JB Spielwaren has unveiled a cool new addition to the DC Comics Super Heroes lineup: 76304 Batman Forever Batmobile!
The set features the first-ever minifigure of Val Kilmer's version of the Dark Knight, as well as a display stand and of course, his car! The 909-piece model will be released on August 1st.

What a strange coincidence; in the the same year, when actor Val Kilmer has just passed away.
Yippee, yet ANOTHER collectable Batmobile.
Genuinely what corner of the LEGO fandom is asking for these again and again?
I know the last thing anyone needs is another Batmobile ... but at least it's one they haven't done before.
Is it bad that I think this is the best batmobile design? Like, out of every single version of it on existence?
Oh, and of course I'll be picking this up at some point :D
I am not a fan of the rubber capes or the new cowl piece.
Gorgeous.
Great model, greater than the film, which is so goofy… but it's interesting for that, precisely…
Now let's wait and see whether a 'Batman & Robin' Batmobile will be released in the years to come — hopefully with a Mr Freeze minifig, so that I can recreate all those cheezy ice-related puns (and rewatch ThatGuyWithTheGlasses's review).

DC Comics' answer to the numerous Star Wars Luke's Landspeeder sets?
More seriously, though, at least there are several different renditions of the Batmobile to make into sets but I do understand and support your comment nevertheless.
I quite like it. Good that it's a change from the ordinary.
If you try to COLLECT "all" Batmobiles. This is incredible.

Me! Minifig-scale-ish batmobiles (I hope I'm not getting the scale entirely wrong, but at least it's a good omen for one in the future if not), and maybe the Starship Collection, are the two things I actually collect. The batmobiles started as a joke but I honestly love collecting them, and was genuinely curious if this was a set they'd make. I'm not even that big of a Batman fan, but my little collection makes me very happy.
I know that was a rhetorical question but just know there's at least one Brickset user delighted by this announcement solely for the purpose of there being another batmobile to collect.
Why is Batman the only Minifigure? No villains for the kids to play with...
Really neat. What sure what the scale is, but looks great! (Val Bats does not with new cowl.)
Not my favorite Batmobile, but it's a good looking one nonetheless.
RRP is probably going to be atrocious though.
Top three batmobiles: 1966, 1989 and then this one

Probably the Batman fans id have to guess
You could literally say the same thing about every new Castle nostalgia bait set that comes out.
But you wouldnt because thats your thing and apparently dont think other people might have a similar level of interest in their own favorite theme.
I never thought I'd see the day when a Lego minifig would sport the Bat-Nipples.

Bat-Credit Card?!
This is a weird set when I think about it more carefully. The scale is kind of in between: too big for display in a typical minifigure scale scene but too small for display alongside other large scale models. The Batmobile has two seats, but only one minifigure included for display.
I am fond of the movie, but I’m not sure I’ll be getting this Batmobile.
Very happy that Lego are making a different Batmobile that hasn't been done before.

It's 30th anniversary of the movie. I wonder if they managed to commemorate Val Kilmer in the instructions somehow because he died very recently.
The movie had one of the most interesting Batmobile door openings, which is probably too difficult to replicate at this scale. Ignoring tail fin, seems around 30cm between wheels which is shorter than UCS but longer then City vehicles, but really need a photo comparison against previous Batmobiles to determine whether should be a bit larger.
This is the batmobile that i love the least. I think the Lego rendition is WAAAAAAY better than the real thing in the movie! Somehow the Lego medium works so much better with the campness of the actual car, which was just too jarring.
The best thing about this Batmobile is it reminds me of the Batman The Animated Series episode where they make fun of Joel Schumacher.

Hi, it's me. I'm asking for these. The more of these different batmobiles we've never gotten before they can make, the more I'll buy.

Yeah, i agree with this 100%. Is this a new line of Batmobile models in this scale? The new style of simplified stand and plaque suggest maybe yes. I collect most of the large scale and minifig scale Batmobiles but my buy-in on this will be discount dependent.
Movie Batmobiles as a pseudo-subtheme of Speed Champions make sense to me, and this isn't a repeat/redo like the 2025 Tumbler.
What does concern me though is the price, after the Burton pair and especially the new Tumbler pushed the envelope hard.

It's also the 30th anniversary of that movie.
As long as LEGO keep releasing different versions of the Batmobile to form a proper collection then they can carry on for me.
The piece on the side of the main vertical fin...is that new?
*Kiss From a Rose intensifies*
I don't have any affection whatsoever for Batman Forever, but this is actually a pretty cool Batmobile. The only thing I don't like is the super tall tail fin, which can't be at all practical! I might modify it, even though it is very tall in the movie.
Thank you LEGO!!! Coolest batmobile of all in my opinion. Never expected to get anything based on Batman Forever as I know it's not a favourite among Batman fans, but I watched this movie at the cinema three times when I was a kid. Val Kilmer was a good Batman/Bruce Wayne - so sad he passed recently. Definitely adding this to my large scale LEGO Batmobile collection.
I'm glad they keep making more batmobiles based on movies and animated series. They're perfect sets for Batman fans.
I hope they revisit the BvS batmobile at some point and maybe make the one from Arkham Asylum.
It's the car, right? Chicks love the car.

Multiple Batmobiles are not analogous to multiple land speeders, or even X-wings. The better point of comparison would be to, say, Rebel starships as a class. Getting an animated series Batmobile to go alongside the '89 Batmobile is like getting both an X-wing and a Y-wing: they're doing different things and filling out independent slots in a set. There's also a long tradition in Batman media of him having multiple cars across his history, so any good Batcave needs many Batmobiles.
But they couldn't bother to put in Riddler, Two-Face or even Robin?
Also, as an avid Batmobile collector, this is just too oversized compared to all the others. Instant pass, but that's alright: a Batman Forever set was going to be a hard sell for me.
But, how does it compare with the shadow box version?
Ok, I'll get my hat.
I just wonder why they went with the wrong color for Bats. Not like they were working off concept art…
And where’s Two-Face & The Riddler?!
Never appreciated this Batmobile (THE DICK, if you watch it from above), but good nonetheless. NOW I NEED THE BATMAN E ROBIN one!
Not exactly a great movie, but at least the car looks cool! But considering the UK price this will probably be €100, and that's a nope for me.
I loved this movie as a kid. It hit all the areas I wanted. I will definitely pick this up.

Presumably they thought getting the shininess of the costume was more important than having it be a darker color. Batman Forever's costume was indeed very distinctly shiny, especially compared to the Keaton or Bale Batsuits.
Y'know what Batmobile I'd like to see? A Golden Age of Comics version, like https://comiczombie.net/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/bat20.jpg Or maybe the original licensed Batmobile: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8SGnrXoWeoM

For a few years now, I've had a serious itch to build a minifig-scale version of the _ORIGINAL_ 1963 Batmobile. That is an amazing piece of art.
I’m a fan of this, but please tell me the $99 price is a joke?

No, it's the 2x2 tile with corner cutouts that's been around for some years now. Makes for a not-too-bad-looking way to stabilize the seam.
