Friends Advent Calendar - Day 23

Posted by ,

There's finally a Christmas tree to place in Paisley's house, though it's a bit of a disappointment that there aren't any decorations. It's still nice to see festive decorations for Paisley's family home. Let's see what we have for the next to the last day of the calendar.

This makes sense! We have two brightly (very, very, very brightly) wrapped presents for under the tree.

It looks like Paisley, Emma, and Olly have been very good this year, as those presents are almost as large as the tree!

Yeah, a box full of high visibility vests. That kind of present will make the kids happy ;-)

Radioactive waste for you and searing heat for you.

Those Friends designers and their love for vibrant coral and highlighter yellow. This jut reminds me of that 41744 sports center that used all bright colors including white and light azure. This looks even less balanced. I think these wouldn't have looked as gaudy if they at least didn't pair them with white. Dark colors can be used to balance bright ones, you know?

I like that the tree gets (oversized) presents... but the colors man. And I say that as someone who likes the brightness of themes like Dreamzzz.

Next year, do we get functioning corneas?

@PurpleDave, regarding yesterday: yes, the cone in 40712 had a sticker (I don't know about the others), but it was a small sticker on a broad cone. A 2x2x2 cone would be near impossible to get a sticker to lay flat on, if you wanted the design to go all the way around.
