a GWP, but it is surrounded only by regular creator sets on this photo which it makes quite unlikely to be a gwp. Nice set, but red seems to be not the most typical color of such scooters, ain't it?

That's more likely to be the Honda Cub and varients/derivatives.

Great point about the colour!
The picture seems to have been inserted only to show how horrendous scale can be in LEGO. But this is speculation, and so is anything related to that scooter.

Literally have no idea what a Honda Cub is, but I know what a Vespa is

From Wikipedia:
In continuous manufacture since 1958 with production surpassing 60 million in 2008, 87 million in 2014, and 100 million in 2017, the [Honda] Super Cub is the most produced motor vehicle in history.

Not as iconic as the Vespa and certanly not as attractive!
@thor96:
The 40220 Routemaster bus did start out as a GWP before being sold for $9.99. It’s also the only one of those sets that has a larger counterpart (10258) under the Creator Expert line. The only thing this picture proves is that the train and Vespa pictured are likely to be released as sets. By itself, it neither proves nor disproves the possibility of a larger 18+ Vespa. It also doesn’t prove that this Vespa will be a GWP for a larger 18+ Vespa, since the two Routemasters were released over a year apart.
There were some leaks circulating at the beginning of November about a Creator Expert Vespa with a mini-version for GWP, but since the numbering for GWPs and store exclusives like Tuk Tuk is the same, it might as well be its own separate thing.
40517 is the mini set that will promote 10298 Vespa scooter - Creator Expert / 18+
Just like 40486 adidas Originals Superstar (mini) was the gwp which came out alongside 10282 adidas Originals Superstar Creator Expert.
