The second in the series of microscale buildings has been revealed at LEGO.com. The 270-piece 40590 Houses of the World 2 builds a dwelling in the Moorish architectural style found in North Africa.

It will be a gift with purchase at some point soon, and we'll be publishing our review this afternoon.

By in France,

It doesn't look to bad, tbh. In fact, it actually looks very nice. The door is really well done, and the reference to the love of tea in North African countries is clever

Not bad. Not bad at all. The palm tree looks a bit big though. Also, since when does Mario have scanning tiles in these sets?

The furnished inside is a surprise and no house is complete without a washing line.

By in Norway,

I love it!! I plan to upscale these tiny houses into at least 3in1 size. I hope for a april 1st GWP..

By in Netherlands,

Looks better than the first one, but not worth it for me if they throw it on such a high price point again

Charming design. Very likely I'll hate the price threshold again

Looks better than the first, IMO. Also, would be perfect for a "no room at the Inn" Christmas scene.

Another £220 spend? No thanks.

No gigantic animal guarding the front = no deal.

Seriously, these are for Lego fans 20 years from now. They are great. They help Lego's self-professed desire for difference and inclusion. I wholly support that goal.

But, at 200+. That's too rich for my blood- especially with a mediocre build. :l

EDIT: Although if it's paired with the excellent new botanical GWP (which is an especial favorite of Mrs. StyleCounselor), then I'll be so down to clown.

That's either a very small house or a very big tea set.Snarking aside, it's pretty charming. If the spend threshold isn't too high (which I'm sure it will be), I might try for this one.

Ooh, I really like this one. I don't love the GWP-ness but I might make an exception.

Very nice. I love Middle Eastern architecture. I’d love Moor sets like this.
