I thought we don't talk about Bruno.... so why is he in the set?

You are the one bringing up Bruno now

By in Sweden,

Hodgepodge of Disney.

By in Ireland,

You missed an opportunity for a competition. Best blurb for the set (as judged by brickset readers) wins something or other e.g. a copy of this set.

By in United States,

Oh. That's a really simple solution to the mouth problem.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Now we need a Beast bigfig.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'm observing that Mickey doesn't actually have a mouth and now I'm even more horrified by this thing.

By in United Kingdom,

Day 1 purchase for me, I've been waiting so long for that Belle minifig (my no1 disney film, and my daughter is named after her)
Also happy to see Lilo and Geppeto now available to accompany thier co-stars from the CMF.

Smart move using the friends mold for Simba, he wouldn't look right using the minifig lion cub mold

By in United Kingdom,

I don't really love this, it's not really attractive enough for a display piece but it's definitely not a playset. Not one I'll be picking up.

Gravatar
By in Russian Federation,

It looks sloppy.

I'm not the target audience, but I appreciate all of the design effort that went into this.

Prizes usually aren't a deterrent.

By in Netherlands,

Not a set I have interest in (except for those brooms!), and Mickey looks creepy AF, but when compared to the Wednesday dorm room set, this seems like an amazing deal. What happened to the Disney tax?

Gravatar
By in United States,

I wonder if @huw and the Brickset team keep track of average poll answers and percentages?

Gravatar
By in Portugal,

Who's the green guy?

Gravatar
By in United States,

I can't believe how *inferior* Mickey is in the final product, compared to the original submission. The original was *very good*, but the final version has extremely clunky sleeves, abstract fingers, less detail on the brim of the hat, *no mouth* (what's up with that?), and--to top it off--crossed eyes!

"This will be the third time we have revealed The Magic of Disney, and we have become exceedingly efficient at it."

By in Japan,

I'm a Disney fan but even this is pushing it,it looks like it was all put together by an 11 year old and i do like the minifigs (but Bruno is an incredibly random last-addition which almost seems like an in-joke). But the more i look at it the more it grows on me a little (like mould). Will see how it fares over time but i need a whole lot more magic than this 'magic' ??

By in United States,

Looks like no stickers?

By in United States,

I love the minifigure selection, but the rest of the set just doesn't do it for me. Mickey looks creepy, and the only side-build I really like is the Pride Rock one.

Still, it's always good to see new Disney minifigures!

By in United States,

I selected "No, but I like it" in the poll, mainly for two reasons. First, I like the Belle vignette, and second, Lilo as a minifig! I really hope she doesn't end up too expensive on Bricklink, but I have a feeling that she will.

The minidolls don't talk about him because he's the only minifig.

Yes, just click on "View results" after you've submitted your answer.

No, I meant for all surveys on all press releases. It could be interesting to see how people's opinion of 18+ sets changes over time.

By in Sweden,

Should’ve had 100% more ”Atlantis” vignettes, the movies presented are 50% meh.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Not a Disney fan at all, but I think as an homage to the House of Mouse this is quite impressive and does a lot with its 1100 bricks

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Can't we just have a Magic Mickey with brooms battlepack? I'd buy that....

The original looks twice the size. Would anyone prefer this set at twice the size, twice the price and same selection of figures and vignettes?

There was definitely an article at the end of last year on the correlation between the polls and the actual sets owned/wanted by Brickset users

By in United States,

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Cinderella should be here. Swap out a couple others.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

No pixar IPs? I mean, everyone here definitely deserves a spot, but seriously?

Still a good set, but not for me.

By in Brazil,

I love it. I was not very excited with the fan design but this looks amazing.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Interesting set. Not my thing but I do like the mini-scenes. The Mickey is too big. Should have just been a part of another mini-scene.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Even as one who has no desire for display piece dust collectors, I can acknowledge that most of them at least look semi decent. This set, however looks like a jumbled mess. Also what is going on with that face? Mickey does not look well...

Gravatar
By in United States,

I like the vignettes, but not the giant statue of Mickey. Bruno being a minifigure rather than a minidoll is odd, but I love its detail. Doubt I'll actually buy it (would require too much redesigning to make something I'd actually display) but I might Bricklink the minifigures.

Five Nights at Mickeys! ... Looks as creepy as the clown pool at The Boardwalk Resort in Orlando.
