City Advent Calendar - Day 15

Posted by ,

The past couple of days have focused on space and there is significant potential for more, so I am hoping for another item related to the City Space range today.

See what day fifteen brings below...

The space explorers encountered some friendly aliens in their sets a couple of years ago, so friendly, in fact, that some aliens donned spacesuits to help the minifigure visitors! One of those aliens is included today. The same figure has appeared twice before, but I have no objections to receiving another because these aliens are adorable!

I like this re-use of the Dreamling body, now adorned with the Classic Space logo, as well as the dual-moulded helmet developed for the City sets in 2024. The three-eyed head looks great as well, matching the plush from day thirteen. I wonder whether the existence of aliens in LEGO City has affected citizens' lives beyond making soft toys based on the aliens.

Overall - I loved these space-suited aliens when they first appeared, so I am pleased to see another one today.

I really should at least look for the parts to build these guys on PaB. Lego's cutest aliens ever!

He looks like the Toy Story aliens but with a helmet and a white spacesuit.

I like it.

By in United States,

LEGO City has known about Martians since 2001, these little guys won't phase them all that much.

Yes Life on Mars is canon and no Mars Mission does not imply the Crystaliens wiped them out. That's my interpretation and I'm sticking to it.

By in Netherlands,

So the aliens are here to take over, because they think we simply cannot be trusted to take care of our own species, let alone our own planet?

God, this is a relief. What KEPT them?
