I've no particular opinion about the minifigs either way, but these builds are inspiring!

In the old days, I'd be worried that meant he was a chase/rare figure. Lego seems to have been good for the last few series though with having equal numbers per box.

Pretty cool, pretty weird

@GrizBe:
I’d be okay with that this time if it means all three X-Men are stupid common.

By in Sweden,

That's just awesome!

Love the shower curtain build..

Gravatar
By in United States,

Should be the standard for these going forward,it's awesome.

By in United Kingdom,

Those are so cute! I'm loving the hair-cutting scene. Hope LEGO keep this up for later CMF releases.

I wonder why they didn’t keep both Hawkeyes together…

Pizza dog!

…is Storm lighting the candle on the cake with her lightning bolts?

Goliath been missing is for all the conspiracy thinkers a sign that there would have been a Kang minifig that is replaced by Goliath last minute.

And maybe Hank can bring a coffee pot into the bathroom next. Who brings a microscope into the bathroom? I mean, seriously >_<

Getting good use out of the Vidiyo albums, I see!

Is the dog winking or does he/she only have one working eye?

Only the one eye

Gravatar
By in United States,

You can tell these were designed/built by members of the fan community due to the overabundance of Vidiyo tiles from deeply discounted Beatboxes that we're all desperately trying to find uses for...

Gravatar
By in United States,

The hair on Wolvie's arms... I was going to skip him because I have plenty of him, but now I know I must have *this* one.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I like Echo's new prosthetic! I still only want Kate, Hawkeye, and Moon Knight, but it's a good part nonetheless. These images are indeed rather inspiring!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Love these images! Hope to see advertising like this for future CMF series as well. These minifigures are so detailed - I thought Echo just had a dual molded leg, but it's a whole new prosthetic mold!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Well this is certainly an interesting way to showcase them. I like it!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Suprised to see the vidiyo tiles being used.

Wow. Now that is a straight-up blast of nostalgia! I must admit I only played that one after finding it within the superb (Maniac Mansion II:) Day of the Tentacle but played the heck out of it with frequently tragic determination. Thanks for the memories, AP!

This is as good a time as any to wish for a LucasArts CMF series. It's Disney now, so there's a chance, right...?

Jokes on you. Those Vidiyo tiles were one of my motivations for GETTING the sets!

Edit:
Also, so many great minifig parts that I want duplicates of, even though I have no ideas what I'd do with them yet!

Gravatar
By in Germany,

Finally a nice way to showcase LEGO minifigures instead of the unnatural lifestyle pics. I wished LEGO would go back to doing this for play-sets as well, like they used to do it for CITY, Castle, etc.

Gravatar
By in United States,

@Huw, the database minifig image for Agatha Harkness is incorrectly showing the complete series group image.

Now you have me wanting a Lucasarts CMF. Would love maniac mansion/day of the tentacle, and of course Guybrush Threepwood, mighty pirate!

To quote fellow Bricksetter @PurpleDave, needs more Batman. Why did LEGO do this for Marvel and not the DC CMF series? I like the idea behind this.

I have no interest in the figures, but where is that Hit the Spot pizza box from?

The pizza box is one of the accessories for Kate.

It definitely seems more and more like it. There’s no reason to not include Goliath otherwise.

I do, too.

But, it looks like that could be some illegal (gasp) part usage. That headlight brick (RIP ETD) looks like it's creating too much stress on its neighbor.

The tiny Ant Man is in the Hawkeye photo. I think whoever designed these just wasn't inspired to include Goliath. They honestly may have just been made by a LEGO designer for fun, seen by an intern, and had photos grabbed for social media.

Besides, if there was a "chase" figure, they would market it.

By in Netherlands,

In my diorama scene, I can’t be having Beast fighting with that look in his face! That better be a double expression head.

It needs NO Batman. AT ALL. DC has so many other characters of which LEGO can make minifigs.
The Metal Men, Metamorpho, Metallo, Amazo (the original preferred, the JL/JLU cartoon version is okay, too) the original Firestorm, the original Black Lightning, JSA members, LSH members, Guy Gardner and members from each Lantern Corp., Space Cabbie and Roxy Rocket. Even Flamewing and Nightbird would be cool. Anything but Batman.

Do you mean the one holding the vertical rod next to where the left end of the shower curtain rod attaches? I see nothing illegal going on. I see 3x 1x1 bricks in a row, which isn’t great design work. The curtain rod is pulling on the one it’s plugged into, due to the forced bend and the overall length of the curtain rod (which should probably be longer). It’s pressing against the next brick, which caused all three to rotate out of alignment, but only as much as the tolerances allow. I can think of two ways they could have prevented this. There’s a new 1x2 brick w/ single hollow stud on one side, which wouldn’t be able to rotate at all when the shower curtain rod is bent into position. The headlight brick would have to move over to where the 1x1 brick is located, which would leave enough gap to swap other 1x1 for a 1x2. Alternately, if the shower curtain rod went into a 1x1 with studs on both sides, and the 1x1 to the right had a single hollow stud on the back, there’s now a 1x3 Tic-Tac plate that could tie those two parts together, and the shower curtain rod could be pushed all the way through to anchor it better.
