2025 Technic Ducati Panigale V4 S revealed
Posted by Huw,
The first of next year's Technic sets has been revealed by German retailer JB Spielwaren. 42202 Ducati Panigale V4 S is another version of one of the Italian motorcycle manufacturer's top-of-the-range models, following 42107 Ducati Panigale V4 R, released 4 years ago.
This one is to the same scale as other recent Technic bikes, 42159 Yamaha MT-10 SP and 42130 BMW M 1000 RR. The 1,600 piece set will cost €169.99 / $169.99 / c.£149.99 when released on January 1st.

I already have the Yamaha & the BMW. Keep it coming Lego, this is going to be a nice collection. There are enough other manufacturers to choose from.
Nice, but I'll settle with the smaller previous version. The Yamaha is still on my wishlist.

I’m with you. Have the first 2 looking great sat next to eachother on a shelf. A 3rd will look fantastic next to them
Looks nice, my only complaint would be the blue gear on the side.
I’m just glad that this is priced much more reasonably than the last two bikes at this scale. Looks decent, but already having the smaller version I may pass on it.
Wow! So much less expensive than the BMW and Yamaha, but same scale? Why is that?

I don't know, but I never complain when a set's cheaper than anticipated!
Doesn't Panigale mean "bread storm" in Latin or something?

Pretty sure that "~gale" has nothing to do with air movement. From "pan~" I would expect something like "all", from Greek.
But a google search reveals:
The name "Panigale" comes from the small manufacturing town of Borgo Panigale.
It looks great but I still think this new scale is larger than needed.
“Say…that’s a nice bike…”
Look, it's not a car!
This model looks very good. I agree in saying we need more large Technic motorbikes.

Thanks! This reference made me smile. Still one of the best action movies ever made! I’ve seen it countless times…
My 2025 budget may have to be expanded…
Ok Lego, it's not boring all-black like the last one, but you've done a Duc Panigale before. Have you run out of inspiration for licensed bikes already?

I didn't get the reference, what movie was that?

I've seen the movie, I just didn't remember the line. Anyway, the first motorcycle-related quote from that franchise that comes to mind is, "Give me your clothes, your boots, and your motorcycle."
