Can I get a yee haw for that cowboy droid?
I don't care one bit for starwars but those accessories look great and I love the concept of a Mr Potato-ish set
L0-LA59 Is way too big, they should have went with a 1x1 round tile
These (and Threepio) are the droids I'm looking for.
Now this is where the fun begins
This is AMAZING!!!! I'm a grown-ass man and I can't wait to get this and tinker with them. This is precisely the kind of Creator style Star Wars sets we need to help promote creativity and imagination. Anyone remember the pod racing bucket 7159 ?? I'd love to see more creative sets like this with the parts to make starfighters or dioramas.
Only thing missing is the ability to make BD droids!
Day one purchase for me!!!
Okay I was not sold on this until I saw the accessories and now I kinda love it. The proportions are weird but I guess they kind of fit the upscaled minifig concept rather than scale models.
Cowboy Chopper is fun but true fans know they should have gone with British Chopper.
No R2-Q5? No R4-P17? No R5-D4?
Seriously?
Basically LEGO emulating Mr Potato Head... I'm kind of vibing with it! I think I'd rather save up for the buildable R2 though. That has a much more desirable figure.
Lego SW Dots? Hmmm... I dunno. I'm going to have to think about this.

Yee-haw!!
Of COURSE they gave the droid voiced by Dave Filoni a cowboy hat
Droids! Need! HATS!
I love the silly premise of this set, too bad the price seems high for the amount of stuff that you get :/
If it was 80€ or less, maybe I would consider purchasing it
Among Us crewmate vibes. Rather splendid.
I have mixed feelings about this. Seems overly whimsical for a Star Wars set, and not a lot of the droids are executed the best.
But then again, some whimsy can be fun every once in a while. And we finally have the buildable Choppenheimer we've always wanted!

Too bad there's no Wolfpack shirt. Boy would I kill for a printed Wolfpack logo tile - or any LEGO Wolfpack stuff, for that matter.
Strongly evokes memories of that Kenner Droid Factory I got back in Xmas 1979 :)
Thought we were going to get a nod to R2-KT...but this is ideal.
1186 pieces...not bad...almost read that as "1138", which would have been a nice little Easter Egg :)
Haha, I kinda like this! The recent "Rebuild the galaxy" sets seemed just weird to me, and for most more the "cash grab" kind of weird than the "creative" kind. But this, I'm all for it. And despite not bing the biggest Star Wars fan, I can totally see myself buying it.
I guess these would be a quite bit too small next to the big C-3PO? That's a bit of a missed opportunity...
I'm sure in the Skywalker Saga (No Way Toojay) game there were some droids with attitude in that. I imagine this is probably were the idea came from.

Pretty sure the buildable C-3PO has 1138 pieces.
Overall I think this set is quite bad. I'm not against more silly or whimsical sets and the idea of a SW creator-esque parts pack is nice, but these droids look terrible and the accessories are nonsensical. It helps that I have no desire to get a young Leia minifigure from that terrible Kenobi show so this set is an easy pass, at least that's good for my wallet.
Think its clear from the plain builds that these were designed to be dressed up as the shapes just don't seem right without an accessory attached.
Do rather like the set and the idea behind it though. Just can't see it having what'd be considered a reasonable price when its over a 1000 parts.
This is one to wait for a 50% off sale, the piece they printed lola on was an odd choice
This is easily the best thing to come out of Lego Star Wars.

"Interested in pricing. Dissapointed this isnt the set with the new pink astromech minifig.
May get this if the price is right.."
It's on the Lego website for Pre-Order already, £89.99
We still don't have a Geonosian Arena and yet we got this... heartbreaking.

You mean the droid with the most illegible swear words and the highest body count of all Star Wars droids?
Right on!

Came here to say exactly this! I'm actually relieved the exclusive minifig didn't turn out better, so I can pass on this purchase. It looks like a lot of fun for kids, though!

Bah. Let the kids have all the whimsy they want with their space-wizard monks and quirky droids. They can wait 'til they get older to become jaded and self-restricting about the things they enjoy.
Try as I can, I can not see there are nearly 1200 pieces in there. As such, I cannot comprehend the 90 pounds price (which means about CAD$150).
I do not (regularly) buy SW sets because once you start you're done (and might as well double mortgage your house). So, I may be not the target audience but I really like the Mr Potato concept. I was expecting something like CAD$50-60. Ah well, no biggie, I'll leave that to the hardcore fans. Like it though, maybe if there is a very large discount...
It’s a very cool idea, but how are there over 1100 bricks in there? This needs to be half the size and half the price. Seriously, are these droids made exclusively of 1x1 plates?
I'm surprised they gave Leia Lola, but they didn't give Cal BD-1.
Great idea for child the star wars fans out there. Would make a great Xmas present if you have that kind of money to spend on this.

Came to the comments specifically to find a reference to the Kenner Droid Factory; I knew someone else would note the similarity :-D
Chopper with the cowboy hat is giving Dave Filoni vibes! I’m here for it! This set isn’t my cup of tea, but it looks great! It’s good to see some more creative and colorful builds from Star Wars sets!
Too pointless and too expensive.
In the US this set is exclusive to Target and is available for preorder as of this morning:

Exactly two kinds of comments about this set:
1. It's ridiculous! (complimentary)
2. It's ridiculous! (derogatory)
THIS is how we get a young Leia minifigure? C'mon! I know her appearing in the Obi-Wan miniseries was a surprise, but there should've been some good toys that included her. There hasn't even been an action figure made of young Leia.
Ash Ketchum Hat?
I really just want the Leia minifig.
I'm not an expert, is this canonical star wars?
Seeing in the LEGO Shop US as a pre-order for $99.99

If it were cheaper, I'd be sorely tempted, but I haven't gotten 75379, so I'll save my brick-built droid money for that.

Like with 75390.

Although the Cowboy chopper is probably based on Dave Filoni, who voices him and always wears cowboy hats.
Hmmm...no poll to vote on this ... "No, it's too expensive"
Getting quite a few Dots vibes because of all those 1x1 pieces.
Happy for all who like this kind of set. I'll pass.
I assume a lot of the "missing" parts count is all those accessories. I'm curious how many pieces each "base build" actually uses.
If nothing else, it'd be nice to see all the "extra" parts in one image (loose or in builds).
Silly, I'll pass.
...but I'm all in favor of shifting SW back toward the parody realm. It's time ;)

"Ash Ketchum Hat?"
The designers were probably going for a generic ballcap, but sure looks like Ash's original cap.
$99....LOL
“Hey, Lego! Pimp my droid!”
