Peter Pan & Wendy's Storybook Adventure unveiled!
Posted by CapnRex101,
LEGO produced several Storybook Adventures sets in 2020 and 2021, recreating classic Disney films in an interesting storybook format.
German retailer Lucky Bricks has published images of another such set today: 43220 Peter Pan & Wendy's Storybook Adventure. This takes inspiration from the upcoming live action movie, containing Peter Pan, Wendy and Captain Hook micro-dolls.
The set will be available from March 1st and is expected to cost €19.99, likely equating to £17.99 in the UK and $19.99 in the US.

Yeah I got a couple for my sisters for their birthdays.
Reminds me a bit of Polly Pocket from back in the day.
I haven't picked up any yet but I've intended to, maybe this one will be the one, especially if this is the only representation this film gets in LEGO form, it'll fit perfectly into my collection of one-off oddities
Erk, not sure about the fig for ol' Captain Two-Hands there.
Not exactly Hand Solo here is he?
Mi...micro-dolls, you say? Didn't know that was a thing. TIL
Some good part recolours in this actually. Also did this movie get announced? First I'm hearing about it.
I like these Disney storybook sets. These are cute. I bought the Beauty and the Beast one for my wife. This set has nice parts. But I never heard of the movie and I’m a Disney fan. That’s escaped my attention some how.
My daughter has all of them so far except one from Encanto, so almost certain purchase here.
I hope they still pay the royalties for that guy that created the 21315 Pop-Up Book Ideas set.
Because of that, Lego created more than 20 sets for Disney and Harry Potter.

1) This looks nothing like the popup ideas set in execution or style (except both are made of LEGO pieces).
2) Popup books have been around for hundreds of years... why not give the guy who actually INVENTED the idea credit instead? Makes about as much sense as giving the LEGO Ideas project credit...
3) People really need to get over this "Lego stole an idea project" baloney. Nothing is new under the sun: If you can build it, somebody probably already has before you... or at least thought up the idea to some degree. Tanks, Helicopters, Airplanes, all were invented in the last 120 years.... but all were thought up by Leonardo Da Vinci in the 1600s. Where is HIS credit?
also, (hashtag) NotmyPeterPan ! Where is the good ol' animated one when we need him, not some live-action usurper?

It's apparently gonna be a disney plus exclusive movie.

Some stage actors and a piece of paper full of text describing Peter Pan would like to have a word with your animated usurper.
This is SO amazing. I love it!

Robin Williams was bangarang as the Pan. We can never be friends if you thumb your nose at Williams."
I had forgotten about that film... never seen it all the way through, only bits and pieces. I apologize!
Is Peter Pan and Wendy a new series? Obviously I know of Peter Pan, but i've never heard of this movie/show. These lil books are cool, Polly Pocket/Mighty Max vibes, but with a Lego twist. Fair price too, perfect birthday or Christmas gift. My neices and nephew are in the 4-6 year old range and i'm dying for them to get into Lego, this is a good intro
I didn't know that Peter Pan was actually Indian.
I recently looked up 2023 films to see what's coming out. This wasn't even mentioned. The mini-mini dolls are just weird.
Have picked up a couple of these for the kids over the years and think their customisation/playability is great - especially if you need a distraction on a long flight. The book side piece things are great for keeping all the parts corralled on a tray table. This one looks like a great addition to the theme!
I wasn't even aware that this was a movie that was happening, but I guess it fits with the things they've been doing.
I just hope it's much better than Pinocchio live-action.
We have a small bookcase full of the other sets that our granddaughters always play with when we see them. They look so cute and the kids have fun playing with them. It's also easy to put away when they are done. This is a must buy for our family.

Since he’s pretty hands-on I’m guessing it’s the “origin story” of Pan and Hook’s rivalry.
Aaaaaaaaahhhhh, oooooooh... zzzzzzzzz.... bedtime achieved.
Reading these Storybook Adventures is difficult when the sets don't include any PAGES
-37/10 regardless of my innate illiteracy.
Come to think of it, I’m pretty sure this is the closest we’ve gotten to official images for the film.
These have always been an idea I thought was interesting, but not in a way that involved actually wanting them.
This set looks terrible. As someone else commented, it has Polly Pocket vibes from back in the day.
If Lego is going to do a storybook-style set for Peter Pan, why not make it enjoyable like the Ideas Pop-up book? Hardly anything is brick-built.
Saw this on the shelf yesterday (23 Feb) at local Target (San Jose CA), didn't try to purchase & didn't know it was a movie or an upcoming set…
