An unofficial smurfs collab

By in Canada,

Will be going for Tortuga. Another pirate build for me! Could pair well with the rumoured Black Pearl...

Gravatar
By in New Zealand,

These are all beautiful, especially the Thieves of Tortuga set, I can't describe how incredible it looks.

Gravatar
By in Norway,

OMG! Anyone need a kidney..?

Gravatar
By in United States,

This is probably the best overall Bricklink Series ever. Each one stands out within the theme they are portraying. I love all of their aesthetics.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I'm quite tempted by the Antique Shop and Popcorn Wagon. Both reasonably priced too. The others look well done but not of any interest to me.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'll be getting the two most expensive ones. The others are all great but I'll have to make due with just the instructions for them.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Tortuga is a must buy for me.

Gravatar
By in Turkey,

Adventure in Transylvania might be the best Bricklink set to date!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Did the math on price per piece, with the average of most sets being .086, Modern sets since Mountain Fortress at .089, This set of five are .086, and even on the aftermarket price averages are .11, IMO making them decent prices even if they are on the more expensive side of Most Lego sets overall.

My faves....Adventure in Transylvania.
WOW, what an incredibly detailed mansion. That dark red striking against the black.
And it looks like some play functions? Can't make out what they are though.

And the Antique shop's items. Lovely mini build throughout.

By in Germany,

My favorites are the T's - Transylvania and Tortuga.

The other ones look good too though. Nothing to complain here other than maybe that it's going to be a wallet drainer.

I thought I was really done with LEGO for a while, but those two mentioned above, plus some of the new Creator 3in1 sets are really tempting imho.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Antique shop is very cute. I quite like the Transylvania set as a variation from the many, many fan-designed Castle sets

Gravatar
By in New Zealand,

Interesting that while the programme has a limit of 4,000 pieces for each design, they've added some to push a couple of them over.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Broken the 4000 pieces barrier, twice.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Adventure in Transylvania If I can afford it with star trek ship and black pearl

Gravatar
By in Poland,

Transylvania set is an absolute gorgeous showstopper, striking colour scheme, beautiful details, wow.

I really like the pirates sets as well, it looks better than I remembered from the first appearance.

And then the mushroom village, I have the first mushroom house and I love it very much, I think I need this set too...

I better start saving money right away for all of these beauties....

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Transylvania and Tortuga for me, though the second one I'm wavering on, and the price is not helping. I like the popcorn set too.

How is it I'll be spending the same amount on this series as I have on the past one, yet getting one less set?

My wallet is having a mini meltdown and I'm having a hard time choosing what sets to dismantle that I feel I've only just built.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

The real question here is: what does that brown piece on the outside of Adventure in Transylvania do when you turn it?

Gravatar
By in France,

Everything is fantastic. Wow! The final versions are excellent, I'm very pleased!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Now i need to find £800...

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

OMG, this wave is a killer! Of my wallet, that's for sure, but all the builds are incredible!
910053 The Thieves of Tortuga and 910049 Adventure in Transylvania are a must-buy for me!

Gravatar
By in Poland,

Are those new leg pieces in the Popcorn Wagon?

Gravatar
By in Austria,

Insane how good all of these are. Transylvania is going to sell out in an hour, if that. Tortuga is great for pirates fans. The antique house is cute af, and of course mushroom. That wagon is excellent as well, not what I want for my scenes but really well-executed.

Gravatar
By in Turkey,

Loved them all, they are all beautiful. If I had to pick one though, I'ld start with Adventure in Transylvania. Amazing color and design.

Gravatar
By in Poland,

This is the first time for BL sets where ALL of them are great. but Adventure in Transylvania is best one. Shame it has city tier figs.

No... they are available on Bricks and Pieces on the shop at home site... I believe all Bricklink Designer programs sets need to use those pieces, it's one of the design requirements. Not certain but I think they were introduced with the Jaws set.

By in Netherlands,

All of these look great. Tortuga is my favourite, although I didn't spot an actual turtle in the pics! And ouch, that price! Gorgeous though.

That Antique Shop is very charming, but also feels like it should've been a regular retail set. They could've retooled it as a modular or 3-in-1. It has a certain quaintness about it that most sets aimed at kids don't really have anymore, but kids deserve that too.

By in United States,

First time ever, we’re going to sell out the whole wave and quickly.

Based on what's on the bottom floor location - I'm guessing it somehow makes Dracula pop up from his tomb. Or some effect like that.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Series 5 is awesome -- congratulations to all the designers. This has come such a long way since the first program. Personally I'm saving up for the Mushroom Village to put next to the Mushroom House -- I'm a huge fan of the organic style and scale Jonas Kramm has brought to this.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

The Tortuga has a some similarities with the forest hideout, what with the split and bridge and open back.

Yes! Oh, god, yes. Thank you, soooo much!!

Would anyone like to buy a kidney of indeterminate prior use for say about $1,500? Because, I'm going to need two of Transylvania.

@yellowcastle : yes, you're probably correct, good sir. This wave has apparently even resurrected @AustinPowers from his second dark, brooding Dark Age.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

All are outstanding. Antique store looks very cosy and I'm a sucker for any kind of town building. The Mushroom village and Transylvania look great as well, and I wish I could get all of them!

Not so much of a pirates fan, and the popcorn cart isn't the most interesting idea, but this is a really solid wave.

Gravatar
By in United States,

That poor guy is about to have his chicken dinner ruined!

Several of these are absolutely gorgeous, definitely deserved the win. I very much want both the Tortuga and Transylvania sets (Tortuga will probably be modified slightly to fit my fantasy medieval landscape), but I may only be able to afford one

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Not a single set I would consider buying, but that Transylvania does look awesome! So much exterior detail, and such a striking color scheme. I do wonder why it is €50 more than the Tortuga set, despite the similar piece and minifig count.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I wish the Adventures in Transylvania in particular was an ideas set as I absolutely love it, but I’m not going to be FOMOed into buying something, especially at that price point.

We would never get any of these sets if not for BLDP. Slapping an IDEAS logo on the box and throwing in printed instructions doesn’t change anything for me. Amazing LEGO is amazing LEGO.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Transylvania will sell out quick, even at the higher price.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Transylvania and Tortuga are absolutely stunning!! So impressed by this wave!!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Anyone ever watch the TV series Friday the 13th or familiar with Rick & Morty's Needful Things store? The thing they have in common is cursed objects from an antique store. BrickLink's Antique Store looks a bit too cheerful to sell cursed objects, but it might make a nice cursed object store for Halloween with darker awnings and trees in fall colors.

gonna be a flood of kidneys on the market!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Surprisingly good price points and the revisions don't weaken the submissions as much as I'd feared likely--Transylvania isn't quite as beautiful, but retains its special atmosphere and complex detail.

Not sure how many I'll get this round, but every one of the sets deserves careful consideration!

Gravatar
By in United States,

I can't look at that Transylvania set without hearing the opening of Toccata and Fugue (you know, the scary organ song)

Gravatar
By in United States,

It looks like three out of the four rooms in Adventure in Transylvania has a play feature. Can’t wait to see them in action. It really is a stunning set together with The Thieves of Tortuga. Too bad I can’t afford these prices.

Gravatar
By in France,

Tortuga is epic

Gravatar
By in United States,

I like the Antique store. I don't know if I like it enough to grab it. But it looks neat. The popcorn wagon is interesting.

I find myself not ever building these sets anyway, so I don't know why I bother getting them.

I completely understand and respect your viewpoint but don’t personally hold it - I prefer the idea of a set being available for a good length of time and there not being a ceiling on the number available. I have no problem with preordering or even waiting for made to order items.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

These all look great. Knowing Brinklink, they will all be sold out within 2 days of being released.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Mushroom Village is just plain fun to look at and to see all the clever parts usage! Really creative design!

Gravatar
By in Canada,

For this soon to be 70 years old AFOL,it' s gonna cost me about 2648$ cdn for TRANSYLVANIA - TORTUGA AND MUSHROOM times two for each sets. What a series . this is the best so far. CONGRATULATION to all the fantastic designers.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I actually really like all these sets. Sigh.

Gravatar
By in Mexico,

Bricklink sets look "fake" to me. They don't look like an official Lego set, and are somehow weird.

But... who am I to judge?

Gravatar
By in Portugal,

They all look great! But the prices are crazy! I'd get tortuga if it wasnt so ridiculously expensive
