Spider-Man Advent Calendar - Day 11

Posted by ,

As we near the halfway stage of this Spider-Man Advent Calendar, it seems we have finally moved from outdoor scenery to items for inside, such as yesterday's drum kit.

I anticipate something similar today...

A catapult appeared in the Friends Advent Calendar yesterday and another arrives in the Spider-Man calendar today. I am never a huge fan of these kinds of items, although they do offer some play value and I like the presents ready to be launched, featuring the distinctive colours of Miles Morales and Spider-Gwen.

Overall - This catapult is pretty underwhelming, but at least the wrapped gifts fit the Spider-Man theme.

Spider-Man’s getting in on the fight, too! The Great Advent War has just begun!

An ice castle...'s seige catapult.

Better late than never, right?

A certain Lego Youtuber mentioned that the catapult's colors are evocative of the Sandman. It might help if this had been more hand-shaped to suggest that this is a person who's taken on catapult form.

I like the friends free toilet paper catapult one better in my opinion.

The Star Wars calendar refuses to be beaten at its own game.

I know! Imagine if this had been yesterday's build. That would've been awesome!

There's definitely lazy redundancy this year.

I think the New Republic knows that, with their absolute fleet of spaceships, they have no need to participate in petty conflicts such as this.

They didn't start the war, but they'll finish it.

I think it may be a subtle reference to sandman
