10328 Bouquet of Roses revealed
Posted by Huw,Here's a press release for another addition to the popular botanical collection:
10328 Bouquet of Roses
822 pieces, rated 18+
£54.99 / €59.99 / $59.99
Available from January 1st 2024 at LEGO.com
Today, the LEGO Group revealed a timeless classic to the LEGO Botanical Collection: LEGO Icons Bouquet of Roses.
A joy to build, this LEGO radiant bouquet depicts a dozen red roses – including four in full bloom, four blooming and four in bud – plus a scattering of small white flowers. Place the floral bunch in your favourite vase for a touch of elegant home decor that brightens any room, whether displayed at home or in the office.
10328 Bouquet of Roses is a thoughtful gift, either as an indulgent present to yourself or as a treat to a loved one to celebrate a special occasion. The building process has been designed to be enjoyable and easy: the set comes with separate instructions for the three flowering stages, making it perfect for a mindful solo project or great as a bonding group activity with friends and family.
10328 Bouquet of Roses joins 10329 Tiny Plants, which was also recently added to the Botanical Collection. The building set contains nine tiny plants, each from an arid, tropical and even carnivorous species, that are nestled in its own terracotta coloured plant pot. A great gift for gardening fans and plant lovers, this set is the perfect project to enjoy with friends and family, with different models for easy, medium and advanced builders.
What’s more, there is also a digital version of the building instructions available in the LEGO Builder app. Here, you can also discover a space for relaxation with the inspiring range of LEGO creative building projects designed specifically for adults. These have been introduced after finding 80% of adults are actively seeking new ways to unwind, with the vast majority (87%) adding that play helps them relax and feel calm (Play Well Study 2022 research).
The new LEGO Icons Bouquet of Roses will be available from January 1, 2024.

Those whips in the center of some of the roses are genius.
Looks really nice but repetitive, I guess.
Too tacky for me. If they had done a mixed color bouquet I might have considered it, but this this is skewing too much into bad taste territory for what I can tolerate.
hmm, looks quite a bit better close up or far off than I could have imagined!
A dozen red roses, out in time for Valentine's Day! Nice!
I'm glad that they varied up the sizes/builds of these roses to keep them from being TOO repetitive.
Can I help you?
Yeah can I have a dozen red roses please?
Oh hi Johnny, I didn't know it was you. here you go.
That's me
That'll be $20
Here you go keep the change. Hi doggy!

YOU'RE A LION, I KNOW THEY HIT YOU
I know what I am buying for valentine next year! (for myself)
Those renders are hilarious. The parts look like mirrors
I'm starting to sense that the Floral line is replacing the Art line.
The Botanical line never disappoints, and here’s another good example.
My wife's reception of 10314 was better than expected since it was so detailed and actually did match everything we cooked for Thanksgiving. I wouldn't risk this one for Valentine's Day though, at least not without a real dozen to pair with it.
Thanks to this set my SO will have roses once and for all :D
I am looking forward for a life-sized Christmas tree for next year
Good thing they're red, otherwise 71038-7 would have to order the designers' heads off!
Love the NPU with the Indy whips in red.

Red roses are tacky and in bad taste? Huh. And here I thought they were kind of traditional and classic…

Oooh, they could do one of those clever Creator palette swaps and rerelease these in October as black roses.
An upgrade to 40460-1
This is a great improvement over the last iteration of roses. I like seeing the stages of the flowers opening. Although I'll like to the ability to have them all in a single stage of my choice. The filler flower looks to be baby's breath, which is a common filler used to roses. I think caspia is a more common filter, but maybe hard to get the look right. Plus I think the flower stinks, commonly compared to cat urine.
What Lego has gotten right yet are the greens. Most floral arrangements start with a base of greenery. Leather leave being the most common. It some dimension that isn't there. The trouble of getting this right are the stem sizes. Greens, particularly leather leave, have very small stems when compared to rose stems.
I honestly don't care for this set, or these botanical sets in general. The only thing I want to know: Do the digital instructions come with an appropriate soundtrack?

Very nice. I would prefer this in light pink, purple, and white for my wife though. Sadly, this is about the same price as a live flower bouquet around Valentine's Day.
For the Lego guy lookin' for a date!
This will win the ladies over for sure!

Oh hi Mark :)
Already planned for my missus
No way! I’ll definitely have to get these for my mom she loves the flower sets just she never purchase them herself this one although is a must have!
My only criticism is that I feel very strongly that it should have been a half-dozen in a set. I get that a dozen is the default number of roses to give, but I have to pass at $60 when it would have been an instant buy at $30. It's a more giftable package this way, but less satisfying as a set.
Magnificent.
Looks great. I bought a bunch of copies of the 40460 Roses to build a bouquet, but this one looks better with the variation in the rose design.
Will definitely get one of two to offer the Mrs.

What is this?
I'm surprised the press release ignored a benefit these have over the real thing: thorns that aren't sharp!

I want some reeeddd roses, for a bluuuee lady, Mr Florist take my order please....
These are cool. I already have enough Lego flowers around so might pass. Hopefully it's not too expensive in AUD.
I wish Lego would leave out the BS marketing thing trying to use some 'sciency stuff' to make a set somehow have a benefit. I miss the days when they just released a cool set and showed us the features...

Yes. Lego marketing is just the worst... in soooo many ways. The perfect example of insipid, vapid smarm.
Also, they collectively have no knowledge of what a dictionary is or does.

En d'r dressoir met LEGO-rozen.
Everlasting roses! LEGO 10328 Roses and an Attar of Roses perfume spray. Sense-able idea...
I've just talked myself into buying them!
Looks great, a day one purchase. Guess I just have to buy yet another vase to display them in!
Given this line's popularity, any bets on how quickly these become backordered after release?

depending how many make... but valentines day hmm
definately by feb. sold out..
thinking backorder within few days?
Am I the only one who thinks it'd be cute to put these in a vase, and then dump a bunch of trans-clear 1x1 rounds around the stems?
@labronco2: But these will last a lot longer than a live bouquet, and don't need to be kept in water.

I didn't get the reference either at first, but now that I have, it's tearing me apart, Lisa!
Very nice and realistic-looking. The best designs as far as Lego roses go. I only wish they varied the iconic & classy red color scheme with dark red and maybe white.

If there's one thing Lego is not known for, it's not being comfortable to step on.

After looking on Bricklink yesterday, these should be doable in dark red, white, black, and possibly yellowish orange depending which shell piece is on the medium and small ones.
