Very standard but great wave. The Minecraft sets are consistently good and never TOO expensive

Minecraft sets have the most value for money out of all the licensed themes, although it doesn't mean they are the best sets.

Love the sets, only glaring thing is that the Trial Chambers (which are the latest and greatest update, and no, the Pale Garden is not great) are somewhat poorly represented in 21271. Especially with the lack of some sort of Trial Vault and Trial Keys, those are the big draw.

I don't collect or play Minecraft but those armadillos are very cute.

Alright I'm getting 21268 just for the wolf player skin

By in United Kingdom,

And yet I am unmoved. Others will be I'm sure, but I won't be adding these to my lists.

Question: will there be more skylines, or have they finished now? I hanging mine around 31203 and there's space left for a south American.

By in United States,

Finally, my favorite theme!

2 mob packs, which is amazing for collecting and they have great small terrain pieces for 10-15$ especially since the Strider and Pillagers are not the easiest to get.

Okay but fitting mob house builds at their price, with great exclusive mobs (brown mooshroom and finally Zombified Piglin!!).

Armadillo probably has the best natural build, very new mob, more cave spider, and new wolf print.

Trail Chambers needed something more pillar-like, but the new spawners are fun and frankly getting 2 Breezes so soon after their release if fantastic.

Overall, a very smaller set, mob-focused wave, which excluding bigger generated structure sets is the best you can ask for out of Minecraft. Love this wave.

By in Germany,

I often buy Minecraft sets at a discount, build them once, and then use them as parts packs, for which they are excellent. Have never played Minecraft, but just looking at pictures from the game it always seemed to me a match made in heaven for LEGO, since the game already looks as if it is made from LEGO bricks.

Illager battle pack,
And at proper battle pack prices, not whatever inflated price Star Wars tries to charge.

Neat, but STILL no buildable wolf :(
Please, LEGO, it's been years.

That armadillo is very very cute though :)

Even though I have no idea what the red thing in 21266 is (I haven't played Minecraft since my stroke more than five years ago), I want that set. I like that updated Blaze and I never managed to get a Wither Skeleton.

Sweet an Illager battlepack! Shame they still haven't gotten around to making an Evoker figure.

We've finally gotten a Zombified Piglin. Surprised it took so long. For a while the rumor was LEGO didn't want to make one because developing a whole new head mold just to remove an ear would be ridiculous... guess they were right 'cause it's still got an ear!

Already getting a set with Armadillos so that's fun

The Trial Chamber set is a tad disappointing. It's cool that we're already getting a Breeze figure, but including regular skeletons instead of Bogged is an odd choice, and it's such a small set compared to how expansive the structure is in-game. Another minor gripe is the shade of green they used feels a bit too dull and faded. There's no perfect match in LEGO to the Oxidized Copper Block but their teal/turquoise is certainly closer!

Not a theme for me but should you wish to build a space loader (a la Alien), then the gas nozzle in yellow from 21266 are necessary - in a few months they should be on PaB.

The breeze doesn't have eyebrows.... WHY??! That's a key part of it's design, and without them it doesn't look like a breeze first of all, and it looks friendly and derpy. Everything else is fine, that zombiefied piglin is.... interesting. Armadillo is top tier though

That piece has been available for a long time, almost ten years. 21122 was the first Blaze minifigure which utilized that piece

If this 21261 didn't fulfill you're wolfy desires, I doubt they will do a full on wolf house so close to that one's release

Medium skin tone and a neutral expression. This is probably the closest in appearance to his in-game counterpart that Lego Steve has ever gotten. If only they had the budget for 2-shot molded arms so that he could have short sleeves.

And that’s what I needed to know. Still need the flaming baby zombie, and now I need this thing.

True, but the part was still not available on PaB in yellow (might have been a long time ago). As of now, only available in: grey and black - (white and gold are out of stock).

Value of the Minecraft sets seems to be a good selling point. I wonder if a lot of that is just the piece count corresponds to a bigger size since they use more blocks and non-tiled surfaces. You get a bigger set for the same piece count

Yet another great value Minecraft wave. But why is Alex so angry?

That's an odd name for a mob big enough to ride.

It's called a Strider, and is a mob that can walk on lava so you can traverse the massive lava lakes in the nether more easily.

Oh, yeah, I remember that name from when the minifig from 662402 was RMotD: https://brickset.com/article/111929/random-minifig-of-the-day-min169
