Spider-Man Advent Calendar - Day 2
Posted by CapnRex101,
It is probably not surprising that the Spider-Man Advent Calendar began with Spider-Man himself on day one, so I expect some accessories for the hero today.
Let's swing into action and see...
The standard selection of web accessories does indeed appear on day two. I never like seeing these as their own item because minifigure accessories should be packaged with the character, although I can see how that would be difficult with these. After all, they come in quite a large bag and there is not much space inside the Advent Calendar window.
Regardless, the variety of web elements are useful accessories and the spare parts from day one mean you could build a second accessory holder for Spider-Man's hands.
Overall - I wish these web elements were supplied with the minifigure yesterday, but they are decent accessories.

Wouldn't be a Marvel advent calendar without this kind of rubbish.
This year I only went for the Friends and City calendars and haven'd been disappointed so far.
Foam dumbells, AGAIN!!
Spidey needs a better workout regimen.
I stopped getting Shanghaied by Marvel last year. Won't ever make the mistake of buying this AC again.
I hate this set of accessories. Too thick, too unnatural.
Same as last year's Day 4. But now in W H I T E
WOooooooooooooooooooW
At least the golden ones from last year were a more Christmassy colour and could be decorations or mini-trees. These are just the same old same old
So…tomorrow the web-ons rack?

Look at his arm printing. He has NEGATIVE biceps.
Web dumbbells? That is just weird.
WOW, Day 2 and already we're hitting depressing lows with the Marvel calendar.
"Don't get your hopes up" is a wonderful message to kick off the holiday season.
A 9 piece accessory bag is different to a single SW blaster. It is understandable why they wouldn't do a minifig and so many accessories for just one day.
Wow, I sure I do like a bunch of webs... yay

If I remember the piece correctly, both ends will accept a minifig hand, so they're supposed to represent Spidey webbing up a crook's hands.

Or other fun things. We shouldn't judge.
For my kids I've bought the City, Disney Princess & Spider-Man advent calendars, thankfully my Spidey obsessed daughter was engrossed on the iPad at the time the other 2 wanted to open the Day 2 window as she wasn't focused on this disappointment..
Surely they could include the different web elements with different days at a time instead or with Spider-Man..
The other 2 kids at least got a mini build to enjoy..

"Spidey be like:
"Why did I agree to do this stupid calendar? I have a degree in Chemical Engineering!""
And now I have that song running through my head. For those who don't know what I'm talking about: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BRQ_gjeFMRA
@Yergs:
The whole pack of webs is treated as _one_ element. You either get the whole pack, or you get nothing. They don’t split the pieces up.
Well, sometimes they do. But only when they’re retiring the original multipart mold and either producing new accessory packs (I think this has happened with Clone Trooper/Mandalorian helmet accessories), or planning to start making some of the components as single elements (the Batman pack got reduced from five different items to the standard batarang and a semi-auto pistol).
