You can keep updated with merchandise based on Star Wars: The Force Awakens being revealed throughout the day at the Star Wars YouTube channel.

Box images are available after the break...

By in Australia,

Oh my word that's ugly. But it's essential if you want a Stormtrooper minifig right now.

Hopefully, if there's a second wave of sets that come out closer to the film's release, there'll be a cheaper set that contains some Stormtroopers.

By in Germany,

I think I'll just bricklink the figs, thank you very much!

By in Ireland,

Butt-ugly and the price per piece is just as poor as that black/orange X-wing.
Keep these announcements coming, my wallet is getting happier by the minute...

By in Belgium,

Completely agree with Duq.

By in Belgium,

what's up with these prices? 114,99 for a 792pc model? that's outrageous, I'd expect AT LEAST 1.000 pieces for a price that crosses the 100€ marker .. seems like I'm skipping Star Wars this time.

By in Germany,

Same here. That thing is even uglier than the black/orange X-Wing and is overprized as well.

By in Germany,

Quite a lot of money for a gray box...

By in Switzerland,

What's the deal with the disproportionate pricing? The EURO & GBP price is just stupidly rediculous compared to the US dollar prices! Is mexican cheap labor to blame? 90 US = 80 EUR, not 115 EUR.

By in Netherlands,

Actually, the euro prices in the official reveals often refer to Germany. Which is the lower end of the spectrum… :(

By in Netherlands,

Looks a bit like a seaworthy naval ship. I wonder if it will be used to land on water.

As for it's boxiness, it reminds me somewhat of a sandcrawler. It doesn't have too many angles though.

Gotta love those thrusters though!

By in Netherlands,

Although I too think that these sets are way overpriced, remember that EU prices include value added tax, whereas US prices are quoted without taxes applied. 115 EUR incl. VAT is about 96 EUR excl. VAT (assuming Germany's 19% VAT). Still higher, but makes more sense, since EU prices have always been higher than US prices, even in the times that the EU/USD exchange rate was a lot better (for Europeans) than it is know.

By in United Kingdom,

Please everyone, let's not keep calling it ugly.

It's REALLY, REALLY f'in ugly. Get it right. I've seen prettier welder's benches.

Still, it looks to be the only set with Captain Phasma in it so it will still sell, but it looks to be a giant battlepack right now - 2 x Stormies, 2 x firetroopers(?) and 2 x generic resistance types plus one highly sought-after character fig and some light bley block. The only reason I've seen to buy any of these so far is the figs. Not thrilled.

By in United Kingdom,

The Lego model is ugly as heck. The real thing is not. I should know, I built the real one!

By in Singapore,

I thought the black and orange x-wing was ugly. This is even worse. As a huge Star Wars fan I am very disappointed with these first two sets.

Gravatar
By in United States,

That IS ugly. And expensive, although it feels like a better deal then the X-Wing. This thing is supposed to be a spacecraft... that big box on top is a cockpit. If this wasn't the only way to get Stormies and Captain Phasma, I don't think this would sell at all.

By in United States,

Looks like something that'll be cool and imposing in the movie but, as states so many times before, terribly executed in brick form.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Idk why everyone doesn't like it, but I find that the only "ugly duck" of the line is Kylo Ren's shuttle.

Gravatar
By in United States,

It's ugly, but so are many real life military transport vehicles... Something about this is warming up to me.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

^xboxtravis7992, you said it. It's supposed to impose, not win a beauty contest.

Gravatar
By in United States,

The bley! The bley!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I think it looks OK... Is that bad? Anyway, you cant blame the designers of the set if you think its ugly, they didn't make it up. ( I'm presuming this will be in the film)

Gravatar
By in United States,

Gosh. You all have no respect for the source material. Imperial vehicals are supposed to look blocky and industrial. Look on wookipedia if you don't beileve me. I don't remember anyone complaining about the AT-AT!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Sorry everyone. I got a bit heavy handed there.
I'm sorry. I just wish people would keep an open mind. For those who like it, I salute you!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Ugh the set is missing two flame pieces for the FLAMEtroopers. Or perhaps I should be glad they skipped on those as the price would have been $100 with those added in.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I am going to go against the grain a bit here and say that I really like the look of this set. The set is a bit stubby perhaps, but the movie ship design strikes me as possibly having been inspired by WWII LST-type amphibious landing craft, which somehow seems period-appropriate to the seemingly Nazi-inspired design of the First Order accoutrements in general. On top of that, the minifig selection lets you have a battle right out of the box, and with only a couple of these sets, you'd have a formidable little First Order squad! I'm looking forward to this one.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

It is ugly but I do like how it resembles the wwII landing craft... Captain Phasma's silver blaster and pauldron are sweet.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Wow, I was thinking about getting this, but $90?? Jeez, it looks like a $60 set to me.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

@dragonhawk: There's a reason for that, you can't attach a flame piece to the end of those guns.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

For half the price, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Gravatar
By in United States,

@pagani88
They could have easily flipped the white barrel / round brick at the end of the gun, added another white barrel on top of it and attached a dragon fire piece to the new barrel. Yeah I knew I added 4 new pieces, which would have upped the price to $110

By in South Africa,

Guys - this reminds me of chunky submarine. Minifigs - especially the stormtroopers look good.

Gravatar
By in Puerto Rico,

I love that the Empire will finally get an "APC" but will wait for a sale on this and a couple more sets (X-Wing, Tie Fighter).

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

I remember when you needed two hands to lift a 115€-set.

Gravatar
By in Greece,

Ugly? Armored personnel carrying vehicles are supposed to look like this. That tends to maximize inner space and has a better armor for protection so please don't whine people :) And the price is steep but it has a ton of minifigs that TREMENDOUSLY drive the prices higher (especially if they are SW minifigs)

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

This was the one I really wanted, then I saw it in person. Dreadful looking thing.
