By in United States,

Finally good to have that Spider-Man NWH set.

Gravatar
By in United States,

The spider-man final battle is great, but I might swap out for classic villains.

Groot looks good just not something I need. Valkyrie on her ride is the only part of the endgame set that intrigues me

Gravatar
By in United States,

Outside of the Groot set these look awfully good. Going to have to save up my pennies for sure. The 4+ set is a tad spendy for what you get but I like that they have a mech that is easily buildable for younger kids...my youngest son has had some trouble with the current mechs. And I (personally) prefer Thanos to be the bigger minifigure as that is far more 'correct' but I'm sure LEGO has their reasons for a smaller one.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Seems a shame that we only get the micro version of Wasp, the sets all look interesting though

Gravatar
By in United States,

I love the NWH build, but the Minifigure inaccuracies are off the charts, compare the outfit colors of Ned, MJ, and Doc Ock to the movie, also Strange is wearing the MoM costume. I wish they came with unmasked heads, and arm/ leg printing, but I could overlook those exclusions if it weren't for all the inaccuracies with the others.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

pretty cool but $27 for hulkbuster v thanos and 66 pieces is way too much.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

That Green Goblin minifig is so disappointing. No arm printing, not even leg printing, no hood, no scarf or fabric cape...

Gravatar
By in United States,

I know my brother would love to have the set depicting the showdown in “Spider-Man: No Way Home”. It’s a cool display (but I don’t like the color for Dafoe’s hair—too dark). The concept to have our heroines vs Thanos is nice, too. Good to have. Looks to be a nice display piece similar to the final battle in “No Way Home”.

As for the Groot one, tho. Why? Is is necessary? It is ugly to look at. And we don’t need yet another Hulkbuster. Sheesh.

Gravatar
By in United States,

The No-Way Home Final Battle set looks almost like a moc, and I mean that in a good way, it turned out much better than I expected. The figure selection is also pretty killer, though I do have some gripes about it. Doc Ocks trenchcoat is obviously the wrong color, olive would be more accurate. I also think something about Goblin's costume looks off, maybe it's that there is too much green and that it is too bright, but I'm not quite sure. The spider-men could have used arm printing, and Doctor Strange is reusing a torso from a different movie, but those are more excusable problems in my opinion.

The Endgame Final Battle looks good as well, but I'm not a fan of how most of the figures are just reuses of figures that came in cheaper sets. The other two sets are pretty meh, and the Groot seems like an especially weird choice for a set since I'm pretty sure it only appeared in a few comics within the past few years.

Agreed...the 4+ sets are always overpriced. Feels like a cash grab by LEGO on these 4+ sets with no clear reason why they are expensive.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

The NWH one is a letdown, I imagined something similar to 70840 going by the leaks. Kids will love it though, I'm sure it'll be a great winter holidays gift.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Firestar custom arms are really gonna come in clutch with that NWH set. Very disappointed in the Doc Ock and Gobby figures, but all three Spideys in one set is amazing and Electro looks dope. $110 is absolutely too much, though, definitely gonna wait for a sale.

Gravatar
By in United States,

$27 on the Hulkbuster is insane, especially when the first two Hulkbusters were only $3 more

Gravatar
By in United States,

The 5 1x1 stickers on that Minecraft head look absolutely insufferable to put on.

EDIT: And seven stickers for Lady Liberty’s crown! My goodness! At this rate I’m surprised they didn’t go the extra mile to sticker some tile with a quote from the scene! “There's gotta be a black Spider-Man out there...“

Gravatar
By in United States,

$100 for 794 pieces, 5 reused figures, and two variants of existing characters for a build that is a literal pile of trash is astounding. Valkyrie and the Pegasus are the only interesting parts imo

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Quite funny that they're doing the Endgame girl power moment as a set. For the record, I had no problem with that moment in the film, but it did feel very contrived. I'll probably cop the set

Gravatar
By in United States,

I really like that Pegasus!

Gravatar
By in United States,

This is a pretty respectable wave I guess. Venom Groot looks fine although I'm not sure how much demand there is for it. The juniors set look pretty good considering that it is Juniors(that price is still rough). The main two sets look really good! I especially like the new stand parts that are being introduced. The minifigs in NWH look a bit off as others have mentioned. Green Goblin does not look great, and not including the Lizard is a big miss. I don't find the lack of a Sandman figure too egregious since a fairly accurate version isn't hard to obtain. The build itself looks good(especially sausage eyebrows!), but it is definitely overpriced. The Endgame battle looks good, but it's not as nice of a display piece. I'm glad they include Wasp albeit only in her nano form. It's also nice to finally see Valkyrie's Ragnarok/Endgame suit as well as the reuse of the Thanos bigfig.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Another Hulkbuster! just what we all needed.

Both final battle sets look interesting. and generous on figures. will be interesting if we see more in that style as well, or if it will just be limited to NWH and Endgame.

Venom Groot, Why? is it just because they had the other Groot and could swap some parts out?

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'm gonna have nightmares about venomized Groot. He's freakier than the Dobby set is!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Ooh, I like that No Way Home set for sure. I have no Lego budget at present, but it's definitely going on my 'maybe someday' list; it has a lot of characters who I'd like to get minifigure of, is just the sort of scene that I could see displaying (what can I say, I love a good final battle!), and feels more substantial than its Star Wars equivalents... possibly due to the black base being far less parts-intensive than those on the SW scenes, allowing more of its piece count can go into the model itself.

The Endgame one looks nice too, but I just don't see the same amount of 'stuff' there for the same price. I guess the horse and the bigfig being more expensive to produce would explain the lower part count, but my interest in it just isn't as high as the Spider-Man one. It does have a very cool selection of lady heroes, though.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

The END GAME and the Final Battle sets are good but could have been great with some minor improvements. The Goblin fig does look cheap next to the electro fig they look like they are from 2 different sets. Plus how is it we still can't get a Lizard mini fig or big fig. This was the perfect opportunity. Always thought the Killer Croc big fig from the LEGO BATMAN sets was a good jumping off point for The Lizard.

Gravatar
By in Brazil,

One Baby Groot is enough. Imagine a second one with Venom skin.

Endgame is just a pile of garbage and reused figures.

NWH is amazing, though the minifigures quality should be better.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Endgame Battle is essentially the 70-dollar one from 2021 with swapped figures and all the parts rearranged, from a weird endgame scene.

Iron man in hulkbuster set is cool.

The no way home set is amazing but a little overpriced. Will buy if it goes on sale.

Gravatar
By in Brazil,

Man, three Hulkbusters in less than a year must be a record. I bet they will make a microscale polybag one as well before the year ends, you will see.

The NHW set is... disappointing. No Sandman and Lizard, the Green Goblin figure is poor, and the set looks awfully small. It is more like "No Way It Has 900 Parts". And the price... will be absurd here in Brazil.

Gravatar
By in Italy,

Venomized Groot is Adorable <3.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Thar reminds me. The current Groot 76217 is cheaper than Amazon from Tesco atm (£27).

Gravatar
By in United States,

These look absolutely fantastic!! I’m over the moon about the No Way Home set in particular.

Gravatar
By in United States,

People are gonna complain about it, but I think the NWH set is perfect, will be picking it up for the different spider-men. Venomized groot feels random but is kinda cool, and while the 4+ hulkbuster is 4+, it does scale well with the hulk bigfigs. Endgame final battle is fine, I won't be picking it up though.

Also "wHy'd ThEy GiVe WaNdA a ClOtH bUt NoT oUr PrEcIoUs ClOnEs?"

Gravatar
By in United States,

another endgame final battle set. i'm starting to see some competition for luke's landspeeder.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Immortalizing the most cringeworthy moment already cringe-filled movie, bold action

Spider-Man set looks good, needed lizard and sandman, but otherwise the only one I’d have even a mild interest in

Sad that there is no Sandman in the set.

Gravatar
By in United States,

best hulkbuster yet ;) that groot though, ick no thanks

Gravatar
By in Norway,

A new white horse! Finally something useful for me from the Marvel theme ;)

Gravatar
By in United States,

I can't believe that Lego is making adult-oriented (space-deprived), cool sets, with lots of cool figs!!! These are fantastic! Wow!

They examined the success of 76200 ran with the concept. Awesome! Hope the company continues in this direction.

Edit: Love that Hulkbuster (better than the big one). Groot is nightmare fuel, in a good way!!

I really like the Charge of the Light Brigade. But, there's definitely a criticism for failing to include Pepper and the Anti-Vaxxer. Glad I have them from other sets.

Edit II (Endgame): oh, she is there. In her tiny form, representing her mental capacity. How cool and cute!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Finally the waist capes are back! Give us one for captain rex for the love of all things holy!!!!!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Shadowfax!!!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Idk, the Endgame Battle for the same price at the NWH set, even with the Thanos big fig just seems off to me. There are some disappointments with the NWH set, but I will eventually get it. The Endgame set only interests me because of Valkyrie and her Pegasus. Might get this one at some point, but neither of these are a day 1 buy.

But the 4+ Ironman does look pretty cool.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Not a fan of the MCU, but I did grow up on the Raimi trilogy. Absolutely thrilled Tobey and his villains are gonna be affordable. He alone goes for $100 on bricklink in good condition, and there's andrew garfield for those fans! The SDCC figure goes for 15k nowadays.

Got a green goblin helmet and the atrocious bowl cut from OG Doc Ock on the way

They're not the same price.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Wow, the head for 76261 is similar to that of 70840. Apart for the crown pieces. The change is great though because it will facilitate playing with the set. 61406pb06 are fragile pieces too.
But the head opens up the same, same eyes, same mouth, etc.
I guess the original design was nice, so why change.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I don't really buy Marvel sets, but I was needing a dark red skirt for something non-Marvel-related, so the Endgame battle should come in handy.

Also, are those bent, transparent minifig stands new?

Gravatar
By in Australia,

The Iron Man minifigure in 76263 looks like the original comic book version with MCU detailing.

SH537 is the best Sandman minifigure.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Yikes. Groot is lazy, the spider-man battle is disappointing and that endgame set is a literal pile of trash. They couldn’t even put the gauntlet in the endgame set? And of course Cap’s shield and Thor’s hammer are buried under everything else but the characters are nowhere to be seen, thanks but I got the message the first time in 2019. I knew LEGO takes us for chumps but come on.

Gravatar
By in United States,

When are we ever going to get a Hulkbuster?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

You can tell that Endgame one was just made for those minifigs because the set itself is literally a big pile of trash. Like, it’s not even interesting looking debris, it’s just a big pile of stuff. Compare it to the No Way Home one where it’s not just some scaffolding or a big flat nothing for the fallen shield, but some effort has been put in the replicate Lady Liberty’s head

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

A lot of complaining i see.

I really like the NWH set. The set looks great from a lot of angles. There is a lot of detail and it has a lot of figures. The inclusion of Sandman just as some tan bricks and a hand is funny. Too bad we still don’t have a lizard.

The endgame set look good as well. But i think i’ll only get the nwh set

Gravatar
By in United States,

That Venomized Groot rocks!! Looks like it scales well with the previous large Groot set too

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

These dioramas are good and interesting that they're not 18+ like the SW sets.

But very pricey, will buy once discounted.

They are indeed new!

“Hey, guys, remember Thanos? We got Thanos. Thanos is a villain we have, and he’s not based on Darkseid at all.”

And can anyone explain the logic of Venomized Groot? It’s definitely not from the MCU, since there’s currently only a single Venom spore that crossed over. Is this based on a comic book, a TV series, or is it just the result of some fever dream that happened while someone was hopped up on everything that’s legal in Denmark?

The logic is that the last Groot set sold well, so they need a variation on it to sell more.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Nice to see a Bigfig again, even if it appears to be reused. Too bad they couldn’t have given us the Lizard; he’s one of my favorite Spider-Man villains when he’s done right.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Of course it's a fever dream. 76249 Venomized Groot vs 71453 Izzie and Bunchu the Bunny!

Gravatar

Somebody should make the rest of Lady Liberty in this scale. It would be amazing. (A replaceable shield / torch arm would be a nice bonus too...)

All 3 of them, but i want more MCU vehicles from "The Infinity Saga".

Gravatar
By in Germany,

oooh!.....another Iron Man. I shall call this one......Bikini Iron Man :o)

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Does the NWH set come with an instruction booklet? Because in the pictures i see kids building using a tablet for instructions

Gravatar
By in United States,

I like the Venom Groot, but coming so soon on the heels of just the Groot, I'll probably skip it unless it goes on sale for a good price. The Spider-Man set is very busy, but I want the mini-figs so I'll probably grab it assuming reviews are decent. And yet another unique Iron Man in rather terrible overpriced Hulkbuster (at least it's not terrible and $350!)...I'll probably grab this to add the Iron Man to the hall of armour!

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

I can't decide if it is lazy or brilliant to use almost the exact same build for the head of lady Liberty as the Apocalypseburg set.

Also the Endgame battle set is one of the best looking Vignettes I have ever seen from Lego.

Gravatar

@Ridgeheart said:

In honesty, that Iron Man really is amazing. So yeah, I guess I'll be adding yet another Hulkbuster to the pile.

I do love the No Way Home-set. Nice to get a good Willem Dafoe-face, nice to see Alfred Molino get another minifig so soon after Satipo. Great characters all-round, except for... Hand-Man? Wow, that's rough. I'm so sorry, Thomas Haden Church.

@Lee_Fogel said:
"I'm sure LEGO has their reasons for a smaller one."

Smaller figures are a lot cheaper to produce, but I also think they're going for some retro-vibes here. Thanos' first ever appearance in the comics was as some random villain-of-the-week for Iron Man, and he was barely taller or bigger than Tony Stark at the time.

Here's OG-Thanos (bonus: look for OG-Drax, because why not?): https://pyxis.nymag.com/v1/imgs/e59/7a6/a603145edfc6dcc0c786983130ecc8d20a-10-jim-starlin-iron-man.2x.w710.jpg"

OG Thanos wore no pants?

Gravatar
By in Brazil,

Human sized Thanos is not the real Thanos, just saying.
Though the venomized Groot looks amazing just like in the comics.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Green Goblin is too bright and is the only villain here without any leg printing, and while the pumpkin bomb is functional, it also looks too simplistic. The Spider-Men could have used additional printing but it's at least good they all have dual-molded legs and honestly the track record of printed Spider-Man arms lately hasn't been very good so it's an okay compromise. Inaccuracies in Ned, MJ, and Strange's minifigs are honestly excusable considering they're not the focal point of the scene, but for $110 it's not unreasonable to wish for better. Let's be honest, the set is basically a Spider-Man movie battle pack with a side of supporting characters on a display base, so it will sell anyway.

Yes, Lego goes to that well a lot, but I think it's great that the kiddies are getting their own Hulkbuster in 76263. I also think it's funny that that one has bigfig hands.

Venomized Groot is terrifyingly cute. And a WAY better deal than the other one. Looks like LEGO learned a lesson there.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Love that big fig Thanos is back and fingers crossed we might get The Hulk again soon.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

When I first saw the Spider-Man set, I literally thought it was a set mock-up. Can't believe they finally released it. However, I'm disappointed by the lack of Lizard, one of the last remaining Spidey villains that haven't been seen in LEGO form yet. Also disappointed by the Green Goblin and Doc Ock figures, plus Ned and MJ aren't really needed when Lizard is completely absent. I love all three Spider-Men though, and I'm certain this will sell like hotcakes even at that price. Still debating whether I should get it or not.

Otherwise, Venomised Groot looks much better than the previous version: I kind of hope this becomes a regular series. I also kind of like the Endgame final battle (even though that scene itself is one of the most forced and eye-rolling moments in the MCU in my opinion), but we've seen so many Endgame final battles at this point that this isn't really needed. Maybe expand on the AoU or Infinity War final battles for once? Also, all the figures are available elsewhere with really minor changes at most. I do like the diorama build though

No comment on yet another Hulkbuster, except for the excellent Iron Man. Why does he have extra printing and not Green Goblin?

Gravatar
By in United States,

Are those long curved clear w/stud elements new in the Spidey Showdown set?

Gravatar
By in United States,

To everyone complaining about the new Hulkbuster, might I remind you that this means there are now mech cockpit elements in some shade of red (even if it's not the correct shade).

Gravatar
By in United Arab Emirates,

Hahaha, even the Junior Hulkbuster is giving itself thumbs down in the official pics!

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

That groot... why? It feels like a jab at people who thought the original was creepy.

The NWH set looks amazing. Not many functions, but I like the emphasis on display for once because it doesn't get too bloated in size. That said, a full range of sets might have been nicer although of course the scene wouldn't have been as complete. I especially like that Do Ock's arms are built like the 2004 version! Yes!!!!

Oh and... why do we get a NWH set a yesr after the film? Did something change in the release schedule?

The endgame set... nice for people who like those minifigs. And I like that it at least opens up a bit. But visually it's not great despite some clear effort. The background wasn't the focus of the scene so they had to work with very little.

The hulkbuster might have been nice as a small-sized offering but not at that price!

One more thing. I just want to repeat that I don't like how many 'sub wave' set reveals we constantly get, Lego! Just reveal everything for a longer period again already. This is tiring

Gravatar
By in Germany,

What do we want? HULKBUSTER!
When do we want it? EVERY YEAR!

The rest looks pretty awesome though, especially the two dioramas. Much cooler than the ugly, rectangular SW diorama collection sets. Even the box art and age rating is appropriate. But 105€ is ridiculous.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

It's about time Lego did a Matryoshka doll for Iron Man Hulkbusters.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Unpopular opinion, but I think Venom (and Carnage) are two of the most over-hyped Marvel characters, specifically in trading cards and comic covers. I hope this isn't the start of a run of Venomized characters.

Marvel is typically guarded about movie spoilers. Lego got the concept art, however, Marvel wanted to keep the three spidermen a secret so Lego didn't know until the movie's release. Lego not knowing scenes until the movie releases means that the entire design timeline began after the movie.

Gravatar
By in Norway,

I don`t care for the minifigures, but the build looks great!! Lots of potensial.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Holy balony those prices though. Sorry to be yet another poster complaining about it, but those dioromas don't look comparable to 100 euro stuff from even the last two years! The Galaxy Explorer would look huge next to those! And I get that a portion of that price goes to minifigs... but by that much? The NWH set doesn't even have a bigfig!

And I don't care about how many pieces they crammed into those. 1x1s do not a valuable model make.

In all fairness they might look better in person but as it stands they look like 70-80 at most in terms of size. Especially the NWH set.

Avengers Endgame would have been a ten second action sequence with the credits rolling right after had there been squirrels involved.

The Mad Titan would have been carried away by an army of rodents, while Doreen would be figuring out how to get back to her programming homework in time to finish it before it was due the next day. Pure comics accuracy, just as intended!
