That's a crazy looking beast.

By in Netherlands,

And so begins the great MCU/SW crossover, with Salacious B. Crumb showing up in a Thor set.

I thought that had already been done early with the upcoming Star Wars set prices.

…is that a bilgesnipe? Boy would that be a long coming payoff

By in United Kingdom,

Saw this like 3 weeks ago with someone claiming they'd found it at a lego store in Istanbul.

Talk about movie spoilers though, especially with the cracks in Mjolnir.

Gravatar
By in Brazil,

Another Marvel set to buy for the minifigures cause the building sucks. Also, no exclusive figs since they're all in the superior Goat Boat.

By in Germany,

What is this thing supposed to be? Does it have a name?

Ha, ha, ha! No doubt. That thing looks like a cross between a scarecrow and a totem pole. I'm spending my money on those awesome Duplo-for-Adults they came out with awhile back.

100% agree. As someone who spends a LOT of time looking at LEGO at Walmart and Target, the shelf tag, shelf design, and set availability in the background is clearly Target, not Walmart.

Not to say the set is not also available in Walmart, as the article mentions.

@GrizBe: The spoiler isn't the cracks, it's the fact that Mjolnir is back in one piece.

By in Australia,

I don't mind this set at all, looks like a good way to get Thor's Helmet without spending a chunk of money on the more expensive sets in the line like that boat.

The Aku reference is spot on! Nice. I was watching that last night.

These superhero sets are getting so bizarre that it's hard to tell whether this is an April Fools' Day prank or not.

Let's see. The Doctor Stranger set with the tentacle monster had pieces that didn't sit well together. The three superhero mecha were delayed because of those awful balljoint pieces causing problems.

How long until this one gets recalled? Anyone taking bets?

Nah this was leaked a month ago by youtubers

By in United States,

Anyone else notice there are Peeps on the shelf beneath? For anyone outside the U.S. and Canada, those are (IMO totally inedible) marshmallow "treats" that are sold year round, but have a wave of sales in the spring so they can make their way into Easter baskets. Happy Easter!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Figures are

Thor
Thor
Gorr

Alright then.

By in Dominican Republic,

Can confirm that the shelf picture is from Target! These are two separate sightings

Respectfully, Peeps are awesome. Especially when exposed to air and allowed to "age" for a few months. I love them. This is not an April Fool's joke. Happy Easter!

By in United States,

When I saw this leak a few weeks back, I hoped that it was a (really) bad MOC that someone photoshopped onto appropriate packaging. Even if it movie accurate, and even though it does look like Aku as referenced above, it is . . . not good.

Cool figures but that thing without knowing context looks like some weird totem from Hidden Side.

I have zero knowledge in Peeps (first time I even hear the name) but my guess would be that 'aging' something mostly made of sugar with air would just make it as hard as *a Mjolnir.

* There seems to be more than one of those thingy now.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Why'd they start putting the Mixels rejects in sets?

You are completely correct - crunchy Peeps. Young me was weird, and old me still carries the flag.

159 pieces !!! Lot more than that .. April Fools alright.

Actually the cracks are the spoiler. Its no secret Mjolnir got destroyed, but the cracks show its not been put back together properly which could suggest any number of spoilerific things.

@3arteq: Aku didn't have so much green. Although that model does sort of have the GREAT FLAMING EYEBROWS!

I can't abide Peeps! hard or soft (although, I haven't tried any of the new-fangled flavors/colors). They give me a sugar headache just thinking about them. Nevertheless! I respect the sugar junkie wierdo that was young you. And, by Gawd, I will defend your right to eat plasticoated nuclear-whipped sugar-molded foul (hard or soft)!

;) I think I had too much sugar (or its fermented brother) prior to writing the aforementioned.

You have a good point, there. If I add this to my Halloween set-up, it might be really unnerving. Hmmm...

How many Lego sets can BrickSet talk me into?

That question has the same answer as "How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie-pop?"

...The world may never know! ;-P
