Bricklist notes: The markets wanted a fox done similarly to 31150 Wild Safari Animals, and I was glad to take on the challenge. The main differentiators between this and 31150 are its clearer color blocking, its "fur" texture, and its sit-to-stand poseability-- which proved difficult to incorporate successfully. I'm especially pleased with the polished B & C models here.

It was a refreshing change of pace to work on these adorable little planters-- I especially loved getting to design the pilea plant and work towards such smooth, rounded shapes in the planters. As a team, we tried out so many different pot colors and facial expressions before settling on the ones you see in the final product.

Bricklist notes: This animal proved to be a huge engineering challenge, due to horses' top-heavy anatomy and our desire for the horse to be able to stand with one foreleg up in an iconic way. The solution we settled on was to include a detachable display stand, which allows for the horse to stand in a foolproof way, as well as rear on its hind legs. Despite the difficulty during the process here, I am happy with the model's sleek coat, beautiful colors, and facial expression!

Bricklist notes: It was a treat to design my first Creator "Art & Design" set! I inherited a strong sketch model from Irma, which had been additionally optimized by Morty (who I have to credit with both the genius rotary dial mechanism, and the "pagoda plate" sticky note corner, both of my favorite details of the model). I'm proud of the nice hang-up function, the slick body, and how the "C Model" makes not just one, but two 2000s cell phones.

Bricklist notes: As a longtime fan of Star Wars, it was a pleasure and a privilege to work on my first LEGO Star Wars set! Getting to recreate such an iconic character as Darth Vader--one of my favorites!--was an added bonus. I'm proud of how shiny the outer helmet ends up being, made up as it is of a combination of LEGO bow and dome elements, as well as the overall expression in this compressed scale.

Bricklist notes: For the first time, we decided to create a 3-in-1 experience centered around a single animal: the lion! I had a lot of fun working on this model, especially when it came to engineering challenges like bearing the weight of the mane, incorporating the opening mouth while keeping the lion expressive, and optimizing the build to make a x2 buildup of the lion cubs possible.

Bricklist notes: It was a fun design exercise to return to the world of wild canines after designing on 31154 Forest Animals: Red Fox. I set myself the challenge to make this model the next step in LEGO Creator animals' evolution, with novelty elements for the eyes and nose, revisited points of articulation, a cleaner sculpt, and a more refined building experience across all three models.
