Brickset has been a victim of its own success and for that I apologise. Earlier on some 1200 people were being served 600 pages a minute which is the highest I've ever seen the load on the server. It was coping fine until I added a link to the new sets list. Querying the sets table is expensive in performance terms and when 200 or more people are simultaneously trying to load it, the database struggles a bit.

So, to avoid the need for everyone to do so, I've added the images to this article.

By in United States,

What is the large white section under the Star Wars Imperial Assault Carrier?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

The back of the actual model in front of the box.

Gravatar
By in United States,

A LOT of cool stuff this year! I see my opportunity to get most of the mainstream OT SW characters, a goal I've had in mind but I haven't been buying SW because there is too much to keep up with. Spidey is another character I keep telling myself I should get before he disappears. Elves looks awesome too! I love this site!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Finally a Gungan besides Jar Jar or generic warrior. With Captain Tarpals in the Flash Speeder that set is a must get for me. I'm not collecting elves sets, but the Pegasus and dragon figures in the sets are pretty cool. Also that naboo pilot in the starfighter kind of reminds me of Ric Olie, maybe its just me though.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

That SW shuttle looks better and better...

Gravatar
By in Poland,

The new Naboo Starfighter looks cool but large amount of pieces and minifigs (why so many droids?) will surely make it quite expensive set. :(

Gravatar
By in United States,

Everything is awesome.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Imperial Shuttle is impressive with the amount of pieces also. Having missed out on UCS one 5 years ago, this is a must for myself!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Is that a new Darth Vader helmet? It looks to have a top and bottom piece.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Love the mini Ant Man stuff, massive Lego bricks and screws! Brilliant!

I'm a bit gutted the figures with the Shuttle Tyderium are so good coz the shuttle itself looks rubbish. Well, it might be pretty good, but 10212 is my most prized set. In all seriousness this was never going to hold a candle to it, but that doesn't make it any better that it doesn't, if that makes sense. :P

And the way Vader's helmet separates and the white head are making me want the final duel even more! Whoop!

Gravatar
By in Canada,

The Elves sets look fantastic! I am so excited for that theme! It, BIONICLE, and Ninjago are really competing for my attention this year but if I play my cards right I should be able to collect all three.

I got a giggle out of the large-scale bricks in the Ant Man set. A lot of people wondered how that set would manage to create an appropriate sense of scale. Now we know!

City and Ultra Agents sets look cool, but I don't have plans to collect those myself. My dad might like some of them, though. He's a big City fan.

By in United States,

Thanks, Huw. I figured that out later. It seems like 1200 pieces is a lot for a model that size. I say that because it looks similar in overall size to Benny's Spaceship. Definitely shorter and not as wide, but bulkier throughout the body.

I do like the Final Duel and the Tyderium, so those are definitely must-haves for me. Thank goodness only two OT sets in the summer wave with the UCS TIE and The Force Awakens sets. Gonna need a bigger wallet!

The City Space subtheme sounded interesting; at first I hoped it might have cooler models and be more like a near-future Earth, or transitional between the City and Classic Space sets (sort of like the movies Contact or Interstellar). Maybe in the next go-round...

Gravatar
By in United States,

I really hope that Rhino is only preliminary, it looks absolutely terrible brick built. I was hoping for a molded version like the Hulk. All the other marvel sets look great though! Carnage!!!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I just realised the bricks in the Antman set are a screw catapult. :)

Gravatar
By in United States,

The Ant-Man image is marked as confidential. I thought that was a Brickset no-no.

I really do like the elves sets. They did a good job turning a Friends horse into a Pegasus.

Gravatar
By in United States,

The Antman set is epic. Hank Pym, Yellowjacket, and Antman? All three? Love the "giant" Lego bricks. Can I have it now? The Miles Morales Spiderman/Carnage set is superb. Plus you get a generic Shield Agent? Is that set going to be $19.99?

I'm sure that the Rhino/Sandman set is final. Not liking the set or the brick-built Rhino at all, but the minifigs are great. Iron Spiderman is awesome, and finally a red-booted Spiderman...

I will buy the Tydirium and Final Battle sets on sight. A dual part helmet on Darth Vader is long, long overdue.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'm pretty disappointed with the Star Wars sets, to be honest. The cockpit on the Imperial Shuttle looks terrible, and the area around the cockpit of the Naboo Starfighter looks completely wrong for the 3rd time in a row. After seeing today's pictures, I've taken both off my wanted list.

Gravatar
By in United States,

@titanarch

I believe the white model below the Imperial Assault carrier is actually the Ghost, since they interlocked (fake Wookie transport) for a potential rescue in the first Rebels episode.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I hope those female minifig lovers are happy now, because they come in almost every CITY set.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Great pics thanks Huw. 2 sets there are a must have for me, the Star Wars Imperial Shuttle & the City Spaceport. Both look brilliant!

Gravatar
By in United States,

That agent's boat...Never thought I'd be someone to buy any of those sets, but...just wow. Also, the ant-man set has a watermark ;)

Gravatar
By in United States,

The new Super Heroes sets look awesome. Will definitely get those.

As for the Star Wars - If I want a Sabine minifigure with her helmet, then I have to buy a $130 Imperial Assault Carrier set? Boooo, Lego. That stinks!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

The watermark is printed on the box at the Toy Fair, but it would appear that photography was permitted so presumably LEGO have no problem with its publication.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I want the two medium sized space city sets. The 2 star wars episode 1 sets look superb. And the 3 marvel sets look AMAZING! Carnage looks great, Rhino; can't wait to get, and construction set looks great for rhino to blow up. And the 2 lego bricks in ant man set look interesting. I really am looking forward to summer because of A. get out of school. and B. LEGOS

Gravatar
By in United States,

The $20 sets are all great. The Agents boat is amazing!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Confound it, Lego. Y U MAKE HELMETED SABINE SO EXPENSIVE

Gravatar
By in Australia,

After the awful cream coloured Vader face from last year, the white faced Vader is a great improvement.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

@77ncaachamps - nope, like @Huw said as soon as the question had been asked it's absolutely definitely the back of the actual model, presumably looking more white than it should because of lighting or a flash. It's like a spot the difference competition where there aren't any differences!

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

People predicted pretty well that Sabine's helmet would appear in a larger, more expensive set. Well, at least we have a Sabine Wren figure now :)

I was really looking forward to Antimatters portal hideout, but really, that looks empty. It's just a platform on stilts. But is that a corrupted break jaw? There's also a remote controlled giant shark, so...

I really wonder what the prices are going to be?

Gravatar
By in Puerto Rico,

Ant Man looks amaizing, a must get for me.

Gravatar
By in United States,

The Ant-Man set is truly a must have! Loving the Elves sets, does the castle only have 3 figures? Seems like it could have one more at least

Gravatar
By in United States,

So the Carnage Spiderman set will be how much? Three figures usually equates to $20, but with only 97 pieces, I'd be very upset at that. I'd expect at least 180 or more for that price point. So I'm hoping it is 12.99.

Otherwise, some good sets that I would have otherwise passed on and some that I originally would have liked and now I do not... The DC super hero sets are disappointing for the price. These Marvel sets look more appealing.

And a new Leia and Han in the Shuttle set? That might be worthwhile.

Gravatar
By in Turkey,

I think TLG in love with Naboo Starfighter. They release 6 of them and 3 of them have very same building instruction and look. They released them 4 years apart. So next Naboo fighter will be release in 2019!

I don't understand this situation. They have unlimited scenes from 7 movies and they always do the same. They also have a great potential to create sets like 75052-1 Mos Eisley Cantina, bet they release that type of set once a year.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

That antman set is just amazing

Gravatar
By in United States,

Are there any websites that have the prices? The pictures are great but the price point is needed for me to figure out what I want.

And Sethro3 that Spiderman set I did see a price for, it's $12.99 USD.

Gravatar
By in United States,

When are these coming out?

Gravatar
By in United States,

Yes, LEGO was fine with photography on the watermarked image from Ant-Man. The only set that they had to remove for photography was an Architecture set.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

^ Interesting, which one?

Gravatar
By in Germany,

^76039 one of the superhero ones. big fat watermark that somehow slipped under LEGOs radar when making the booth at the fair.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

The model below the assault carrier is just a top down view of the carrier. ghost doesn't have green shooters!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Why does LEGO constantly redesign the Star Wars minifigures every single year?

Gravatar
By in United States,

Is this the first time we've seen two-tone Spiderman legs?

The lego bricks in the Ant Man set are adorable, I MIGHT get it just for them, but not really interested in Ant Man. Also that Vader helmet is great, that is a very fine set altogether.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

^^^Nope, that's the already explained Ant-Man set that there's a picture of, not an architecture set. ;)

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Man ... those Marvel sets are sweet. I can buy the Rhino, Sandman and Carnage on Bricklink, but that Ant-Man set is a *must*. I love the giant-scale Lego bricks, that's really clever.

I'm not so keen on the Divers or Space sets, although I'm fond of the double-rotored helicopter.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Why does LEGO keep making the same Naboo Starfighter set. The elements that are grey should be silver. Why is that so hard? I guess the set would be an extra $10-15 if they did that. At least it would be correct. And different.

Gravatar
By in Spain,

Must get that Carnage set...

Gravatar
By in Australia,

I can't believe the amount of cool sets coming out this year! I surprised the utility shuttle only has 150 pieces.

Gravatar
By in United States,

A lot of great stuff here, but I am especially excited about the printed "LEGO" tiles in the Ant Man set!!!

Gravatar
By in United States,

^are you sure? I assumed they were stickers.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I think the reason they keep making the Naboo Fighter is because it's one of the only iconic or memorable things from the prequels for anyone aside from die-hard prequel apologists.

I honestly couldn't describe any ship from the prequels aside from that one. Maybe a podracer.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Louvre?

Gravatar
By in Canada,

The ultra agents ship seems interesting...

Gravatar
By in Australia,

I actually really like the Rebels set, and I don't even watch the show!

I'm definitely getting the Imperial Shuttle, even if it looks a bit off, somehow. Great minifigs though. The Flash Speeder too. Not really interested in the Naboo Fighter, which I don't have yet. Maybe on sale.

The Final Duel is cool, but not really worth it if you have the Death Star. I'd rather spend the same money on a similarly-built Cloud City duel set, which I hope they do at some point!

The Ant-Man set is very cool, especially with the magnified LEGO bricks. Great touch by LEGO there!

Gravatar
By in United States,

The next time the they do a City Soace theme, they really should pull ideas from the hypersonic research craft and the SSTO from the 90s, the X-30 and X-33.

I mean for crying out loud. The X-33 Venture Star STILL looks futuristic and cool. These shuttles look like sad Soviet-era attempts at reusable spacecraft.

I guess on the plus side it frees up more of my budget for Star Wars sets, which look pretty good this year.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Ant-Man, new Darth helmet, and finally two-tone Spider-Man legs! What a year!

Gravatar
By in United States,

What's the deal with the gimp-suit Gungan?

The Agents series seems to be where designers are both the most inspired and having the most fun. Mighty tempted to start buying them.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Is the orange glow around the Star Wars minifigures an indication of whether or not they are "new"?

Gravatar
By in United States,

I love the Star Wars sets! Can NOT wait till we see TFA sets... Maybe we can finally know what's in the movie... Lol

Gravatar
By in France,

the elve's castle' s portal seems to be the same in the atlantis portal

Gravatar
By in United States,

There is a green lantern guy in the ultra agents boat.

Gravatar
By in United States,

The super villian team up looks like a hasbo playset

Gravatar
By in United States,

Are there other Rebels sets being released? I was hoping to get Sabine with her helmet in a smaller set. That's a cool Imperial ship though.

Gravatar
By in Ireland,

Hoth minifig (with new white cap) would appear to be one from the upcoming USC Hoth Echo Base later in the year.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Is that a new head for Leia?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Must resist urge to buy imperial shuttle!

Gravatar
By in United States,

The Carnage set is by far the best value. Can't believe LEGO put two great figures in such an inexpensive set!

Joker Land is over priced for only two new figures.

Agents theme has been putting out some nice figures.

Deep Sea sets are also surprising nice.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Now I might add a couple of UA sets to my collection.

And isn't the Ant-Man set great? LEGO made of LEGO made of LEGO made of LEGO...

Gravatar
By in Poland,

Wow! Awesome new Ultra Agents sets! Must add them to my collection!

Gravatar
By in United States,

@zipsforbananas, you're right.

I didn't see the other pictures in other blogs until this morning (Valentine's Day and all...) but the top of the actual model makes its way into the pic by overlapping the bottom of the box art.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

i think it is a good year for pices amaunt.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

The orange glow behind SW minifigs would seem to indicate 'new', which is a shame as there are a few figures there that were exclusives last year and seem to be in cheaper sets this year :-(

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

@Khanivor - "gimp-suit Gungan" - my word you're right! That looks properly out of place.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I must say I'm disappointed by the Star Wars sets. How many more Naboo Starfighters are they going to make? It doesn't look any different from the last one. And do we really need more Anakins, Battle droids and R2-D2s? I must have fifty Artoos by now. I can understand improving sets after several years, say ten. But there are so many vehicles, characters and locations in the Star Wars universe they must be able to give us something new.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I don't get the love for the Ant-Man set...because it has "big" lego? It's clever?

As a stand alone I guess it's good but it makes no sense in relation to every other set. Are we gonna get a bigfig Ant-Man later to represent his normal size in this set? Are we to play with this set in isolation only? Why didn't we just get a normal scale set with a microfig? Blah.

As for people commenting on "yet another...", this is what Lego does. An original idea, repeated every few years. Forever.

It's good for those that missed the early sets but really, Lego should make previous sets available on request and produce completely new ideas as new sets, not revamped old sets.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Good thing that the Carnage figure will finally exist outside of MOC.

So, I'm fine with the Tydirium but the front definitely looks a little too long. Maybe it's just the angle. Another Naboo Starfighter, I pass... The Flash Speeder does look great but if you want to add three minifigs, add the same amount of Battle Droids because it just looks bad... I'm not watching Rebels so allow me to...

Death Star Final Duel. This is a set I'll definitely buy! I mean... it's the climatic duel! I do remember there was the small sets for that Final Duel and it was the cheapest way to get a Stormtrooper, Vader and the Emperor. I remember that the Emperor was in the first Imperial Shuttle and the Stormtrooper being with the TIE Fighter. Vader was in the TIE Fighter (Advanced) vs Y-Wing set, one of the hardest figures to get. Having a Vader figure is always good but I'm curious on how they managed to make a dual piece helmet. I'm curious to see the play feautures and more. Who knows...

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Already a new advent calendar?

Gravatar
By in United States,

The new UA sets look nice, but i'm not into them. The Deep Sea City ones are pretty cool, but I don't buy City. The Space ones are just meh. Marvel is also meh. As for SW, they look pretty neat. I'll probably try and get the Naboo Starfighter and the Final Duel, they look best IMO. Does anyone know when the other SW photos will be released? Wanna see them. :P

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

it would be great if they add microfigures of the figures of the antman set
sorry for bad englisch

Gravatar
By in United States,

Im glad this wave of Star Wars only has 1 or 2 I want. I can stop the hemmoraging of my bank account for a bit.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Awesome! The UA sets are cool, though i'm not really interested in UA right now. I also think the city sets are pretty nice. I like the deep sea and space themes. The Spiderman sets look like the're for little kids if you ask me, but the're OK. Now for Star Wars. I'm a big SW fan so I was hoping for awesome sets, and I have to admit I was kind of dissapointed. The only set worth getting (as it looks to me) is the Naboo Starfighter. Mabye, just possibly, the Flash Speeder as well. And as for the Elves sets, I didn't even glance at them :P

CB out!

Gravatar
By in Australia,

I will be getting all the Marvel sets, but I'm glad that TLG are changing up the Spider-Man sets by using some of the alternate costumes, especially the Iron-Spider (makes me hopeful we might see a Scarlet-Spider or Spider-Man 2099 in the future). As for the UA sets, I'll probably get the sets from the second batch as I've gotten all but the Mission HQ from the first (waiting til I see it on sale).

As for the SW sets, with the vast wealth of vehicles & locations available to TLG, I can see how the release of yet another re-hash of previously done sets could cause irritation. Personally, I'm planning to just get certain ships that are of significance to me (the new Slave I set would having been my starting point if not for having purchased the Helicarrier). I would love to see TLG expand the SW range & include at least a few of the following vessels; Dash Rendar's Outrider, Nico Okarr's Redshifter, the Ebon Hawk, the Moldy Crow or even the Sith Leviathan...
