Images of three upcoming Star Wars sets have been revealed by Smyths Toys France, ahead of their expected release in January.

Perhaps most interesting among them is 75401 Ahsoka's Jedi Interceptor from the fifth season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, while the midi-scale 75405 Home One Starcruiser is also very exciting, finally recreating the entire Rebel flagship in LEGO form.

View images of these and a 4+ rendition of Din Djarin's N-1 Starfighter after the break...

Finally, the Home One!

Gravatar
By in France,

Why did they change the cockpit design of the Interceptor? The single molded piece used in the previous versions looked amazing. The new cockpit has more parts and is less accurate... And charging $45 is just theft, the precious one was sold at $30 and there hasn’t been a 50% inflation rate between 2020 and 2025

By in United States,

Is this the first R5-D4 in ten years?!

By in United States,

Some 4+ sets can be surprisingly good:
the 4+ X-wing from 2019
the 4+ TIE fighter from 2019
the 4+ Benny spaceship from 2019
the 4+ snowspeeder from 2021
the 4+ City spaceship from 2024

This 4+ Naboo fighter is surprisingly bad. It might just be the worst 4+ spaceship ever IMO.

The Eta-2 Jedi Interceptor design has needed a refresh for a long time, but this ain't it. Instead of introducing a new windscreen element with a sliiightly different shape than the old one and sending the price through the roof, they should have made a smaller, more scale-accurate Eta-2 and dropped the price to $20. The City spaceship 60430 from 2024 shows that they can do a good spaceship at that price.

By in Netherlands,

Is that supposed to be the medical frigate with Home One?

Home One looks quite nice, I like the Nebulon-B side build

Gravatar
By in Brazil,

CW Season 3 Ahsoka and Anakin. A must have, on a sale.

Gravatar
By in United States,

That interceptor looks way better than I was imagining! And the Home One too, for that!

Gravatar
By in United States,

That would be the 5th season of Clone Wars, I believe.

Also, Home One at this scale... Not impressing me. The bulbous nature of the thing has not been properly captured imo. That's a ship that I think really needed a UCS treatment instead of something small like this. This scale works amazingly for things like Grievous' flagship but not everything

By in United States,

Yikes - new cockpit design is not it, though I commend them for trying. I also didn't think we needed to change the original one (it's classic, at this point). Nice to have the front glass go with the cockpit though, so I see some benefits to this new design. It's too bulbous in the back, and very immediately so. I'm liking the look of the fixed wings, though, and there appear to be some improvements to structure overall. The greebling across the body leaves a bit to be desired, feels less patterned and more messy. I feel like the earlier models from the 2010s got it a bit more correct, but I could be recalling incorrectly. Minifigures look nice as well - it's somewhat funny a regular jedi Anakin Skywalker would be an exciting minifigure to see, given how many sets had him during my heyday with the franchise. $45 is an insane price, and I will be waiting for the inevitable discounts. $30 or below would do nicely. Not a fan of these price increases, and they certainly aren't justified. LEGO adjusting for constant profits as per usual.

Not my thing, but I do like the Home One. Midi scale is probably best we'll get - the structure is a rough one to build. The 4+ set is not really a concern for me, but looks like a nice minifig pack for those interested.

Definitely excited to see more pictures turn up soon - if rumors are to be believed, there's a few nice ones in the pipeline I'm excited to see. Particularly in May...

The new windscreen for the Eta-2 is somehow less accurate.... How LEGO? How?

Lots of people will love coming home two the home one being on their shelf.

Another oversized Jedi interceptor...

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'm glad they are making another set with R7-A7. The older rendition has gotten pricey at around $40 on Bricklink.

Ahsoka's Jedi Interceptor looks incredible!! So excited to be getting another of Ahsoka's Clone Wars ships! (Missed out on her original starfighter)
The new early Clone Wars Ahsoka herself looks great, love her new face prints and her outfit. I also like how it looks like her torso is the same print released in 2013, just dark red instead of brown . The new coloring looks better! The mid size legs look ok. Was hoping LEGO would reuse their old lekku and montrals head piece for Ahsoka but considering that piece they may no longer have, using the newer "live action" one looks nice especially with the printing.

Overall I'm excited for this, new ship, new Ahsoka, new R7-A7, plus Anakin!

Gravatar
By in Israel,

I don't know if the frown/serious expression fits CW Anakin, I think they should have given him a smirk for one of his faces.

Gravatar
By in Sweden,

The Starship Collection must be the most overprized sets ever when it comes to cost vs perceived value-ratio, unbeliavable that anyone pays that kind of money for them, boggles the mind.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I think it's universally agreed that the N-1 starfighter is one of the worst Star Wars sets ever.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Ahhh, it's by no means a good looking set, but Mando's N1 feels wonderfully retro early lego SW (think 7180), must be the boxy studded grey lumpiness of it and those chunky cannon pieces

Gravatar
By in United States,

I wanted so badly to defend the 4+ N-1 Starfighter. I was the only person who was actually willing to give it a chance. But seeing pictures of it... it's just absolute garbage. The engines are way to small, and the cockpit piece they chose just looks awful.

The Home One is incredibly disappointing as well. For $70, I was expecting something more substantial. But this? This should've been $50 at most. At $60 people would've already been complaining about the price, but $70? Nuh-uh. Easy pass.

Ahsoka's Jedi Interceptor looks pretty good. I don't hate the new cockpit piece, but I might want to see it in person to make an accurate judgement. I also love the minifigure selection - Anakin without a headset or Sith eyes, a modern version of S4-S5 Ahsoka, and our first R7-A7 in 15 years! But the price... man, $45 dollars is just a scam. $35 is where I draw the line in the sand. 75388 is already overpriced, but somehow, this has FIFTEEN LESS PIECES for FIVE DOLLARS MORE!!!

Also I made a video discussing these in case you wanted to check it out: https://youtu.be/1zeMrwzvvAo
Though it's pretty much just recapping everything I said here.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Lego Star Wars puts out as many duds as they do great sets now. Seriously, what is that? A grey dog turd on a stick?

Gravatar
By in United States,

I like that the full R2 unit can fit inside the Interceptor . . . was never a fan of just the head piece attachment.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I really like Ahsoka's Jedi Interceptor, but not at that ridiculous price.

While I've liked previous 4+ Star Wars sets, I don't feel like this really does the ship justice. But at least we get a new R5-D4 out of it!

I'm not really a fan of the midi starships, so this was never going to be for me.

I agree that smaller Eta-2 models would be welcome, but I expect the main obstacle to that is keeping the full Astromech droid in its socket without the wing becoming fragile. Personally, I would be happy with simply attaching the head to the wing and having the droid's body off to the side, but I can see why that might not be preferable for play.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I own 75038 and seeing 75401 I’m quite happy not purchasing a new interceptor. However, I will probably be getting the Home One, although I don’t think it’s as good or iconic as 75356 it still would be a good companion display set.

I do not recognize them...

Gravatar

Ahsoka is back. I love her fighter. Or probably I love her :)

Gravatar
By in United States,

Can anyone well-versed answer if this cockpit design is more accurate to Ashoka’s in TCW? Otherwise I can’t see why they’d throw out the original mold

Gravatar
By in United States,

Had my doubts about them accomplishing Home One's lumpiness. I guess it looks pretty good if you know the source material well, otherwise it probably looks like a bad attempt at something more rounded.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Detaching the head of the astromech is a perfectly acceptable solution for the Delta 7B fighters, I think we could go back to that for these too to make them less unreasonably bulky. Glad they made this fighter for Ahsoka though it's being sold at a roughly 80 percent markup!

Gravatar
By in Austria,

meh. Home One looks fine but I won't buy any of these. I agree that the old Interceptor Cockpit piece was superior. Luckily I have several of those in reserve, picked them up on Bricklink when they were quite cheap (like 20 cents apiece)

Gravatar
By in Japan,

We placing bets on how opaque that white is going to be on the Jedi Starfigther cockpit? lol.

Gravatar
By in United States,

The only one that interests me is the Interceptor. But those prices... I'm saving up for a PS5 and Lego is definitely not speeding up the process.
I feel like Star Wars sets are getting less effort.

I'm a bit confused by the 4+ sets. Do 5-yr olds watch The Mandalorian?

Gravatar
By in Czechia,

AH HOME 1 I NEED THAT

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

This is a historic moment: the first time Lego makes a set depicting the exterior of the Home 1!

Of course, this event should in no way trivialize or overshadow the greatness of 7754, the internior-only version from 2009.

My kids were 3 and 4 when we watched season one. They enjoyed season two, as well, then lost interest.

I honestly am fine with the original cockpit piece, I have obi wan's interceptor from 2016, but I do like the new little fin piece that is on either side of he cockpit, but that still doesn't justify the price.

And I also have that city spaceship you mentioned, and it is a very good design, prob better than some star wars sets of this year, let's hope the arc 170 is done well

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'm actually a littlectempted to get 75410. Sure, it'll be expensive (like almost all 4+ sets), and sure, it's juniorized, but it's still cheaper than 75325, and it comes with the Darksaber.

Technically the front glass isint supposed to open with the top, you can see it in rots when obi wan and Ani crash into the invisible hand and they jump out of the starfighters

I … can‘t believe it … finally … a Home One! Though Midi-scale, I can‘t NOT buy this … if only to desparately show Lego how much I want Mon Calamari ships.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Hey, Sky Guy.

Love Ahsoka's fighter. Hate the blind eyes. Too bad we couldn't get arm printing and side leg printing for the ultimate padawan Ahsoka- especially at this price. Moreover, this set commemorates her last flight as a Jedi. It would have been great to get a clearly definitive rendition of her character before she leaves the order.

Reserving judgment about the new cockpit and its big butt. Lego graphic design is renowned for making their products look bad. Hopefully, this is the case. Yet, it seems too big compared with the ship in Season 5 Ep. 17. That one has a back end that tapers dramatically.

The Home One is mediocre, at best. I really wanted to like it more.

The prices are highway robbery greedflation. I refuse to get these even with a great GWP. I will eventually get them, but only on deep, deep, deep discount.

By in United States,

The price is not as bad as people say compared to the 2020 one. It's 8.5 dollars more adjusted for inflation. This is in return for a better Anikan (last one had burn marks and a pilot headset), a less common and more interesting astromech, and a 3rd figure. I personally would pay 5 dollars for this ahsoka and 3.5 to upgrade the astromech.

Compared to the jedi bobs, it's 5 dollars more for 1 extra figure (the gonk doesn't count).

Gravatar
By in United States,

The R7-A7 goes for around $40 on Bricklink. I wouldn't pay that much, but I would pay $10. So $35 for the other figures and the ship.
Jedi Bob's Starfighter was overpriced too, but I like it so I paid. A few extra dollars for a small ship is no big deal.

Gravatar
By in France,

Ashoka’s fighter for sure, instant day 1 purchase for me. Both for the model and minifigs. Home One...maybe, highly desirable as a SW fan, but the scale makes it a bit dull IMO. Not sure yet. Maybe later on discount or with VIP rewards. I'll see. Thanks for the report.
