l kinda like them. l like the weird looking cars and the cool Ant Man

By in United States,

For me, 76311, even though I don't really collect LEGO Superheroes sets. The "NYPD" Crown Vic lookalike s easily one of LEGO's best police cruisers, and the grocery facade isn't bad, either.

Kind of wish LEGO had done the police cruiser as "PDLL" in reference to 4857 from 2004. Both were based on FDNY and NYPD units from the films, and LEGO definitely didn't need to stack another license.

Gravatar
By in Sweden,

76311 and 76314 look decent to me, would consider if the price is right or discounted.
The rest… yawn.

Gravatar
By in New Zealand,

Marvel seems to be getting better and better every year. Yes, the mechs are boring but you get great figures with them. The only bad set is the Venom car, which is like the millionth car in that same style.

Gravatar
By in New Zealand,

I can't be the only person who at first glance thought the 'PDNY' on the car said 'PONY'

Gravatar
By in Norway,

Omg, I’m not a big Marvel-fan, but the 76311 Miles Morales vs. the Spot is right up my ally with the cool car and Deli corner! And the 76313 MARVEL Logo is'nt bad either. Maybe as a billboard on a building?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Hope that Cap doesn't end up stuck exclusive to that dull logo.

Spiderverse set looks good, may wait and see if the rumoured Spiderverse Minifig series is true before getting though.

Airport is fine, though a little flat, and would have been nice to have War Machine, Vision and Clint.

That was also me. Pony cars.

By in United States,

SPIDERVERSE SETS! finally

Gravatar
By in Australia,

I like that the mech line is still doing strong, but I feel like this makes for Spiderman's 10th mech, or so. Does he keep losing them?

I like the trend of giving bad guy figures with them.

Gravatar
By in New Zealand,

I don't like the look of the logo with the figures sticking out. It looks very un-ascetically pleasing.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Like Captain America: Civil War Battle
all good

Gravatar
By in United States,

It's cool to finally get sets based specifically on the Spider-Verse movies, and I quite like the Marvel logo—it makes great use of newer slopes to get the shape right, and if my comics collection were more Marvel-focused that'd be a great display piece for that bookshelf. As it is I mostly don't collect licensed themes so probably won't need to get any of these.

Gravatar
By in New Zealand,

The Deli store build is very reminiscent of the very common corner stores known in NZ as a 'dairy'

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

76314 The use of flames by Wanda Maximoff looks weird

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Nothing that I would pick up. Marvel logo is interesting? Kind of...

Gravatar
By in United States,

So they couldn't fit Hawkeye in the logo. Only one non powered hero allowed.

Gravatar
By in United States,

This post reminds me that I still need to watch Into The Spiderverse

Gravatar
By in Russian Federation,

The minifigures are atrocious.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Only just realised, does Bucky no longer have arm printing?

Massive downgrade if so as the old ones of him did, and it's quite important detail!

Gravatar
By in United States,

The Venomobile isn't bad, but it could better, but I'm just spoiled by the Speed Champions sets lol
I'll probably get that set, but I'll need to sorta adjust and modify it a bit.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Poor Hawkeye.

Gravatar
By in United States,

76311 has a new piece attaching the light's tiles to the bar. Would probably work as a great way to angle eyes on some creature, or for use as a horizontal bank.

It's amazing. So is 'Across the...' which is where The Spot comes from. Looking forward to the next installment.

In New York City (like in this set) small grocery/convenience stores like this are commonly called "bodegas", named such by the Puerto Rican and Cuban immigrant communities who would commonly operate them.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Love that they've done a Spider-Verse set and I love the Spot minifig, but the Jefferson Davis torso isn't scene-accurate and the blue on Miles's suit looks weird even if it is technically accurate. The Gwen fig is fine but I was ok with the existing fig.

Interesting. Indians mostly run them over here.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

That marvel logo is just plain weird. I'd say it's not iconic enough, except at this point it might be to people.
But idk it feels like scraping the bottom of the barrel, especially when it features characters that haven't been relevant in the movies in years as if they represent all of Marvel...?

Gravatar
By in Austria,

How did they downgrade Bucky so hard lmao, not even for the iconic red star on the arm are Lego willing to add arm printing? It was already there in 2016!

Gravatar
By in United States,

The giant Ant Man in 76314 is intriguing.

I'll pick one up when it's on sale or if I can just part out the giant fig.

Gravatar
By in United States,

"Officer Jefferson."

I guess putting "Jefferson Davis" on a Lego box is awkward?

Can’t afford the gas. Do you know how little demand there is for newspaper photographers these days? Probably gets an annual pay reduction instead of a raise, with a “you’re welcome for not firing you” greeting card.

@Lyichir:
NYC also has delis, though. I would expect bodegas focus more on groceries in general, while delis would cover prepared sandwiches and sliced meats.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

The best set is easily the Spider-Verse one: great minifigures and the store build looks brilliant (apart from the stickers). The mechs aren't great but they do have Anti-Venom and a comic Ultron so at least they have something going for them.

Not a fan of the others though. The Venom car is inoffensive enough, just generic. However, I don't like how the Marvel sign looks with the minifigures surrounding it, and I expect it to be quite expensive for something I could easily build at home. And the Airport Battle looks so bad compared to the original: the Quinjet is way too small, the scene is awfully crowded and although I like the Ant-Man figure, I don't know why LEGO has stopped doing those Giant-Minifigure builds that generally fit in with other figures better. Even the minifigures are painfully generic, and why does Bucky have black hair?

Hope it's a printing error like for Hawkeye in the promotional shots for set 76291.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Getting 76311 is a canon event for me.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Looks like 76313 MARVEL Logo has some function on the back that makes the minifigs “pop out”. That makes for an intriguing set but there is one problem, or omission. They left out a hero. I’m sad that Hawkeye is missing. I’m a DC fan more, but I love Hawkeye (from the MCU). Sometimes I wonder if there are other Hawkeye fans out there. Why doesn’t he get more respect?

He’s not in the Civil War battle either. ;(

Gravatar
By in United States,

Really cool that they're doing a set for the Spider-Verse movies, but that near-front-on shot of the cop car is really reactivating my desire for LEGO to start making 5-wide windscreens for 6-wide cars.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I just love that the Venom Muscle Car is a 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona

Gravatar
By in United States,

Vision, Hawkeye, & Rhodes are the only characters missing from the Civil War set. (Ant-Man is absent as a minifigure but still very present!) That's fairly impressive. Still, I wonder if, like the No Way Home Final Battle, there will be an expansion set at a later date that includes the missing 3?

Imagine if it's another Tanker Truck

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

I only like to he figs of anti-venom and spot. The rest are just repeats. All builds are “meh” to me.

Waiting for the armoury set and galactus set.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I like all of these, even the mechs, though the Spider-Verse and Civil War sets are the stand-outs to me.

It's odd that Black Widow is popping out of the logo with the flying characters. I remember her doing quite the opposite in Endgame.

Gravatar
By in United States,

They seriously couldn’t even print Bucky’s arm or keep his hair color consistent? Things they had no problem doing back in 2016

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

I am very pleased with the Bodega set. It’s a great start to make a nice building out of it. I love the Spot and i have never thought that there would be a minifig of him (and then he appeared in the
movies). Miles and Gwen are meh, but probably on purpose meh, because they will be (i assume) in the cmf series and need to shine there.

The mechs are just more bricks to our bins and Ultron and Anti-Venom for in our collections.

The ever included Venom set. It’s a pretty good set, but i don’t really care for cars (i like the 4stud wides anyway). Julia Carpenter is cool to have though. You can add her to your Avengers roster as well.

I get that Lego is making big weird pricy sets for geeks, so enter Marvel logo set. The logo looks cool, but the figs are so bland and the pop out function looks so static and out of place that it annoys me. Plus, a Marvel Logo set deserves comic alterations, like the original comic Avengers and not mcu ones (and leave out characters). I think it has some easter eggs in the back or something with some puny 1x1 bricks to represent characters. They always do stuff like that.

The movie scene diorama is okay i guess. If you collected all those sets, this will fit good in that collection. I don’t mind the chibi quinjet, but the Winter Soldier is a bit weird with black hair and no red star on his arm.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

We made our own spot with a little bit of black paint when the movie came out - he looks exactly the same :)

Gravatar
By in Poland,

I like this police car.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Disappointed the ATM in 76311 can’t be easily split in half to represent it going through the different portal pieces. At least with the minifigs you could try and get their legs going into one and their torsos coming out the other

I guess it's already strange that he has the same name as the President of the Confederate States of America: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jefferson_Davis
"

He’s apparently officially Jefferson MORALES now in both the comics and the films. The creator claims to have been unaware of the name’s historical connotation.

No comments on the new Spider-Woman?

By in United States,

FINALLY a Spider-Verse set. Though I may what for a slight discount if the rumoured price is correct. we have already gotten so many Spider-Man and Iron Man Mechs. it would have been better if these Mechs were for the villains instead. As for the Marvel logo, why do they always leave my favorite Avenger out? Only this year did I finally get a Hawkeye figure.

Gravatar

Awful/10

Thanks for the heads up. I did not know that set existed. And it is currently 30% off. Going to buy one right now!

Another airport battle, really?

Gravatar
By in United States,

So after the mansion release…no new x-men sets??

The Spot set looks cool. Kid will want it to build up his town. I’ll probably pick up the airport battle on discount from Costco at some point.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Hopefully not the last Spider-Verse set we'll see! I need a Spider Noir minifig!

And just when I thought I was done with MCU Lego sets, that Civil War one might just drag me back in...

And I might need that Venom muscle car set for the Spider Woman minifig...dangit Lego, you know just how to suck me back in...unless the Disney tax is too high that is :P

Took me a second to remember what scenes you were talking about. But he'd not only need to be bigger, he'd need a point of articulation they've never done on these style of figures.

Gravatar
By in United States,

@TheOtherMike:
Nah. No articulation needed. You just need to build it at a different angle.

Gravatar

Absolute garbage not to see Hawkeye in either the Civil War set or the Marvel logo. He's my favorite of the original six Avengers and he's the ONLY ONE missing? Why, Lego???

I think so, although Gwen, Miles, and Spider-Ham have appeared in sets, but all three of those characters predate Into the Spider-Verse, although it's entirely possible that their inclusion in those sets was due to the movie's popularity.

This piece was seen connecting the legs of the shellwalker in the Horizon set recently revealed, I pointed that out in the reveal article. Can't wait for this piece to become readily available at pick-a-brick. Gonna be the most useful new piece since the minifig posing stands in the D.C. CMFs.

So… Hawkeye? Apparently TLG thinks it’s not weird having 5/6 original (cinematic) avengers. I disagree.
