Friends Advent Calendar - Day 19

Paisley and Olly are all prepared for Santa's visit - they've written their wish lists, mailed them to Santa, presumably made Mrs. Claus' list, and they've made cookies for Santa when he visits next week. What other preparations lie behind Door 19?
This is certainly not a direction I was expecting! Today's builds are two very comfy chairs. I love the number of bricks included in today's door, and I love that we have two chairs today, not just one.
However, while it certainly belongs in the scene, and gives two minidolls a place to sit, there's not much in the way of festiveness in this build.

Well the only thing that minidolls can do with this is stand up. Sideways.
Nice furniture. Not functional. Not festive.
The amount of mundane furniture seems to have ramped up in these last few days for some reason. Still very generous compared to some other calenders...

I believe the Olly and Paisley micro dolls can face forward on those 1X2 jump plates, but they WILL be standing up on upholstered furniture…they are going to be reprimanded.
Two of them? Means with just a little work you could make a double-decker couch…

One the one hand, a red chair and a green chair would have been more festive. On the other hand, who themes their furniture (which will be visible year-round) around an event that only happens once a year? )Although I did once know a woman who loved Christmas so much she kept her tree up year-round.) On the gripping hand, red and green go well together, so you could do worse than those colors if you wanted chairs in two different colors, you could do worse.

I've only watched the movie once. Is it something that's reproduced in 21330? If so, I don't see it.

The entire house is packed with Christmas decor, including the wallpaper. Kevin also wears white the first day, red the second, and green the third. They do hint at it with the set, by including the wreaths and runners that border the top and sides when you open the panels on the front, but the level of Christmas decor in the film goes way beyond what can be captured in such a small scale.

Does Bricklink count that as a minifig? If so, there's always the improbable chance of RMotD. If not, there's still the also improbable chance of RSotD. Ooh, what about the infinitely improbable chance that they'd both come up on the same day?

Quick, someone calculate how improbable it is that an actor who, to the best I can determine, never appeared in any of Addams’ work, would get picked for both RSotD and RMotD on the same day! I could really use a free trip to Hawaii right about now…
