A forthcoming gift with purchase, 40587 Easter Basket, has been revealed at LEGO.com.

There is, however, no information there about when it'll be available or how much you'll need to spend to acquire the 367-piece set, although Hoth Bricks is stating March 16 to April 9 and €70 or €80.

By in United Kingdom,

Bunny!!!

Althought I don't usually care for seasonal GWPs, this set does have a lot of good re-purpose-able (is that even a word?) bricks.
:-)

He is pretty cute, tho.

Looks good. But I don't get it, it has more pieces than Houses of the World but the spend threshold is (rumoured to be) 1/3 compared to that set.

I enjoy these little bunny builds way more than is rational to do so :)

A better comparison is last year's Easter GWP. That had the same price threshold and 50 fewer pieces. The surprise, if anything, is the RRP of the set is £17.99 compared to £11.99 last year.

The threshold of the set is driven by the purchasing group it is aimed at, not the pure value of the set. Easter sets are clearly (in LEGO's eyes) aimed at children, therefore they have a lower threshold.

By in Poland,

I wonder if the Ukrainian colours are deliberate?

I like the fact that the ears have some poseability, makes for that little bit of extra expressiveness. And the flowers aren't Botanical Collection level (admittedly, they couldn't be, with that piece count), but they're still nicely done.

By in Germany,

We got the Easter catalog in the mail yesterday and it lists it as available for a $70 purchase between March 16 - April 9. It’s super cute. Can’t wait to add it to my Easter display.

the more bunny sets I have the better

By in Canada,

It's a $90 spend here in Canada. I'll probably get some Speed Champions for me and this for my daughter.

Looks good! This is a set I would likely pick up for $15 just for parts.

In 23 sets since August 2022.

They'd be upside-down if it were. So I'd say: most likely not intentional.
