By in United Kingdom,

This is probably the worst Star Wars wave I can recall, although the AT-DP, T-16 Skyhopper and TIE Advanced Prototype look like decent sets.

Having said that though, I hate the idea of the TIE Advanced even existing in Star Wars Rebels as the vehicle is supposed to be unique to Darth Vader, and is in fact a prototype in Episode IV.

Finally, why is Sabine missing her helmet? That simply smacks of laziness.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Im not a big fan of Sabine's hair in the Speeder bike set.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

If you go to toyark.com you'll see all of these plus other 2015 themes in higher resolution as well as pics from alternate angles.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Not Star Wars related, but I went today to the Virginia KidsFest, and the Lego Club booth had a scavenger hunt for certain issues, and the prizes were a printed Lego Duplo brick or a special exclusive variant of Electro from the Amazing Spider-man 2, with the microchip implant and special sinister six suit from the end of the film.

Gravatar
By in United States,

For me the Battle packs are ok, probably getting some for the minifigures. The T-16 looks great and why did Lego put more droids in the battle droid troop carrier then the mtt?

Gravatar
By in United States,

Does anyone know what the sources for the Battle Packs come are? Also, the Skyhopper looks good. I wish we could have more OT sets and small ones with major characters, like the Lego Movie DDC.

Gravatar
By in United States,

The battle packs look good, besides that only the At-Dp looks worthy of buying. What is up with that AAT? Really is that the best you could come up LEGO. Kinda looks like an over sized microfighter.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I love the many Rebels sets. The premiere was great, so if nothing else in the wave, I'll get those.

Gravatar
By in United States,

@Droid.Workshops.Inc: I agree that AAT looks terrible. The old set from 2000 looks much better than this one, plus the minifigures for this set are nothing to be desired.

@CapnRex101: Yes, this has to be the worst Star Wars wave to date.

Gravatar
By in United States,

THIS HAS TO BE THE BEST WAVE EVER!!!!!!(I guess I'm the only one who feels that way). Did I spot a dark stone grey T-piece? And what's that new lightsaber handle? These are in my mind the best SW sets ever(who am I to speak though, I've never even seen the movies).

Gravatar
By in United States,

I think the AAT looks decent. A major improvement to the 2000 version, but looks a bit smaller.

The Droid Troop Carrier however, is overdoing it. The piece count is 565, does this mean it will be at least $50? If so, that is outrageous. It has 14 droids in total, which is a little over a sixth of the entire sets piece count, so I doubt this is going to be a popular set unless people want a droid army.

The T-16 looks great, it absolutely blew me away how they've improved so much on the model. I love the new Tusken Raider head mold as well, it has good printing and an accurate design.

@CapnRex101: The AAT and the T-16 are probably the only sets I will consider buying from this wave. But I agree with you Rex, I think this may be the worst one to date.

Gravatar
By in United States,

The Shadow Trooper set and the updated T-16 (with new Tuskien Raider -- finally!!) will be the only sets from this release that I will be purchasing.

I really hate the Microfighters. It's like Lego realizes their prices are getting way out of hand, so instead of the real deal, here, have a crappy looking vehicle with one minifigure.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

I actually like most of these sets. Especially the droid transport and wookie gunship. The microfighters are fun.

I am shocked to see the AAT. Terrible! They made a mistake with the box art. This is another microfighter!
No seriously, the AAT from 2000 is one of the fans most favorite sets. This new version is one of the worst remakes ever.
Won't be buying this one...

Gravatar
By in Australia,

I need, ALL OF THOSE! THEY ALL LOOK AMAZING. Favorites are all of the battle packs and the AAT

Gravatar
By in Canada,

As usual, for me, the battle packs are the highlight of the bunch. I watched the opening hour-long episode of Star Wars Rebels, and it was not nearly the same high quality production that the latter seasons of Clone Wars were. For that reason the appeal of some of the Lego sets isn't as strong, however, certain vehicles and minifigures would be worth having.

Gravatar
By in Ireland,

Man, that's a disappointing bunch. More battle packs with pointless mini builds so they're not just minifig packs and obscure ships.
Out of all of them there's one set I'll probably buy and that's the micro snowspeeder. I guess that just means more budget for other themes...

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Absolute garbage. Doesn't help that I have zero regard for Rebels. Skyhopper is probably the only redeeming set. And those. fucking. blasters. Jesus H. Christ they're disgusting. The reverse megaphone with the trans 1X1 round plate on the end is still my favourite lego version of a rifle blaster by a very long way.

Gravatar
By in United States,

This looks poor for Lego quality, and only the T-16 , Senate Commandos, and AT-DP are interesting. Also, just a quick question, why does Lego need to constantly update minifigures every ****ing year, especially since the more recent ones have too much d*** detail.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'm not a Star Wars LEGO fan but those battle packs are really awesome!

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Wish Sabine came with Mandalorian armour.....

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'm upset that the new shadowtroopers aren't going to match my older ones. And the micro AT-AT is one of the worst micros, and I LOVE AT-ATs.

I wonder how well that new gattling piece will work?

Gravatar
By in United States,

I love that the T16 comes with a "whomp rat".

I'm also a sucker for speeder bikes, so that one is a definite. I wonder if the Kallus minifig will have the epic mutton chops.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Wow, some of those are actually really good. I especially like the Skyhopper and the AT-AP.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Really disappointed. Saw a few interesting pieces for MOCs, and I like the Tusken Raider. That's it, otherwise not interested in any of these sets.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'm particularly disappointed in the Imperial Troop Transport. But I was buying it for the stormtroopers anyway...

Gravatar
By in United States,

I haven't seen the guns Sabine's using since the original Batman theme. I hope they're used more now.

Gravatar
By in United States,

@ambrose Sabine has Mandolorian armour, but no helmet which disappoints me.

I like a lot of these but my favorites are the speeder bikes and the Tie Advanced Prototype. I love the new lightsaber mold for the Inquisitor.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Before seeing these pictures, I was going to buy the Imperial Troop Transport just for the four stormtroopers. Their vehicle is an incomprehensible mess, but that can be overlooked. However, their helmets look cartoonish and they don't have authentic guns. Does anyone like the new guns with actual projectiles? I hate them.

Only two sets (AAT and the droid carrier) are true to the films and they're not particularly desirable, meaning there isn't a single set here that I want to buy.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

It was time for a T-16 remake - and this looks great. The AAT also garners interest.

Gravatar
By in Brazil,

After this year's fantastic wave, this one is very disappointing. I would only buy the TIE, but just to make some kind of mod combined with 9492, as I only care about OT sets. The cockpit of this new one is smother and more accurate, it would improve the design of 9492.

Probably I will buy the AT-DP also, I would love a new AT-ST but I think this is the closer we will get for now...

Gravatar
By in Brazil,

Oh and about T-16, its too "microfightier" to my taste. Its too small, and I don't like how the windscreen was done.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Not keen on that new AAT at all. I still have the original from 2000 so will be keeping that.
The droid carrier is of interest, and possibly the Hailfire when we get pictures of it. Other than that, I'll just save up for 75060

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I love microfighter sets, the snow speeder and AT-AT are looking really cool:)

Gravatar
By in Australia,

I love this new wave. The AAT looks amazing and the T16 having a womp rat is too cute. I think the part size of many of these sets is spot on, and makes them more affordable for the childrens.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

We got a lot of OT sets this year so with the release of the Rebels show it was inevitable that the Disney/LEGO cash cow was gonna give us a Rebels heavy wave early next year! Apart from the Battle Droid Carrier, I like the sets, especially the T-16, AT-DP and Microfighters and there's some cool new minifigs too. I'm somewhat underwhelmed by the size of the AAT but it seems to be to the same scale as the current MTT - too small! The repeating 'gattling gun' blasters look interesting! Wish they would release a senate guard as well as the commandos. Not sure about Sabine, I haven't seen any of the Rebels show but she appears to be a character design similar to Asajj and Aurra Sing - waif-life and difficult to transpose to a minifig form! I'm sure the Mandalorian armour will turn up in a larger set later in the year

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

A wave an OT only fan can entirely ignore! Relief for my wallet!! :P

Seriously though, this is going to split fans. It's great for minifigure amassers, and the variations of troopers look amazing (Mud splattered clones! Inverted royal guards!), but for anyone verging on the purist side, it all looks pretty horrible!

The highlight has to be the new piece used for the font screen and hatch on the TIE Advanced prototype, here comes another round of TIE-improvements! I did always think the one on 9492 looked way too bulbous.

Minifigure-wise, I really want the tan Imperial officer from that set, he'll break up the blacks and greys of my Imperial hanger very nicely. The Tuskan Raider looks great, but only one in a set is a bit of a bummer.
And yeah, the helmet in the T-16 set is Luke's training helmet with printing this time, the wamp rat is cute but a bit pants as they're meant to be 2 metres wide...
...aaaaand the microfighter Snowspeeder and AT-AT look cute, nice to have a Rebel helmet in grey.

Meh! :)

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I was going to post a longer comment but all my text disappeared when I pressed to post it which was a bit infuriating. But I'm impressed by the character and level of detail in the minifigures, and the accuracy of the vehicles to the programme with the Rebels sets. I won't miss those and the AT DP is worth buying for the box art alone!

The shadow troopers battle pack harks back to The Force Unleashed and I remember trying to use some varied attacked to take them down, especially the shadow royal guard (that's probably not the official name though). They would certainly be good in a TFU MOC if I got hold of Starkiller and Juno.

The Episode I sets are surprising. The droid carrier is obscenely massive and yet the AAT matches the scale of the MTT. Still, despite my hordes already you can never have enough battle droids

Gravatar
By in United States,

These must be the "hold your breath until the good sets from Episode VII come out" sets. The AT-AT Microfighter is hilarious.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I predict that the Sabine with Helmet figure will be an SDCC15 exclusive.

The Tie Advanced I like but it's going to be priced at £49.99 which is steep. I'll surely get it, but as with the majority of this past wave will wait for deep discount a la Argos or Amazon.

Gravatar
By in Puerto Rico,

Sets I interested: T-16, AT-DT (that Imperial officer will be grat to my forces), Shadow Troopers (shadow guard!!), Troop carrier, Prototype tie Advance, Geonosis Troopers and some from the other themes (Ninjago, Speed Champions, Lego Movie, City).

Gravatar
By in United States,

There are too many battle packs. And the AAT is the worst possible version. Worst. Wave. Ever.

Gravatar
By in Finland,

Specially interested about the battle droid carrier, gotta by a few of those to get a bigger droid army!

Gravatar
By in Ireland,

By far THE BEST WAVE of Star Wars for a long time. The battle packs are just AMAZING. Love the orange/brown clones. It's great there is so many sets from the Star Wars rebels show. I'm personally a HUDGE fan of Star Wars the clone wars and watched it for six years. I was extremely sad when they cancelled it but it had to end some time, I guess. Anyway, @capnrex101 you are obviously not a fan of clone troopers.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

@rollabar - A new mould would not be required as one could easily repurpose the Mandalorian helmet mould which originated in 2011. The only new piece in the set as it stands is Sabine's hair piece as far as I can see anyway, so even if a new piece were to be made it would not be too much of a stretch in my opinion.

@Lego minifigures - I am a fan of the films and surrounding series. Since only one of the four Battle Packs is based on anything seen in the films or TV shows, only one of them appeals to me. I am not interested in Clone Troopers or any other character when they have been invented by LEGO, particularly when they do not even make sense as part of the saga as in the case of the Geonosis Troopers.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

A few to ignore, but there are a few I'll be grabbing out of that lot:

Imperial Trooper and Shadow Trooper packs
T16
TIE Advanced Prototype
AT-DP
Snowspeeder & AT-AT Microfighters (That AT-AT... D'awwwww! :3 )

The Imperial Trooper set looks like a decent chance to be able to build up a good sized acceptable trooper army without breaking the bank on bricklink etc :)

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

^The only problem with the troopers is they're Rebels versions with the really exaggerated mouth like in the original concept sketches. I believe the mould is the same, I think you can see the groove where the mouth should be printed, but I know I'd be bugged by it and want proper helmets.
(How much are the helmets on their own on Bricklink then? :P)

Gravatar
By in United States,

These new Star Wars sets look quite meh. Oh well, more money for Bionicle! :D

Gravatar
By in United States,

Personally I think some of these sets look pretty cool. Keep in mind that LEGO can't keep making the same stuff over and over, plus SW episode 7 will bring a ton of new sets and minifigs.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Between this bad release of Star Wars sets and no new LOTR sets I will be spending almost nothing on Lego next year. Hobbit sets and maybe two of these Star Wars sets are worth buying.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I googled pics for the new Hailfire Droid, and to be honest it looks identical to the one previously released in 7670, along with a Clone Trooper Lieutenant that I was hoping would stay exclusive. The AAT horrified me at first, but I then realized it was supposed to be in scaled to the already small MTT released this year, so it doesn't bother me as much but it still looks way too small. I'm still disappointed that LEGO doesn't make more locations in the Star Wars universe instead of so many vehicles, there is so much that hasn't been done yet.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

The gunship microfighter is the most ridiculous looking model I have ever seen. I'm confused that people actually buy the microfighters, they are very poor representations of actual ships from Star Wars that look even more stupid with a Minifigure on top, they must be 'filler' sets, because otherwise Lego are really beginning to disappoint me.

On a side note, I love the skyhopper and the new Tusken Raider head piece

Gravatar
By in United States,

This is without a shadow of a doubt the WORST wave of all time. The new Rebels show is trash and these sets represent that. The AAT is hideous, the clone battle pack is the same one we got last year. I'm very disappointed in ALL the sets this year...

Gravatar
By in Belgium,

These sets are indeed a disappointment.
Did anyone notice how the inquisitor from SW Rebels DEFINITELY doesn't look like the inquisitor? Also the Sabine character doesn't look like herself and really misses the helmet! I think LEGO did well on the other Rebel characters though..

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Like many people have said the LEGO Star Wars January 2015 sets are underwhelming and are minifigure heavy as I have stated before. I have faith in LEGO that they are going to saving the best and are going to spark the shelves in late 2015 with Episode 7 models. LEGO Designers in the Star Wars team are probably tired of doing the same models every time and the new movies should be a new and fresh start.

Maybe we will get a Episode 7 UCS set that will make up for it. A remodeled UCS Millennium Falcon based on Episode 7 with 6000+ would be great news :)

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Clearly recycling some old designs although good to see them again. Lots of Army builders (Senate Commandos here we come, I'd have a whole line of them). The Wookies look FAR better then in the new show. This lot is going to cost a LOT to buy, mostly because I'll want two or three of each of the builders alone.

Gravatar
By in United States,

and this is what we get when disney and lego parter up

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

As it stands, there's nothing in this wave for me as an AFOL. I only collect OT vehicles, and have no interest in Star Wars Rebels (although I can understand why Lego want to ride the wave of hype considering it's a brand new SW franchise). I quite like the T-16; it seems like a smaller (but still well designed), reasonably priced kit that should be priced similarly to the new Snowspeeder from earlier in 2014. However, it's hardly an iconic Original Trilogy vehicle.

That is what this wave is sorely lacking. We need something from A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back or Return Of The Jedi. Imagine how great a Lars Family Homestead playset would be alongside that T-16! Or a Cloud City twin pod car next to the new UCS Slave I. A redesigned AT-ST, TIE Interceptor or TIE Bomber would have been nice to see as well.

When was the last time an OT kit came out that really filled a gap in your collection? It's been an awfully long time I'd be willing to bet.

Gravatar
By in United States,

And I'm just here waiting for a TIE Bomber...

Gravatar
By in United States,

Will definitely pick up that Shadow Troopers set, maybe two of them since the figs are so darn cool.
The AAT is a lot more realistically sized than the $50 Clone Wars giant TLG released a while back, so I'm happy with it; I see how it can look like a microfighter, but the scale is much better than most LEGO sets. One of the few other sets I can think of that has accuracy like this is TDKR Bat.
The Droid Transport looks great as well, though it looks absurdly small for 565 parts, and the way TLG prices things these days, it'll probably be around $60 for that number of pieces... :I

Gravatar
By in Canada,

I'm surprised at the negative comments; perhaps it's because I'm not a LEGO Star Wars aficionado but I find almost all of these these sets having something neat to offer - good combinations of figures and builds; actual play features; and smartly designed to boot. Complaints that the Microfighters (which are great sets and far better than the planets, in my opinion) aren't properly to scale and the like beggar belief.

Gravatar
By in United States,

WHERE IS SABINE'S HELMET?!?!?

With the helmet, that set is a must-buy. Without it, no thanks.

The battle packs seem good…..if the price is what it has been for those sets.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Most are pretty good, except some are boring. Probably it doesn't high up my expectations, or it doesn't fit any needs.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

That Tusken Raider is AMAZING. Shame there aren't two of them.

They've really gone all out on the Battle Droid Carrier. Quite large, with tons of battle droids.

Thankfully I don't want too many of these; not really interested in Rebels. Looks to be an alright wave. Hopefully we get a large Cloud City set in the mid-year wave.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

@zipsforbananas: Meh, I'm not too bothered about that, it's close enough to not bother me personally.

"Correct" helmets look to be around the £2-3 mark, and the whole figures are anywhere from £5-15 - waaaay more that I'm comfortable paying personally.

If these sets are anything like the other ones previously released, they should end up around £10-15 a set, which is much more reasonable at a per minifig price.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

^Looks like a pretty sweet wave for you then. Enjoy!
I hope it does really well, I'd love to see it inspire a proper Stormtrooper battle pack in the next wave for annoyingly fussy folks like me! ;)

The Rebels focus is fair and obvious with it being current, but the OT does seem strangely neglected (Not a single system scale set if you don't count the T-16, which is surely the least OT OT set possible: it was mentioned once, seen as a model and partially glimpsed parked in the background!), especially when there are sets from the hugely maligned Episode I, including everybody's favourite focus of NT hatred, Jar-Jar Binks!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

@zipsforbananas – that's my exact problem with this wave. There hasn't been a TIE Interceptor, TIE Bomber or AT-ST kit for ages; any one of them would have been ideal.

As an OT collector, I feel pretty neglected with this wave of releases.

Does anyone know what Lego's priority is when it comes to SW sets? I guess any new franchises take priority, along with whatever will sell well with kids?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

@gcstranks - The lack of AT-ST is even more glaring when the Ewok Village had a device to squash one too, plus the logs for tripping one in the funny little Ewok Attack set. All these ways to take down a non-existent threat!

I'm happy with the AT-STs I've got, but they were part of the larger 8038 set, and I eBayed one on its own. There's a great TIE Interceptor build too, I think on Rebrickable, that adapted 9492 nicely.
Sucks a bit that it all has to be so cobbled together, though that was also part of the charm when I wasn't so obsessive about owning everything!

And my tiny little TIE Bomber from the planets set is a rather mocking reminder that we've only ever had one of those, a long time ago, and it was chunky and blue! :P

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Wow I have to say the 1st set(shadow troopers) is really dissapointing,I was thinking it would be like a stormtrooper with invert colours. The 2nd one;is a crap re do of the old set from 2006(7667) I remember 7667 was my fvourite star wars set as a 7 year old.Overall I hate the new stormtrooper look as a TFOL.Watching the new Rebels series is definately not the top of my TV list.

However, the 3rd set looks great!I love all the phase 2 clones and the camo desings are great!Reminds me of Boiler and Waxer from the CW.

The senate commando set looks okay and a easier way to get them. Not bad.

The speeder bike set looks AWFUL.The desinger made them way to bulky and ugly. Not a fan.

The next few sets look decent enough but I hate the idea of darth vaders TIE fighter EVEN EXISTING in rebels.Damn you disney.

The droid carrier may be useful to collecters but other than the sets I have commented on they look alright. Not pleased with the microfighters reallly.(Note I am no SW hater)I wishthat lego would have spent money on producing more middle earth sets.

Overall wave: 7/10.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

The Minis and Battle Packs all look decent, although I'm surprised there isn't one with the new Phase I Clone troopers. The Geonosis troopers are just a recolour of the Kashyyyk ones with yet another walker, admittedly it is a nice looking walker and overall BP, but they could have tried something different. The AAT looks nice, if a little small, I'd have to see it up close and compare it to the last two, which were both pretty good, hopefully it wont be too expensive. The Troop Carrier looks pretty damn sweet, but it feels like they've done it over and over, I know its far from the original, but its basically a scaled up version of the last one and I'll still get it, but it bugs me that all the tanks and carriers are all different sizes in my army.
The AT-DP looks so damn sweet, I've been waiting for them to make one, I usually go for the Clone army vs Droid army, partly because there are just so many sets based on scenes and spaceships for the original trilogy, but damn that is one nice looking walker.

Gravatar
By in Finland,

Republic Gunship 2013, Droid Gunship 2014, Coruscant Police Gunship 2014 and now there´s coming Republic Gunship Microfighter and Wookiee Gunship. What is there going on with the gunships?

Gravatar
By in United States,

******SPOILERS******

Here's an interesting thought, there have been leaked images of chromed up stormtroopers in episode VII, what if the 'Shadow Trooper' battlepack is the 1st episode VII set???????

will definately be getting the skyhopper and the shadow trooper set.

Gravatar
By in Belgium,

Worst wave of Lego Star Wars ever!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Hmmm...

Gravatar
By in United States,

Um...where's the Episode IV-VI sets? 2014 did do a lot of scenes but still...

Also, hey Lego...can you please stop re-releasing vehicles? Let's see some other scenes from the movies rather than the same 20 over and over again.

Gravatar
By in United States,

i agree that this is probably the worst wave to date. i'm not a fan of rebels so none of those sets appeal to me. the battle packs are nice although i despise the new blaster pieces. while it adds a cool function they look terrible and i would much rather have realistic looking blasters than fat stubby awful looking ones that shoot studs. hated them last wave too i was hoping they wouldn't come back. and i agree with those who said the AAT looks like an oversized microfighter. they were probably trying to make it size compatible with the MTT but really what the fans want is a good sized AAT, the size of the clone wars version but with the episode I colors. and there is no reason on earth why the droid transport is a bigger set than the AAT. come on, Lego. love the new tusken raider though in the skyhopper set. i might pick up the skyhopper, the shadow troopers battle pack, and the geonosis troopers battle pack, but thats it. let's hope lego makes up for this in the summer wave. or even better, gives us another lord of the rings wave!!

Gravatar
By in United States,

@CapnRex101 In Lego's defense I think they were trying to create a farfetched version of the 212th legion in the 2nd Battle of Geonosis. Even so I am not sure why they didn't make them with ARF trooper helmets as seen in the Clone Wars tv series which is what I was hoping they would do. And because they didn't I would have agree that these Geonosis troopers are somewhat fictional.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I cannot say I'm excited about these sets, to be honest.
Not too sure about the Shadow Troopers set. Those guards look odd. Are they simply inverted royal guards? Or are they supposed to be senate guards?

I also noticed that the Disney logo appears on the Ep1 and Ep4 sets. I didn't realise they now own the rights to everything Star Wars related.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

^ Lucas sold everything to Disney but remains on the payroll as a 'creative consultant' or something like that!

Gravatar
By in Ireland,

The T-16 looks decent enough but that's about it. Battle packs are OK and always good if you want minifigs but only the Storm trooper one would be of interest.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I think my interest just got reversed. I wasn't initially that excited for the Rebels sets But I was looking forward to the AAT and battle droid carrier. Yeah, those last 2 look cheap and effortless.

All of the Rebels sets except for that Yoda chronicles style wookie gunship interest me. I don't like the Republic Gunship microfighter at all but the AT-AT is SOOO cute. The battle packs are good except for the clone walker. Really wish that the shadow troopers had black armor. Also the fact that the T-16 has only 1 tusken is disappointing.

All in all, I think this is one of the best waves ever. :D

P.S. LEGO needs to remake cloud city.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Senate Commandos are the best in my opinion, I will load up on that battle pack but the AAT is terrible and childish. LEGO seems to aiming more and more themes at kids recently including BIONICLE. Star Wars is stuck releasing the same sets over and over. A cannon or a walker is in every clone battle pack and we haven't had a AT-ST since 2009.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I strongly disagree with Capn rex, i think this years wave of star wars sets look great!

Gravatar
By in United States,

I think the battle droid troop carrier is supposed to have reloads for the MTT

Gravatar
By in United States,

Video is private? Did I miss something?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

^It wasn't like that a few days ago, I'm afraid you did indeed.

Gravatar
By in United States,

There's one additional winter wave LSW set revealed earlier this week that shows a lot of promise in my opinion - Anakin's Custom Jedi Starfighter, based on the designs from the Tartakovsky Clone Wars TV series from 2003. While this show may unfortunately no longer be canon but the so-called "Legends," at least TLG hasn't forgotten and we get great Anakin and Ventress minifigs as well.
