When did that puffer jacket piece happen? And i NEED that dual moulded crow piece!

What is the story behind the ravens stealing things?

By in Germany,

The real stars are the nightmare versions of the protagonists (and that awesome bird). As for the set it's bildable animal, buildable animal and buildable animal. Fits well with the already existing buildable animals in the Dreamzz lineup. Too bad I don't care about buildable
animals. Ok, ok, I'm not the target audience, but isn't that a bit one-sided?

Yes.

@johleth Ravens, crows and magpies love stealing things in real life, too, therefore using them here seems like a reasonable choice. As for the reason why they do that, I imagine it's because they're smart and curious animals and all that human stuff is interesting to them. But ask a zoologist to be sure. You can consult Mr. Internet.

By in United States,

I love these!!!

The cat bike will pair perfectly with Zian, and it looks pretty sizeable for $20. And getting the new version of Zoey in a cheaper set is welcome!

Finally we see the Season 2 version of Izzie, and she looks really cool! Also I like how there's 3 different full builds for this set rather than just the base model and then two add-ons.

I'm so glad that the Never Witch is now more affordable! And again, 3 DIFFERENT BUILDS!!! I especially love the evil Z-Blob, which just looks so awesome.

As a Dreamzzz fan, all of these are definite buys for me!

Red panda!!

By in Ireland,

First non-leaked pictures of the red panda that will be in the City sets too. I like it a lot.

Really like some of these, especially everything that comes in 71481 but especially especially that Groot-looking big-headed figure.

I guess it's called D-Blob

Gravatar
By in United States,

Meh. Too many tubes. Almost constraction.

Will get at 50%+ off, maybe.

Panda, of course, is cool.

I do have an intense Poe need for the raven in solid colors. I have a bunch of the small CMF ravens. But, they are... Nevermore!!

Gravatar
By in Belgium,

Man, DREAMZzz is really knocking it out of the park... the creativity on display since wave 1 is fantastic, both in terms of models and minifigures.

I don't remember feeling that childlike excitement from a new theme in forever... Maybe Atlantis...

Still curious about that whole glass-case schtick. And why the raven is contractually required to appear in every set this wave.

Gravatar
By in Latvia,

I don't really care too much about the sets, but I must have that raven and red panda!

Don't be shitty. Ok, maybe dump it on 'em.

By in United Kingdom,

TLG is really panda-ing to us furries recently!

Gravatar
By in United States,

I like the Never Witch figure in 71483, especially that new lower piece.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

So clearly Izzie was dreaming about baby Groot and Rocket Raccoon.

I've never before been tempted to buy multiple copies of the same set, but the Nightmare Creatures set looks so cool, and I can't make up my mind whether I love the wolf or the gigantic crow more.

Izzie's Dream Creatures looks pretty outstanding as well.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Really like the colorful hybrid/mashup creatures thing this theme has going on and I can see it going for a long while. Getting 3 build options in some sets is really nice. That cat motorcycle and the evil Z-Blob mech are my favorite here.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

The motorcycle blue tires: are they made of rubber or plastic?

Gravatar
By in France,

Gonna be real, that puffer vest is veering too close to Playmobil for me. The more and more "detailed" little additions Lego gets, the less and less it looks like Lego.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

Cool stuff, love to see smaller sets for this wave and all the builds look excellent. Is that a nightmare version of 71454 Z-Blob the Robot?

Gravatar
By in United States,

As noted previously, I need that vest. And now red panda?! I hope that these DREAMZzz last forever.

Gravatar
By in United States,

The cat bike reminds me of the legendary pokemon from the Scarlet and Violet series!

Gravatar
By in United States,

These look amazzzing.

Gravatar
By in United States,

At first I didn't like this Theme, but it is really growing on me. Great parts!!!

Gravatar
By in United States,

71483 is an easy purchase for me, has some of the best figures for a lower price, and I love the evil Z-Blob build, might have that fighting with the original one.

Also, beyond these 3 more just got revealed, pics are up over on Rebrickable at the moment!

Gravatar
By in United States,

OMG, these look fantastic! I particularly like the alt builds of the latter two sets, they're so varied and interesting!

Gravatar
By in Puerto Rico,

I like them but, I want that fix and raven pieces.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Since no one else has mentioned it... is that working bow and arrow not new??? I can't remember ever having seen it before. Absolutely fantastic regardless, that's been due for ~20 years.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

On the Lego shop page there are also 71486 , an Escher castle with a flying lion-ish (looking very good) as well as 71480 Logan the mighty panda - which seems expensive for not that many parts.

The working bow was introduced in Avatar, 75577, and is also in Dreamzzz 71476.

$30 (U.S.) for 342 pieces.

Cat motorcycle is seriously super sleek.

Gravatar

minifigure scale red panda

I'm so happy I think I might cry

Gravatar

RED PANDA! I can't wait to see that in the Lego City Jungle sets soon!

Update: according to the new Dreamzzz Season 2 trailer, the glass cases are supposed to be the dreamers' memories, which the ravens steal so that the Never Witch can create the evil Dreamchaser clones we see. Makes me wonder what the deeper plan behind it is...

Ah ok, thank you!

Gravatar
By in Poland,

I thought those macaroni pieces are cool, but they are really bad pieces that just look awkward.

Gravatar
By in United States,

So much of DreamZzz is perfect for DnD! The outfits, creatures, and Dreamlings. I just built a modular grid and dungeon section for Dnd. Ended up using so many parts from DreamZzz, specifically the Sandman's tower and Dreaming village. Can't wait for these creature sets!

Gravatar
By in United States,

So does the brown poo character come with that shovel to clean themselves up?

Red panda and raven molds are very nifty.

Rubber, but the tyres are not removable from the plastic wheel hubs. They were introduced in Spike Prime sets: https://brickset.com/parts/design-65834"

Thanks! Interesting part, like the pink tyres of the the retro roller skate and grey in 42178

Hey, what’s with the life-preserver!? Fantastic sets and minifigures. I’m really rooting for Dreamzzz to hang around for a long long time. I think Lego are in for the long-haul!

Dork thinks he's gonna drown!

The sets are a little meh, but the minifigs look outstanding, and that crow must be mine. Once upon a midnight dreary and all that..

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Reminds me a lot of the elves theme with all of these animal builds.

Dreamzzz's sets never cease to impress!

Me, a non-Dreamzz fan: They're not my thing, but these look alright.

Also me: RED PANDA!!!!!!

It's officially called Doom-blob, which doesn't make any sense... D-blob would be so much better

Aa a Z-Blob fan I definitely agree. Also in the Castle Nocturnia set, Madteo is actually holding a small Doom-Blob piece!

But the one in 71477 just had standard, albeit printed, minifig legs. This figure replaces the legs with a new piece.

I don't think anything is replaced. Looks like that smoke piece or whatever it's supposed to be simply has a slot where she's standing, using her standard minifig legs.

The mold isn't actually new here—it's been used in Ninjago and Hidden Side before. It's definitely a very fun piece, though, standing taller than the old "ghost trail" piece and allowing figs to use it in addition to legs rather than instead of them.

Gravatar
By in United States,

@Lyichir: I don't have any of the Ninjago sets that use it, and 40336 is the only Hidden Side set I own, but it is good to know that such a cool-looking piece isn't limited to one set.

Yup! Previously it has appeared in four two-color blends overall:

Black and Trans. Light Blue in 70437
Bright Yellowish Green and Trans. Bright Green in 76174
Earth Blue and Trans. Light Blue in 71754 and 71755
And most recently, Flame Yellowish Orange and Trans. Light Blue in 71477

Now we can add Black and Trans. Medium Reddish Violet to the list, in 71478, 71483, and 71486!

Gravatar
By in United States,

@Lyichir: I already somewhat wanted 76174, largely because of the Mysterio figure, but I guess I didn't pay close enough attention to it.
