The LEGO instructions portal has revealed a new BrickHeadz set, 40547 Obi-Wan Kenobi & Darth Vader. It's believed that it will be available at the Star Wars Celebration event that commences tomorrow in Anaheim, CA, which coincides with the first episode of the new Obi-Wan Kenobi series airing on Disney+

It's the second blocky figure of the Dark Lord to have been produced, following 41619 Darth Vader which was released during 2016, but the first of the Jedi Master.

Thanks to Robert for the news

I'm a fan of brickheadz in general but I don't love these. Obi-Wan's beard looks weird because it gives him a :| mouth, and Vader's got too many colours on him. Props for trying the red lenses but I'm not sure it works. Might look better in person?

Do the numbers on the box suggest there are 175 of these Brickheadz figures?

More -- some did not receive numbers.

Here's a list of the numbered ones in numerical order: https://brickset.com/sets/query-6062

I've never owned a Brickheadz but have always thought they look quite cool. The Vader is great.

By in Netherlands,

So would this be available to the general public?

By in United States,

These are unique enough to be interesting. Vader is hilariously cute and menacing.

The Vader Brickheadz looks great, Obi Wan not so much.

Really? I'm not a fan of the brickheadz or sw, but I like the techniques used to make these. Both Obi robes with the snotting and vader's helmet with the use of the clip plate are nicely done and make them look a lot more intresting to look at than say the spice girls.

@CCC I know we've had beards before, but the 1x1 corner tiles fit a lot better with the general style of brickheadz. This gives him a real :| face... Add it to the high forehead and he looks like a tired manager.

@dutchbrickdad Fair, the robes are excellent. It's the head that doesn't do it for me.

Correction: Celebration starts tomorrow, May 26. Obi-Wan Kenobi, however, premieres on May 27 (but will be privately screened to Celebration attendees on 26th)

The way Obi-Wan’s facial hair blends into his robes makes it look like he has a massive Hulk Hogan style moustache

They should be wide released at some point in the future. I'd guess either July or August

Gravatar
By in Canada,

41619 was released in 2018, not 2016.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Vader looks exactly like the 41619 one. Any differences at all?

Gravatar
By in Italy,

Vader looks like Dark Helmet from Spaceballs.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I like the Kenobi, wish they'd release it as a standalone as I've already got 41619.

Anyone else find it odd that there are only 113 results in this database query, where are the missing 62 Brickheads then?? Even when you search the database for 'Brickheadz' it still only brings back 133. Bricklink only has 119?!?! I'm soo confused.

[Edit] - Just found out this is the sets, and the double packs have more than 1 number on them. So this set is one entry on the database but includes 174/175......Im soo stupid sometimes.

I actually like Vader. Not how I would have designed, but he certainly is unique. Can't say the same about Obi-Wan though.

Multipacks have a single set number, but each BrickHeadz figure has its own series number.

a great upgrade for Darth Vader

The new Vader is far superior to the previous release. This Obi-Wan is…I dunno. It’s OK. A good start I would say. There’s something weird about it. He reminds me of a classic animation character I can’t put my memory precisely on who, but there’s a resemblance.

Oh well, doesn’t matter. I took the deep dive on these little pieces of crack a couple years back and my, er, um, condition…makes it impossible for me to turn back now. :D

GOTTA CATCH EM ALL. Oh boy… walk away son, they’re just NUMBERS, Hugo…

Gravatar
By in United States,

Wow. Maybe it's just me but the old Vader looks SO MUCH better than this one. It feels like they tried to make this one taller or give it a bigger chest or something?

It seems more... triangular than other Brickheadz that are supposed to be square. The chin, the shoulder plates, rounded crotch plate, and even the cape to some extent make him more shapely than your typical Brickhead, which you THINK would be a good thing, but it clashes with the overall style.

I appreciate the change from black eyes to trans red, but they are way too huge. At first glance I thought he was an Inquisitor I wasn't familiar with.

Will these be sold to the general public? It’d be a shame if that Vader was 300 dollars second hand.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Wahh? Looking through the instructions Vader's eyes uses reddish brown slopes but the picture looks red? Is this an error or something?

Gravatar
By in United States,

Oof, these are not great looking.

Well I never had the chance to get my hand on Ahsoka Brickhead even though its "available"

By in United Kingdom,

I’m happy with my first generation Vader so pleased that Ben appears to have no prints and can thus be assembled from parts. Might do his hair grey though to be Alec Guinness instead of Ewan McGregor.

Are you serious? Clearly the eyes should be noticeable to you at least?"

Ha now that you mention it! I was so focused on all the prints all over the model O_O

Gravatar
By in United States,

Did they give Vader.... A crotch? Why is that part there?

Gravatar
By in Russian Federation,

I like them, though, I would prefer having alternative grey color for Obi-Van's hair.

Dark Red in instructions.

By in Spain,

I think I prefer the original Darth Vader version. It seems like Obi-Wan Kenobi doesn't have any printed parts so I might build him separately.
Would two different Darth Vaders, on display, look weird?
