neat! Love the grabber claw in the scrapyard set!
Glad to see another ambulance, we definitely don’t get enough medical sets.
I love that each car has a corresponding crushed cube.
All cars being so high just looks awkward.
The trash compactor is really cool!
But Im personaly a fan of the (not shown here) NEW WEIGHTED CHASIS for small cars.
I do Lego workshops and these will be great!
I like the proper winch on that “mountain truck”; is the hook a new piece?
60447 Nice but IMO the colours do not work well together. That said, easy to change the reddish orange for white.
60448 Fine, an inexpensive reasonably good looking car for impulse buys.
60451 Nice but back in the days, Lego did stretcher with foldable wheels - this stretcher is not nice.
60453 Don't really know what to compare it too. Looks alright and got everything for play on the beach. Opening sunroof is new!
60472 New concept. Looks interesting but need to see the compacting function - and the price...
Overall a nice start and not a police truck or fire department truck in sight, who would've thought?
Scrapyard set is a really nice idea. Happy to see a junkyard dog and a stack of tires!
The winch on 60447 is very nicely integrated into the frame, that should make it very good for play.
60448 is a nice solid little sports car, nothing special but not bad at all.
It looks like the side panels of 60451 open, which should be good for play.
60453 has an opening sunroof, which is something we haven't really seen since Town in the late nineties.
The 60472 scrapyard is a fun concept, but I mainly want to see pictures of the black car in a new state.

No, it is 30395 Hook with Tow Ball https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=30395
The scrapyard doesn't really look like a scrapyard to me
Car sunroof is back! Yes! Finally!
Sheep set still missing

The Scrapyard looks awesome, would have loved that as a kid. Ambulance also has a nice unusual color scheme.
Lego City continues to be the best modern theme
Scrapyard videos are very popular, for some reason. But they should have put some old looking cars, these look really nice. Maybe some 4-studs cars like the ones in 80's sets!
I won't get any of these, but these are all great sets!
Very rare to see new lego city sets leaked kinda early, but overall, I see all mustbuys! Absolute Peak!
Wow, that looks interesting!
That ambulance could do with some more sidewall. Anyone patient in it at the moment is in for a painfully bumpy ride!
FYI: The offroad truck uses the sunroof as a hood.
Woah, I checked and the stretcher wheels (4715) were discontinued in 2008?!!
I like how there is a beware of the dog sign on the gate of the scrapyard, even though the dog is a cute little puppy.
Looking in the background on the box art of the ambulance, you can see the rumoured City Donut Truck!
IMO this is a nice lineup so far for City next year
Scrap yard: looks impressive, offers something new.
Mountain Truck: looks cool with neat coloring and great accessories.
Sports Car: Always appreciate a small set, nice red color and enjoy the sponge and water bottle accessories (hoping their is a trunk to put em in!)
Lifeguard Truck: something new, interesting color, shark!
Emergency Ambulance: can never have enough ambulances, also enjoy the teal color
The scrapyard looks really interesting, probably the only one of these I'll pick up, depending of course on the price, I'm hoping for 70-80 USD
Take the black car of 60472, change the lateral grey stripes for yellow ones and you will get a 'close' city version of 8880!
I like the 60447 Off-Road Mountain Truck a lot... much nicer colour scheme than 40650.
Is that a 2x2 version of part 76797 in the ambulance?
Wish the scrapyard set just came with car elements so you could create your own car out of spare “parts”. Not sure why completed cars are in a “scrapyard”.
Why do these sets look like they where designed in 2006?
There is much more....

2006 rocks, don't knock it.
The scrapyard will be handy for all those ICE cars in my city that’s being replaced by EVs.

"NEW WEIGHTED CHASIS for small cars" what kind of chassis model is it??

There is 2x8 brick with two pinholes on sides. There are new wheels as well!
Sports car bumper is so high lol. I really like the 60285 car from a few years back.
The Mountain Offroader reminds me so much of the Mercedes Benz from Jurassic Park The Lost World. Similar colors and design. Cool car!

I spit my water out all over my keyboard when I read this, lol. Does LEGO still make any sets that qualify as "Impulse"?
The F1 cars are posted at Lego in the new set tab
If the minifig for 60440 had a mustache it could pass as an unofficial Magnum PI set.

Well, I hear you. Maybe not, but I consider any polybag as a potential 'impulse' buy. I hardly ever bought them before but now when I see one with an animal inside, I buy it. And (according to DollarTimes) today's $10 is roughly $2 in 1978 when the minifig started in earnest.
I 'impulse bought' sets for $300ish today (76435, 31150, 77049)* because the deals were good! (and we are not even yet at Black Friday)
* At regular prices, these sets cost USD$305. I paid the same amount but in CDN$. Considering the exchange rate, a very good deal! (USDCAD: 1.40)
The off Road Mountain Truck and Sports Car look pretty great. As soon as I saw the Scrapyard... My first thought was Catty Corner. Might actually pick it up depending on the price.
I love City and have dozens of sets, but I think these vehicles are too chunky and ultimately all of these sets are a pass. I give the Scrapyard credit for having a reasonable amount of play value, though. Looks like lots of things to twist, turn, pull, and move.

Agreed. When I heard the rumour I thought we'd get some rusty cars, ideally some older model cars (which I could build MOCs from), a doghouse with an aggressive bulldog, messy office, that sort of thing.
This is just lego's ripoff of hotwheels. Like why are they even crushing cars like that?? None of it makes sense.
Im surprised it doesnt come with a rugged ute or tow truck.
I don't necessity plan to get 60447, but I like the map tile the minifig is holding.

I assume you mean 60448?
Nice-looking sets all around. Definitely need the ambulance.

I love the Off-Road Mountain Truck! I wonder how much it’ll be…

If your Lego room is bigger than some people's apartments and you pay for all your purchases from a Youtube channel, I'd say so

"I don't particularly like cars.
Which means that I quite like that scrapyard!"
Crushing a car with a person in it is called 'MURDER!!'
They should at least provide a good amount of trans red pieces.
And, that cute lil' puppy ain't gonna scare anybody off. I want to break in that junkyard just so I can pet that adorable guy.
The Scrapyard's a cool set that may be greately enchansed just by dumping one's lego bricks behind it — the kids would love it, IMHO.
Also, is it me, or is skateboarding trending again? Esp. among parents? Past few years I've seen the enormous surge of skateboard schools for kids.
LEGO loves it's ambulances for sure lately.

60403 Emergency Ambulance (4+) 2024-2024
60451 Emergency Ambulance 2025 - ? ?
I prefer this new 2025 set .
Ok, I need that Scrapyard for my Factory MOC.

Ha! Yes. [glares sternly]
@Ridgeheart I'm with you. Cars and cities are antithetical to one another, so I try to keep cars out of my Lego city. In this format, however, I'm tempted. Cars crush people, now people can have their revenge!
I can’t say crusher without preceding it with Wesley or Beverly. I have issues.

Tiday's $5 polybags would probably have been $3 when I was a kid- say, 1980.
That $3 would be around $12 today. So: Lego is not more expensive now. There are many very expensive sets now, but you actually get more for your money these days.

Too right, I have to think about it before I even buy a CMF!
Could the map in 60447 be the continuation of the ones in this year's Jungle Exploration sets? :O

I remember getting sets like 6503 or 6506 for two dollars and change, back in the day.
