Looks like a decent wave. I am not, and have never been a big city fan but I do occasionally pick up some of the smaller sets. The burger van and Go-karts are for me. Probably the race car and truck too.

The police and fire sets look really nice too, the police car set gives major speed champions 6 wide vibes

The prison island ain't alcatraz,it the prison on fire Island in siberia.( forgot the name.)

The fire station looks very modern and refreshing, it would definitely stand out among previous fire stations LEGO has made.

I also like the design of that police truck.

These are great little sets. The guy running away from the dog in handcuffs is great, but my favourite is the woman on the right about to dive into shark infested waters armed with a spoon! Just glorious!

I'm fairly sure it's a cochlear implant. It's hard to tell for certain but it looks like it from the picture.

All these sets look amazing, city sets have been lacking for me for the past few years so I'm very impressed by these

Is the chain link element in the prison island set new?

In the Emergency Rescue Helicopter set it took me a second to realize that the guy was not a terrorist threatening to blow something up with a stick of dynamite, but was instead someone holding a flare to signal for help.

Certainly makes a change, I quite like how the crime lab is a bit different to the previous mobile police centres. I’d quite like to see a surveillance van listening into a gangsters base or something though, that’d be a fresh thing. Not that I’ll probably get anymore city sets for now, collected way too many throughout childhood.

It's funny. 3 prioners are the crook at the other sets. Or scenes. They are all caught by police and transfered to the Prion Island !!!.

Ooh I like the prison island. If I was still a kid I would play day and night with it. It goes on my want, but not need list. I also like the fire station and some of the smaller sets with cars (but I almost never buy them, because I love 4wide cars too much)

These are awesome. a lot different to previous city waves. my favourite is 60419 prison island but i also like: 60400, 60401, 60404, 60411, 60412

That 4+ race car actually looks really good! My favorite is definitely the Go kart racers. I'm disappointed they introducing more animal entry level sets like the otters or seals, but they still have some good sets. Overall their cars and trucks look exceptional this year! No more robber red, and as another commenter pointed out, they are almost 6 wide speed champions. The new fire station looks pretty neat as well! We also have a neon yellow motorcycle helmet which is cool, even if I hate the color. In addition, the racing torsos look fantastic!

I'm a big fan of that rescue helicopter.

Looks like the snowboarder in 60403 will fall outside the narrow ramp. A similar thing happened to the Olympic skateboarder Skye Brown several years ago. The skate ramp she fell outside was wider, but much taller. She could have been killed.

Lego "City"? Seems like friends has much more of a city vibe these days.

Some of these designs are starting to slip into a little futuristic ‘World City’-esque design for my liking.

Still, glad to see some great sets like the burger truck and sailboat, and *checks notes* actual car doors on the fire van!

Apparently Lego City citizens can't cook if 60410 and 60412 are any indication!

The Burger Van definitely exceeded my expectations, I wonder if that's the new Medium Brown color and it looks like the Minifigure has a new hair mould with some kind of neural implant? Excited to see more views of all these sets!

60411 looks like a Playmobil set

Happy to see cab doors making a return to many of the vehicles. I like the vibe of the Burger Van. Also like the looks of the Emergency Rescue Helicopter... reminds me a lot of a BK117. The Fire Rescue Plane has way too many molded parts for my liking (an issue of mine since TLG moved away from 4-wide plane bodies)... should be in the Juniors line, IMO.

Just when we were getting steady use of the rolling door, they throw this fire station at us??!? While the aerial truck looks nice (despite the heavy European design cues), the station doors make me think we're sliding back to the cheap looking sets of the early 2000 dark ages.

best City theme wave ever !!

60411 looks a remake of a 2007 or 2008 fire heli. Like all of this new sets and SNOT rock stairs on Alcalegotraz!! But only two buildings so far. City theme looks more like Motorcity nowadays. But already making wishlist. Please make them affordable :D

The Fire Rescue Plane (actually a water bomber, but I guess Lego has an aversion to the word "bomber") reminds me of the Boeing YC-14 with its engine location, pretty cool.

The number of fire sets has been joked about many times in the past, but I've suddenly come to a revelation: fire is Lego City's religion. The reason there are so many fires in Lego City that need to be put out is that they're basically personal attempts at worship that get out of hand. The fire departments are more like a combination of mobile emergency confessionals and inquisitors, dispatched on site to help guide the citizens towards proper worship, but always keeping an eye out for heretical pyromaniacs.

Note the concrete basin that comes with the fire station: it's a holy fire pit sitting in front of the station, which is as much a church as an emergency response station.

Dang, that fire station is next level!

I'm surprised there's no Reddish Orange pieces in these sets. Awesome chicken fence pieces for 1 x 4 x 6 door frames. Lots of exiting new sets for young kids, I'm always surprised how the designers keep reinventing the same themes and can come up with new designs that are even more striking than previous ones. I thought I could put some of my Police & Fire Brigade stuff from 15 yrs ago up for sale as Police will always be Police in some shade of blue, and the fire brigade in red, but those trucks and stations are now officially put to shame. These are so mich more awesome!

That was one of the first sets that caught my eye in this line up. Looks like the station from Futurama (which I'm sure was modeled after an old fire station).
