Harry Potter Advent Calendar - Day 13
Posted by CapnRex101,Following the pattern of items so far, we should probably expect another figure today. However, the four Hogwarts houses are now represented, so perhaps the sequence will change.
Let's open the door and see...
In fact, we receive our second Gryffindor student, sporting the same jumper as Harry from day one. Angelina Johnson has only appeared once before in minifigure form and I am pleased a character other than Harry, Ron and Hermione has been chosen to represent Gryffindor, even if Harry Potter did appear earlier in the Advent Calendar.
However, re-using the same jumper is disappointing. This component looked excellent on day one and still does twelve days later, but its repetition makes the design seem a bit less special somehow. On the other hand, the set already contains lots of exclusive printed parts, so maybe some re-use was unavoidable.
Angelina's double-sided head is relatively rare, appearing just four times before and suiting the character well. Naturally, the figure comes equipped with a wand, like the vast majority of Harry Potter minifigures.
Overall - Although the festive jumper is still delightful, its re-use is a bit underwhelming.

Yeah the repeated jumper is a bit disappointing, could have used a different animal at least

Hold on to your sweater...
Great representation for Gryffindor.
A second Gryffindor student with the same sweater... I did not expect that
Hello! I was wondering—how do you know that it’s Angelina? My daughter is asking, she is fairly new to HP, reading Half-Blood Prince now. Sorry if that’s a silly question.
Lovely sweater design. I think it's ok to have the same torso. Maybe some students were gifted this from a Hogwarts professor. I love that hairpiece, too!

If you go down to the Specifications section, it names all of the characters who appear in this calendar (spoilers, obviously). After that, it’s just a matter of matching the names up with the minifigs…which someone did get two of them mixed up on Rebrickable (it’s fixed now). The first round of minifigs were all prominent enough characters that they were pretty easy to identify, so the rest can be as easy as just figuring out which House they belong to.
