2022 Helmet Collection officially announced!
Posted by CapnRex101,
Three new additions to the Helmet Collection have been officially revealed, including 75343 Dark Trooper Helmet.
Iconic Luke Skywalker, the Mandalorian and Dark Trooper inspired designs to join the rest of the LEGO Star Wars helmet building set line up
Whether you prefer to be on team light side or dark side, fans can get excited about the LEGO Group introducing three new character-inspired designs to the Star Wars helmet collection. Build and display hero Luke Skywalker’s iconic pilot headgear, pay homage to the legendary bounty hunter, Din Djarin, from The Mandalorian or tap into your Imperial side with the Dark Trooper Helmet building set.
The new LEGO Star Wars helmet building sets are designed to provide fans with another way of venturing into the galaxy, providing a fully immersive building experience that makes a striking display piece once completed.
Builders can awaken their creative forces and channel their inner Jedi-like focus with the highly detailed LEGO Star Wars Luke Skywalker helmet, which features a brick-built microphone, translucent orange visor elements and nameplate. Others may prefer to build the sleek LEGO Star Wars reimagining of the Mandalorian’s iconic helmet, which uses metallic LEGO elements to recreate the shine of beskar.
Those who are enticed by the dark side can show their loyalty to the Imperial Remnant with the LEGO Star Wars Dark Trooper helmet. The model recreates the contours of the helmet in LEGO style and uses a combination of translucent red LEGO elements and white bricks to recreate the Dark Trooper’s shining red eyes.
The new models will be available for pre-order from February 2nd, globally at LEGO.com before launching on March 1st priced at 59.99 USD/EUR at LEGO Stores and all other major retailers.

Even those all three of these (especially with the mando helmet) have their flaws, I can't help but love them all, although I probably won't be buying any simply due to me starting to run out of space
All three look amazing
Really love what they're doing with this collection
Hats off to the designers
I like them, but not the Dark Trooper one.
It's too small, it looks jarring compared to bulkier helmets like the stormtrooper.

I think you mean helmets off to the designers :-)
I'm actually glad Lego is making so many of these. For people who want/like them, it's great to get more, and for me it's nice that there are fewer sets that I'm going to spend money on.

It's an accurate helmet.
The bulk of the upper Dark Trooper is all neck armor and shoulder pads, which wouldn't be appropriate in this series.
I'm torn. Like the comment above, the Death Trooper one looks too small and out of sync with the others. Also, I wish the hadnt done Mando, it's just dull, one colour and next to Boba will not look inspiring. I do like Lukes for sure. I might just stick the Trilogy and just get Luke to go with Vader, Trooper, Scout, Tie and Boba

and don't forget the ugly stickers
I am having a hard time reconciliating the fact that 75343 has more part than 75328 or 75327. It looks tiny compared to the others (of course it can contain tons of very small pieces). I guess these have to be seen in person to judge of their respective size.
Mando is alright, dark trooper isn’t too great, red five is spectacular.
I know it’s accurate but I’m just not a fan of how the dark trooper translated into lego.
I have one complaint here: I bought 75274 when Squadrons came out, hoping for a rebel pilot helmet so I could have the pair to display. Months went buy, and nothing, and then when 75305 came out, I bought that and 75276 , so I could have an Imperial helmet display instead, which of course needed 75304 when Black Friday put it down to a sensible price.
And now 75327 FINALLY comes along, and despite the fact I already have a shelf full of helmets that I like too much to disassemble, effectively removing a sizeable chunk of my limited display space, I'm off to buy yet another.
Fortunately the goggles look much better in these shots than the ones we saw the other day.
These look great. I hope there are many more to come in the future.
They're ok, I guess. When the first wave of helmets came up two years ago, I was kind of excited to get them. I did buy the first three and then the next two last year. But I never came around building them*. And I probably never will. Display sets are just not for me. Now I'm thinking of selling them. All of that to say that I will not be getting these ones. I'm glad people like them and that LEGO makes them, but they're just not for me (which is fine, LEGO does not have to catter to all my needs and wants!)
*I did build a custom multicolour Boba Fett one with whatever parts I could find which I still have. It's ugly but cool!

No excuse not to do neck armor, Darth Vader has it too.
"Those who are enticed by the dark side can show their loyalty to the Imperial Remnant with the LEGO Star Wars Dark Trooper helmet."
Uh, no thanks. I'm gonna pass on showing my loyalty to the fascist war criminals.
Looks great... boring... great additions to the series... theme has clearly has run dry... just a parts pack..,. go to bricks and pieces... too big... too small... should have been prequel... what’s a supermarket... could use stickers.... ugh, stickers.... so much for no exclusives... commenting has ended for this article. :o)
I'm loving that Dark Trooper one, I think it looks awesome! Usually don't get these busts, but I'm tempted to grab that one
Wonder if they will redo the Boba Fett in the same way as the mando helmet… that would be instabuy for me
I know I'm in the minority, but something about the Red Five helmet just seems off to me.. The top should come down further and the visor looks like sunglasses.

I thought I was alone... I really don't like it (except the printed dish which looks great!).
Dark Troopers are droids, correct? Then it's a head, not a helmet.
We know that a version of this series for C-3PO is coming at some point.

It's not perfect, but especially after seeing a turnaround in the marketing video, I think it's amazing for what it is. I really don't think it could be improved based on practical restrictions for parts.
I don't think the top is supposed to come down, as was discussed the other day, the whole build is at an angle. It's not level with a pilot's face, it's as if the pilot was looking up.
Dark Trooper looks like a Bulldog - awesome.
Impressed (and relieved) that there are finally some March releases that I don't want!
I Luke the mando one ans glad it’s not the same as Boba

My thoughts exactly. I'd love to see the source imagery they used to come up with this geometry.
They all look fantastic! I'm just kinda let down that 2 of the 3 slots in the lineup are taken up by new properties. There are so many designs to choose from across the franchise. I would've preferred one of those slots go to something else: maybe something from the prequel era?
Luke's helmet really stands out from the others, awesome design on that one
Would be good if the dark trooper had two light bricks (but activated by just one button).
Wow, I hate that Dark Trooper helmet. Mando and Luke's helmets look good, but I burst out laughing at the Dark Trooper. I get that they have small heads relative to their bodies, but the proportions are just off. It looks like it's been punched in the nose. And I love studs showing on LEGO models, but there needs to be a balance between smooth and studded surfaces and this model doesn't achieve that at all.
General Grievous next, please!
Love these, definitely getting these to join the others, they look awesome together.

Until some jawas salvage some....
Helmet good, hammer bad - this community is so amusing sometimes :)
(Love all of you)
So after all the rumours there's no face in Luke's helmet. Fine with me. Will definitely get that one. Probably pass on the other two. Mandalorian is a boring grey version of Boba Fett and the dark trooper, as others have said, just looks small and incomplete compared to the others.
Looking forward to Leia's Boushh helmet and a Tusken Raider in future series.
I already have Boba Fett and the Scout Trooper and I built Darth Vader last weekend, so I’m really looking forward to some good guys. In my opinion, Luke’s is the best of the bunch but I was positive that I wouldn’t like it when it was rumoured (p.s. I think missing the face was a great call). I fancy Mando too, just wish it was all metallic silver… I did a double take at the Dark Trooper. I definitely didn’t expect it and I didn’t like it when I first saw at. However, after looking at it a bit more, I think it will look better in person, like Darth Vader. Hoping to get all three but I’ll likely only get Luke and Mando.
I think the Luke Skywalker helmet looks great, although I won't be buying it. I have been almost tempted to buy some of the previous helmets but something has always put me off and I think it's the size. They feel like the sort of thing that should be life size but are instead a weird in between scale that, in my opinion, doesn't quite work.
Having said all that I'm glad Lego make these sorts of display pieces because, although these specific ones don't appeal to me, they obviously makes other people happy.

Weell, I would call it a helmet, but if it was a head, Venom and Carnage were heads not helmets.
"
I was only talking about the Star Wars ones. But aren't Venom and Carnage sentient shape-shifters? Then they would be hoods or masks, not helmets or heads!
@SlimBrick1:
Boba and Mando are helmets, but if they ever do Jango, that’ll be a head.
Guys the ‘helmet’ is just to categorize the whole collection.
Don’t overthink.
If I didn't already have Fett I'd be after the Mando helmet, but as is, they're a bit too similar. I love Dark Troopers thanks to the old Dark Forces game, but without the giant shoulder pads the head definitely looks too tiny. Red Five looks great, I'm just not sure I have space for it by my other Luke stuff. My big wish for the helmet series is still Captain Rex, Phase 1 or 2. Or Captain Fordo phase 2, but that'll never happen. Last Tartakovsky based set was 75087, back seven years ago
I think mandos helmet shaping is more in line with how boba’s should’ve been.

I’d love literally anything from the Genndy. And I second the motion for a Cpt Rex helmet.
Shut up Lego, and just take my money…
I’ll probably only get Luke, but I like them.
So next on the list should be a Clone Trooper helmet, Snowtrooper, C-3PO, Red Guard helmet, and a Kylo Ren helmet.
Any others?

Vader's 'neck' is actually a part of the helmet, the bottom of the mouth piece flares out and rests atop the shoulder armor, which isn't in the set.
I love these sets and these are great additions !
I actually like the Dark Trooper far more than I thought I would.
Looks amazing. Seems like the Light Side has less Helmets than the Dark Side. I have 5 Helmets from the Star Wars Helmet Collection and I will buy these 3 for sure.
Only the scout trooper and Boba fett helmets caught my eye. All of these look fantastic!

Star Wars is just a franchise.
I really am not a fan of the helmets without heads, such as Luke’s, and the Batman hood / mask.
They look so unfinished! And the black stands are still too obvious. They just look WRONG!
Mando helmet is pretty good, but the colour is so plain - i much prefer the Boba Fett one.
Dark Trooper is cool, but looks a little small.
Deserved shoulder armour.
I didn't realize how tiny they were until I looked at the pictures of the Dark Trooper.
Crazy.
If they were half the price I might consider one.
Oh, they gotta' do a Crimson Stormtrooper.
They're really not that tiny. On display you'll see they have a presence.
Some appear small like Boba Fett and Scout Trooper since they're narrow
but Darth Vader, TIE Pilot and Stormtrooper are full large heads and look the best of the whole line.
Here seems like Luke's helmet would fit that full display look.
Pretty cool as expected, I'm still waiting for some Clone Wars themed busts. Get me a good General Grievous bust and I'm sold.

General Grievous
Captain Rex
AT-AT pilot
Commander Cody
Boussh
A chrome Captain Phasma would be awesome but that will never happen.
Seeing the rebel helmet I'm surprised they didn't do Poe's. I know Luke is more popular, but Poe was more recent in memory so *shrug*
I think overall the designers are doing a nice job with these. I think I'll have to wait until the next batch and see if something else stands out. Only so much money can go around in my bank account.

Poe’s X-Wing helmet just isn’t popular or iconic even in the Star Wars universe.
They’re going with with classic, popular, hot and iconic pieces.
@legoDad42:
I vote for an antimatter Kylo Ren helmet, so when they come together they cancel each other out and cease to exist.
Skywalker's helmet is really making me consider starting a collection.
