Marvel Advent Calendar - Day 22

Day 21 presented yet another table, lacking any apparent connection with Marvel and therefore preserving the standard we have sadly come to expect from this Advent Calendar.
Hopefully the final three days finish on a high...
Wong emerges today. Although arguably not the most natural choice to include in this calendar, especially given the presence of Loki's throne without Loki, this is an appealing minifigure. The figure has only appeared previously in 76218 Sanctum Sanctorum and 76269 Avengers Tower, so will doubtless be new to many, which is a bonus.
Moreover, the decoration on Wong's torso is intricate and I like the colourful bands around his waist in particular, while the cheerful expression suits the festive season. Ideally, details would continue onto the legs for greater accuracy to Wong's onscreen attire, but that is not something I would expect to be introduced in an Advent Calendar.
Rather than his usual Tao Mandalas, this version of Wong comes with the Tesseract, which is represented by a trans-light blue Minecraft head. The same piece has been used a few times before and I think it works well, despite being massively oversized. After all, the same can be said for many minifigure accessories.
Overall - I am pleased with this minifigure, but there was perhaps an opportunity to provide a more prominent character instead.

Maybe the Marvel calendar was so terrible that it actually broke the site?
I have no idea who this would be. Maye someone from the League of assassins, given Ra's Al Ghul earlier?
Not feeling this one. W've seen many versions of this character before (most notably in the A-tower) and with the unprinted pants and lack of a headpiece I can't help but feel that it's for penny pinching reasons.
I mean, given the previous fig he does compliment previous stuff from the calender.
But come on, we get a bald figure!
Madisynn minifigure next?
I feel that Dr Strange, Wong are Okoye are misplaced in this calendar. Had they only had some festively thermed clothing -or at least accessories (what about an energy shield with a festive print for one of the wizards?).. But no.
And for yesterday's (21) build, I was presented with a xmas table printed on the flap, while the actual set inside was a reprise of the workbench from day 12, so a packing error to boot here, then.. Jeez. Worst calendar ever?

Given that Wong never really appears in Avengers Tower, or has anything to do with the Tesseract do we think this was actually at some point supposed to be a Loki? Both are more appropriate to him, and it would explain the Loki-styled throne we got a few days back
Did they accidentally make a few million Wong torsos too many? So that they’re offloading them everywhere they can?

I think the overall theme of the discord involving this calendar is a lack of cohesive theming.
Do we know the designer of this set and their past work? I don’t intend to rag on their work but I’d like to know if there is more to why this calendar reached the low it did with fans.

Omg, my 9 year old kid opened this case and he found Day 16 throne instead of the minifigure...
What a mess. Looking at the shop for replacement it seems not possible as the minifigure parts are not available...
This is so lame, having a kig crying in the morning.
With adult eyes, the value for money isn't there at all, so please Lego get the quality checks done!

Call the phone number and explain it. They should be able to send you a replacement of the whole bag, from what others have told me.
