By in Netherlands,

Man, Lego really keeps outdoing themselves with these amazing animal 3-in-1 sets!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Great new animal 3-in-1 selection. Especially like the Pandas as the polybag version is a bit too small. Keep the animals coming TLG...

Gravatar
By in Germany,

The Creator ones are definitely my favorites.
The sub doesn't look much like a Technic set to me, but I appreciate that it's not another car.

Gravatar
By in Greece,

The dragon/serpent/phoenix set is an absolute banger, much like the tiger, fox and giraffe sets before it. The Creator 3 in 1 line keeps releasing winners and is keeping my interest in Lego alive. Technic on the other hand...

Gravatar
By in Poland,

That Dragon will be a bestseller for sure

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Love the dragon, and donut van.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Why is Ras teaming up with the Ninja? I presume it is to stop the Dragonians, but I've only watched up to e4 of DR s2. They also seem to be fighting in 71826 .
I love the wings piece, but the masks just give them massive foreheads.
Also, WHAT THE FLIP has happened to Zane in 71834 ?!!!!!?????!!!!?!?!!
The Dreamzzz sets are INCREDIBLE tho, and the City racing sets are a really fun idea

Gravatar
By in Sweden,

The Ninjago sets look much more interesting than some of the previous waves as of recently. Even the 4+ temple looks alright with a good selection of figures

A few tempting city sets but not as strong as last year imo. I’m liking the smaller technic sets and the small z blob set looks fun too.

Creator is on a roll. Could do without another rabbit tho… even one of the alternate models is repeated

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I do like the Dragon.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Nice to see Wyldfire in a cheap set, also Pixel is back.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

As a big Penguin fan might need that panda set for the alt build

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Green Dragon looks good. So does the Panda

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I like the dragon but the phoenix build looks a little weak. It will be interesting to see how many parts go into that one, as all the green ones seem to have gone AWOL. I wonder what the design process behind that set was, shall we make a green dragon or a red dragon ...? I know, lets make a half and half one! No doubt the red wings were added for the sub-builds but I think the main model would have looked better done in all green.

By in Switzerland,

I hope Huw is very happy about the spelling of 60452’s set name (as it is written on the box, not in the database)! ;-)

Agree about the sub, but it at least appears to have 3 functions, which is about as many as a $300 supercar...

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

The creator 3-in-1 sets are excellent - really looking forward to those!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Not sold on the dragon’s mouth. The compromises caused by it being one stud wide make it look weird. The teeth are strangely arranged.

Also, I have niggling reservations about the ankles. The spindly ankles of 71822 Source Dragon of Motion didn’t look right at all for such a large dragon. This green dragon is smaller, so proportionally the ankles aren’t as implausibly narrow, but they’re borderline.

Gravatar
By in Sweden,

Nothing comes close to Ninjago minifigures, next level every year.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Love that donut truck.

Que the debate on whether it’s a Peugeot or a Citroen. Or maybe an American model…

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

The Creator team keep consistently hitting it out of the park, wave after wave. Love the look and size of that dragon, and as was pointed out (when it leaked) if you could swap the Chinese dragon head onto the main dragon build, you'd get a pretty awesome update to the classic/vintage dragon.

20-in-1 seems optimistic for those Dreamz sets, but my favourite of the city stuff has to be the soap box racer sets. Feels like the F1 stuff has perhaps dominated the rest of that themes budget.

As beloved as Ninjago seems to still be, I hope it doesn't live on eternally as feels like it takes up the space of any other potential action/'boys' theme for the foreseeable future...

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

What a great selection of 3in1s. I especially like the Dragon which looks properly finished, unlike last year's 31151 T. Rex which sadly looked as if the underbelly had been forgotten!

I was just thinking that. I don’t think there are all the parts to do it. I reckon you’d need to use a few pieces from the dragon’s body.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

FINALLY. The Lego pigeon we have all been asking for.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Begging the Creator designers to do another download-only 4 in 1 bonus model for 31161 that lets you build Ollie the Legoland dragon.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

31164 finally gives us Huwbot - kind of. OK, so the Clikits pieces are missing, but it's close I'd say.

Gravatar
By in Latvia,

On the Technic lineup - 42198 looks like there's barely any functions there. I see a bit of a gear peeking out above the cockpit, between the wings, so there's probably some knob to turn the propeller, but it's clearly not connected to the wheels. And no retractable landing gear. Bummer. On the other hand, after a year's interruption Monster Jam is back and finally with proper tires! But I will still be missing the B-models.

The Dreamzzz stuff is wacky and cool as always! I see Mateo sporting a great classic space inspired torso in 71487! And I love the helmets those mini baddies (?) are wearing.

Gravatar
By in Turkey,

Dragon looks amazing. I'll try to create the head, as a trophy on my castle wall :)))

Gravatar
By in Australia,

The animals are too irresistible. Penguins are my favourite animals so that's a must have.

Kind of disappointed by the City offerings though. 2024 might have just set the standard too high, but I love the expression on the mother in 60454

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I like Aeroplanes, I also like Beds, but which is better,
Theres only one way to find out.

60459.

Didn't notice that. Now, I really kind of want it.

Both bunnies = lame.

The dragon and panda are good.

I agree the Technic doesn't look like Technic. That's why I like it.

Gravatar
By in Ireland,

60462 really reminds me of Matchbox Connectables from the 90s, if anyone remembers them. They had the same gimmick of different detachable sections of vehicles that you could combine to make odd combinations.

Gravatar
By in Spain,

The dragon set is absolutely spectacular. I need it already.

Gravatar
By in United States,

That donut truck though :)

Gravatar
By in Poland,

This green dragon is beautiful. I'll be getting it for sure.

Gravatar
By in United States,

The dragon is almost perfect. Looks great, as well as the other Creator sets.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Holy s*** the Creator dragon! I'm gonna have to buy that one at some point. The Creator 3-in-1 lineup is incredible in general, so glad to see this theme have come so far, it's always been a favorite of mine.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Dragon + D&D CMF = absolute win for anyone who can't afford the D&D set.

Not having seen 21348 in person, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that 31161 is the better dragon of the two. Brick built wings >> cloth (or the plastic wing pieces in Ninjago)

Gravatar
By in United States,

Impressive dragon! Fantasy and Castle fans will practically be yeeting their credit cards at the LEGO store cashiers!

I hope we get more images of 71487 and 71488. According to rumors, they're supposed to be akin to those LEGO Classic brick boxes where you have enough parts to make any models you want. Which is something Dreamzzz honestly should've done from the beginning: it's a theme about being creative, so a brick box is the perfect product to go with it!

Gravatar

I haven't seen it in person either, but if it's $50 (a possibility based on the part count), for around $100 you could have two 6-packs of CMFs and a dragon. No buildings or landscape, but still really fun.

I do enjoy a good cloth bit (mostly for sails but also fell beast wings) but this does look fantastic.

Or it might be a callback to the original Castle dragon, which was green with red wings.

I have several green dragons out on display right now! They look good with all the original colors (red, black, trans neon orange). I definitely foresee "don't talk to me or my son again" posts with this and the OG.

I do have 21348 and have to disagree. While Cinderhowl from 21348 isn't very posable and suffers from appendages that are too heavy for its ball joints, it's otherwise superior to this 3-in-1 Green Dragon. It's bigger, looks more ferocious , and has more sensibly proportioned ankles. Also, I prefer cloth wings to purely brick-built ones (though I like moulded even more than cloth). That said, I probably will get the 3-in-1 dragon, but will wait for a discount or, if it becomes available at Argos, until I have accumulated more Nectar points.

By in United States,

No mention/upload of the Friends sets? JB Spielwaren has those too—and some of them are absolutely amazing!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I hope the Technic line up for 2025 improves, this years was very poor except, maybe for the McLaren, but then that's just another super car

Gravatar
By in United States,

That Creator dragon is a day one buy for me!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I like the dragon, but the rest of the animals freak me out.

My expensive list remains quite small and there are very few 2025 additions to my under £100 list.

Release images of the modular and that Ninjago modular that is typically rumoured for release on my birthday, please.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

That dragon is mytical.

Gravatar
By in Puerto Rico,

Donut truck.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Cracking up at 60458. "Your pizza's too spicy. That's a fire code violation."

@TheNameWasTaken: 42198 shouldn't have retractable landing gear, as that kind of plane almost never does. Bush planes are built to be sturdy, and the fewer moving parts there are in the landing gear, the more rugged and reliable said gear can be.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

60462 helicopter has some strong Airwolf vibes to me, except for not being entirely black.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

I want the Green Dragon!

Gravatar
By in United States,

City looks buck wild. And Technic finally giving some more variety, coupled with some fantastic Creator sets. I know what my priorities are in January.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Zane got beefed up!
Ninjago sets get better every year, I really need to get back to collecting it I think it's my favorite looking them that doesn't have insane prices!

Gravatar
By in United States,

I’ve said it a few times in the past, but to me the Creator 3-1 sets are the pinnacle of LEGO. The models always look great and really showcase the creativity of versatility of the bricks.

Gravatar
By in Taiwan,

Shouldn't that Donut truck do donuts instead of wheelies?

Quite like that Sub though, it's unlike anything we've ever seen yet.

Gravatar
By in New Zealand,

That donut truck is easily the best City vehicle we have had in years.

Gravatar
By in New Zealand,

I do love Ras and Arin's storm jet. It's a bit different to the usual mechs and dragons we get.

Yeah, I had hoped for a lot more out of the rumored submarine set. I really want them to add more non-car variety, but not sure this will end up being the one to show my support on.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Oh, hey, Pink-Haired Wheelchair Mechanic from 60389 has turned up again in 60460. Nice to see she's still in business.

Gravatar
By in United States,

So far, Digatron makes the third set with JCB sponsorship.

I wonder if it means we'll get a set based on JCB equipment? So far, in recent years, we've had Deere, CAT, Claas, Volvo, and the Insider Ferguson.

Gravatar
By in Poland,

Yeah, that dragon is spectacular.

I also like the pigeon. Perhaps, even more :---).

Gravatar
By in United States,

Oh my gosh I love 42201. I could totally see a technic figure fitting in there.

Looking at it, I think that one would only fit if you popped his legs off.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

I'm going to have buy two of the dragon set, so I can make the serpent & the phoenix.

The Creator animals and Space Robot are great, especially the Dragon, but I also really like the humour in the city "No Limits" with a toilet, hotdog, plane and hospital bed etc!
