Images of 2016 Star Wars sets and minifigs

Posted by ,

The Finn polybag, 30605, that we posted pictures of last week is being found in the wild, and inside it there's a nice surprise: a sheet of paper with images of the 1HY 2016 Star Wars sets and the minifigures in them, which you will find after the break and in the database here.

I'm sure there's plenty to discuss, so go right ahead and let us know what you think about them in the comments.

Thanks to P.S. in Germany for the scans.

By in United States,

Wow, the TFA battlepacks look nice! Sucks you only get one normal trooper, though.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Wow! I want to get all of these.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Only thing I do not like, and I cannot stress this enough, are those stud shooter guns instead of the proper SW guns for the minifigs. At least put regular SW guns in those sets as well, if TLG insists on including those studshooters. What is the big deal?! That is only four more elements for every set/battle-pack.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

You sure that TLG's lawyers aren't gonna get mad over the images of 75131/75132?

Gravatar
By in Canada,

I don't know why, but all i want from these sets are the escape pod.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

^^ That's a risk we'll have to take.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I am glad these have finally appeared properly so we can discuss them. I saw them a couple of months ago and it has been very difficult to keep quiet!

Anyway, the Battle Packs look great. I love the Resistance Soldier minifigures which achieve a perfect balance between the rugged and ramshackle idea of freedom fighters with the possibility of army building as each is generic enough to be repeated. The speeder is quite a nice little model too! I am slightly disappointed that only one standard First Order Stormtrooper is included in the First Order Battle Pack but I love that new Deck Officer minifigure with the black officer uniform and I am delighted that the heavy gunner is also making an appearance.

The Battlefront Battle Packs are even better. I love all the minifigures in both and am particularly pleased to see a new jetpack element included. It is a shame that only the stud-shooters appear in the sets but they do increase the play value so their inclusion is justified in my opinion even though I would prefer standard blaster variations.

75135 Obi-Wan's Jedi Interceptor looks about as good as an Eta-2 ever will and I am pleased that the set has been made to accompany Anakin's yellow model, although it is still not a set which I am very excited about.

The Droid Escape Pod set is probably the set I have been most eager to discuss. The escape pod itself looks absolutely dreadful. Although the angled hull from 9490 Droid Escape was too steep, it looks better than having no gradient at all in my opinion. However, I will be glad to get a couple more Jawas and it is a nice to see that C-3PO minifigure appear in a relatively inexpensive set for fans who are not interested in 75059 Sandcrawler. I also believe that 2x2 tile shows the Death Star plans which is a humorous, if not entirely accurate, inclusion.

75137 Carbon Freezing Chamber is my favourite of the sets shown here. I, like many others, am still hoping for a much larger Cloud City set to be released but I think this one looks excellent considering its size. The architecture is absolutely brilliant and the Ugnaught is a fantastic minifigure, although I would have liked to see Lando Calrissian appear in his administrative uniform too.

Finally, 75138 is one I am less interested in. The turret and Probe Droid have both been represented more accurately in earlier sets and the minifigures are of little interest to me, although one can never have too many Snowtroopers or Rebel Troopers. It is nice to see Han appearing in his brown parka outside that polybag though. After all, the costume was brown in the movie so it makes me smile to see that represented here in a more readily available set.

There are still several more sets to be revealed and those include many of the better ones in my opinion so if this selection doesn't excite you, just wait and see what more is to come!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Sets look fantastic! Love the Carbon Freezing Chamber and the Ugnaught fig. Great job! By the way, where was the #30605 found in the wild?

Gravatar
By in United States,

So awesome! In particular I want that Escape Pod set with the Lego tile with the Death Star plans printed on it.

Also of note is that the Disney logo is strangely absent from this sheet.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Wait, is it just me, or are some of the figs from 75131 yellow??

Anyway, first I've seen of these, but some nice sets, I know I'll probably pick up a few.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I can't help but feel a tad disappointed by the TFA packs. Only one Stormtrooper in the First Order one, and no BB-8 in the Resistance one? I'll still buy them, but I guess I'll have to get Poe's X-wing Fighter and the First Order Transporter too, now...

LEGO is so expensive.

Gravatar
By in Kuwait,

Great! I want them all! Fan freaking tastic!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Hmm, well 3 of them grab my interest, but not much more than that :/. A definite 'yes' to the First Order battle pack and the Carbonite chamber, and a maybe to the Jedi Interceptor, but as for the rest... meh.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Loving some of the new figures seeing as some of these will be low priced sets, just a shame most sets are rinse and repeat from years gone by, even a few previous revisions for some of them.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Still no Luke Skywalker Minifig. Does that seems odd to anyone else?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

The force awakens battle pack only comes with two stormies? And only one is a standard one? How am I supposed to build an army with that??!!!

Very happy with Obi Wan's Jedi Interceptor though, I have wanted his one for years... (I didn't collect Lego when the original one came out in the Ultimate Space Battle)

I'm loving the Battlefront Imperial pack, the stormies with battle damage and the Shock Trooper styled one look great!

Gravatar
By in Germany,

Pretty nice. Escape pod looks horrid, though.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Most of these just seem like add-ons to other sets. Hopefully they give us more cloud city and that hoth base we've heard about

Gravatar
By in United States,

I am so glad I'm not a Star Wars collector. Poor fans either have an almost worthless collection that get rehashed year after year, or they have to spend a lot of money to have 100 variations of the same things in their collection.

I rather stick with my valuable creator series collection.

Gravatar
By in United States,

The OT sets look pretty appealing, as does Obi-Wan's Jedi Interceptor. There hasn't been a red one released since 2005's 7283 Ultimate Space Battle, a Target exclusive I believe. About time for an updated version.

@xccj Their faces do look yellow, but one of them has flesh-colored hands, and the other two wear black gloves. I believe the yellow coloration is from printed-on "masks" they may be wearing.

Gravatar
By in Greece,

Just wow... First time i love nearly ALL sets in a single release!! Jawas, Stormtroopers, bikes, rebels!!! Gotta catch em all!!!

Gravatar
By in United States,

I see a set designer was really hyped for Star Wars Battlefront! Either way I like how they are focusing on some more Episode 5 battles with this wave. The new troop designs look really nice, especially the Shock one!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Come on Lego, rerelease the UCS millennium falcon or do a UCS cloud city already, nice to see a Han in carbonite in a low priced set though!

Gravatar
By in United States,

One of the best runs of battle packs in years! Finally Ugnaught and Jawas (in an affordable set). Too bad there aren't Sandpeople in one of these sets, and I'd be a happy OT fan. Amazing classic soldier look on those resistance fighters.

I think I just heard the WWII MOCworld jump for joy. Now to being a MOC of Chewie pulling C3PO parts off of a conveyor belt. Glad I have a few of those in the parts bin.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I'm quite disappointed with the first order battle pack. They should of put 2 first order stormtrooper and 2 stormtroopers with the armour.

Gravatar
By in United States,

am i the only one that thinks the battle packs look like prototype pictures of the final sets? they seem....unfinished?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Some nice sets I here, especially that Carbonite freezing chamber!

Given that there is a Hoth set here, does this put paid to the rumours of a Hoth UCS set?

Gravatar
By in United States,

I want all of them. Even if they are all a bit small.

Gravatar
By in Russian Federation,

Carbon Freezing Chamber doesn't look accurate enough to my mind. These huge walls are made so ordinary.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Hm. Obi-Wan's fighter is another Eta-2. Haven't we had enough of those? I was hoping for his ship from Ep.2- I like the original Aethersprite over the clone wars version or the Eta-2.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Apart from the figs, these sets look pretty awful, specialy Droid Escape and the two Empire sets. Previous Droid Escape and Hoth sets were nicer, and Carbon Chamber should be much bigger. Disappointed.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Then price of jawa's in the second hand market is going to plummet next year

Gravatar
By in United States,

I don't like the sets all that much. I do, however, really like the minifigs. And I'm not big on minifigs to begin with.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

If the pictures are accurate it looks like R4-P17 has a metallic dark red head!

Does such a colour exist already?

Gravatar
By in United States,

9490 better than 75136.

And the Bespin set is less then impressive. Yet another Boba Fett and another Han in Carbonite, but no Lobot.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Boba Fet *and* a frozen Han Solo? I guess I know which set I'm buying in 2016! :D

Gravatar
By in Puerto Rico,

I will be getting all of the battle packs (two of the Imperial Battlefront) and both Droid Escape and the Hoth Expansion pack (would have loved to have a Tauntaunt.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

So no Cloud City Lando... damn

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I hereby predict that the price of that Escape Pod is going to make your eyes water.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Lots of people seem to think that the jawas are really rare... You do know that there's already one in this year's star wars advent calendar, don't you?

Gravatar
By in Canada,

The probe droid from 75014: Battle of Hoth was so much better and the escape pod from 9490: Droid Escape was also superior (although I do like the new engines). I wish the carbon freezing chamber was a lot bigger with more minifigs (like 75093-1: Death Star Final Duel).

Overall, far more positives than negatives though! Jawas in a set under $300? Awesome. The thing I am most excited for is the Ugnaught minifig though. It looks amazing. I will be getting multiples of most of the OT and Battlefront sets. The Duros and Rodian from the Battlefront set will look great in 75052: Mos Eisley Cantina!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

@pagani88 - True, although a single Jawa is next to useless.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

More important than these new set pictures: where has the Finn poly been found in the wild? How do I get one?

Gravatar
By in United States,

Wake me when the next UCS is announced, and it better NOT be from Ep IV-VI...

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'm most likely to get Obi-Wan's interceptor. I love the colors, and as others have said, I wasn't in the game when the previous version was attainable.

As a Hoth-fan, though, 75138 is about as unexciting as a Hoth set could possibly be.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I will get most of these- but it still strikes me as odd that every time LEGO came out with an Eta-2, the design got worse. This interceptor is very movie inaccurate to my eyes, considering that the Eta-2 is one of my favorite vehicles from Star Wars, and I have parted together Anakin's interceptor from 2005 very meticulously- I didn't get USB when it was on sale, and that too for a very limited time. The 2005 ones were great.
Everything else is great- that Escape Pod is FANTASTIC. Lego needs more years like 2016 for Star Wars designers.

Gravatar
By in United States,

There also seems to be a half buried DS plans tile in the escape pod set.

Gravatar
By in United States,

The escape pod doesn't even look like how it appeared in ANH.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

@CapnRex101: Very true! :)

Gravatar
By in United States,

I know I'm probably out of the loop here, but why are some of the minifigures yellow skinned? Are they aliens, or is it a throwback to early LEGO Star Wars days, or what?

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

I am happy to see these images revealed.
I have been most eager to discuss The Carbonite Freezing Chamber and the Hoth set. To be blunt: both are disappointing.

First the CFC. I have been waiting, well for ever for this set, and what a miss by LEGO this is indeed. It is just to small. It feels like more than half of it is missing, I can only hope this has been set up similar to the Jabba's Place and Rancor sets. Maybe we will be seeing the other half next wave? Not likely but I will keep hoping.
If you have bought Slave 1 or Jabba's Palace not so long go, this set really doesn't add at all. Boba and Han have been done before. Not even the Chamber is fully done! Just the Ugnaught makes it worth yout money. Good job financal team at LEGO, I will pay good money for stuff I alreaddy own.

Next the Hoth set. This is even worse than the CFC. Han, the Probe Droid, the turrent, wait... everyting in this set has been done before. So this adds nothing to the previous sets. Ofcours X-wings, Snowspeeders and Millenium Falcons have all been done in more versions, but (although open for debate) always with the additions of new part, figures or just becaus these are iconing models. Can't find anything special in this set?!
It kinda feels like a 'warm-them-up-set' for the upcoming UCS Eco Base 75098. If that is still to be released? It has been awfully quite concerning this set....

These are quite the negative comments on these sets. But I have had some time to give them my thoughts and both sets really are a disappointment.
The other sets in the wave (revealed for now) are really great. Excellent minifigs. Great armybuilders.

Gravatar
By in Poland,

Pierantoni pdf already taken out? Did you see those baloons?

Gravatar
By in United States,

Definitely must buys for me.

Gravatar
By in United States,

To everyone wondering about the yellow Resistance figures, I have one word: VISORS

Gravatar
By in United States,

They should have done two Imperial battlepacks: One with 2 Stormtroopers, a flametrooper, and a heavy trooper and if they really wanted to put in the Imperial crew and officers, they could have done a separate battlepack. Unless the Imperial Crew are also ground troopers for the First Order? But then they could have made a separate battlepack. And does anyone notice the battlepack models are smaller than usual?

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Finally! I'll definitely get the Imperial/FO packs plus the Escape Pod . The Imperial Shock Trooper, and FO officer looks very nice. But I do hope they include more trooper instead of "crew member" though. And it'll also be great if the BF pack has one regular stormie with no battle scars. Stud shooters are fine but it will be a bit awkward to put these troopers beside those who have normal weapons. Restitanse Troopers are not so appealing to me, they look like wearing motorhelmets with yellow visors? rebels are better and the bike looks good. Carbonite chamber is interesting but it seems boba doesn't have arm printing.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Although I wish the First Order Battle Pack had more stormtroopers, I'm still excited to pick it up. The Droid Escape and Carbon Freezing Chamber look good, too!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Love the diversification of the Rebels pack. Great to get a Rodian and a Duros minifig.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I liked when the jawa fig's eyes were smaller.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Yes! Finally pics of the TFA BP's!

I do wish that there were 2-3 stormtroopers in the First Order Battle Pack, the other figures are OK. The turrent is 'meh' IMO, but it could probably be made better w/ some quick modification.

The Resistance BP looks fantastic, love the figures...

Gravatar
By in United States,

What's with the yellow faces? The rest looks pretty awesome.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Anyone else notice that 3PO appears to have the silver section on his right leg? That's the way it appears on the image of just figs anyways.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

^I noticed that as well, although C-3PO has already appeared with decorated legs before in the sand crawler. I already own the previous escape pod so I won't be picking this one up.

@Dalek135, I also noticed they seem to be smaller than usual. The models in battle packs have always been on the small side, but these seem smaller than usual, especially the Imperial packs which have rather pathetic looking models. I really love the new revised speeder bike though, after over a decade they've finally updated the design.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Hey I'm watching Genesis of the Daleks, Thebrickdoctor!

Gravatar
By in Germany,

All those Imps better not have that grumpy clone face...

Gravatar
By in Japan,

Oh these are all tiny sets...
I just want the UCS set of STARKILLER BASE!!

Gravatar
By in Australia,

The only thing wrong with these sets are all the whining man children complaining it's not good enough for this reason or that.

It's always the comments that let this site down. Be happy you get anything season by season

Gravatar
By in United States,

To those of you who think some of the minifigs are yellow skinned. If you look at the pictures closely, you can see they have a yellow visor in front of their face, thus the yellow hue. But yeah, not to worry, they are regular fleshies. :)

Gravatar
By in United States,

I wish they would do another Tantive IV

Gravatar
By in Singapore,

The battle packs are definitely cheaper alternatives from the current Force Awakens sets. I'm just disappointed with the stud shooters. Lego is obviously telling me that if I want the standard blaster I'll have to buy the large expensive set.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Brickset needs to change it's name to "place where grown men cry about toys for children". Are you serious? These comments crying about the FA battle packs aren't just 4 storm troopers. Um calm down. Then to complain about the stud shooters... They are pushing stud launchers for the kids. These sets are for kids. Just because a huge community of adults collect stuff for kids doesn't mean the company always has to pander to that community. They make huge collectible sets for adults. Many of the those adults then go and complain about the price of those sets.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

@mucktard, I agree that some people do whine a bit too much on this website, but everyone has their own opinions and are allowed to express them.
@Dalek135, ah, Genesis of the Daleks, what a marvelous story.
Sorry for getting a bit off topic.

Gravatar
By in Hungary,

I'll continue the whining by saying I don't like the stud shooters at all.

Gravatar
By in Austria,

I'll get the Escape Pod and maybe the Freezing Chamber on a discount, but I'll sure as hell stock up on that Imperial Battle Pack, though I'd have liked 3 normal STs better than the red one. The Rebel Battle Pack, I only need once from the looks of it.
Anyway, I'll also get one of each of the Episode 7 BPs, just to get some useful minifig parts and convert the E7 stormtroopers into New Republic soldiers by replacing the helmet. Of the "resistance" BP, I expected more variety and maybe a female fighter This wave is severely lacking women. Overall I'd rate it 7/10 though.

Gravatar
By in {Unknown country},

It's really hard not to think these are very old building instructions I found somewhere in a corner of my room :P

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

So who is the real whiner here? The supposed whiners, or the whiner who has nothing himself to add to the discussion apart from whining about others for expressing themselves and giving their opinion on these new sets. It seems to me that Mucktard with his laments and pejorative reference to other bricksetters as 'man children' himself qualifies for that title.

I enjoyed reading and value all other comments given here about these new sets. Looking forward to getting the majority of them once they are released.

Gravatar
By in {Unknown country},

Any idea who/what that blue guy in the Rebellion Battle Pack is supposed to be?

Gravatar
By in {Unknown country},

^^^Only battlepacks have stud-shooters, other bigger sets have "real" weapons. It's just a coincidence that in this case only the non-battlepack OT sets are supposed to have blasters.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I wonder if Lego is planning to make the Battlepacks even cheaper, because the models in this wave are smaller(or appear to be) than last wave's. But hey, I'll still buy a few. In fact, if they are cheaper, I can buy more and build a massive army of Imperial Stormtroopers.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I do like that they have finally put starship crew in cheaper sets, rather than those $50 Tie Fighters

Gravatar
By in United States,

By the way, does anyone know what the model in the Star Wars Battlefront Imperial Battle Pack is?

Gravatar
By in United States,

Having even a single First Order Stormtrooper in the battlepack will still bring the price down on ebay/bricklink, and they will probably be able to be bought for $3-4. So if you want a lot of the figure, just buy them in bulk, not the battlepack.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

I don't like the stud shooters either, but since most of the larger sets include enough weapons to arm additional soldiers. I think it could be solved by making some Battlepacks for kids to play with, and armybuildersets for all those who just want more minifigures.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Is it a Duros, or a Chiss? Duros have orange eyes and Chiss have red eyes. I can't tell what color the eyes are on this minifig. That is to say that these EU races still exist in the Disney verse :/
Grand Admiral Thrawn (the minifig I always wanted) was a Chiss: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Chiss

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Cloud City hopefuls shouldn't be put off by the sight of the carbon freeze set. If anything it makes the possibility of a larger Cloud City set more likely, as this one only gives half of the chamber. The other half, with an extra section leading off for Vader and Luke to duel in, could very likely clip on.

Also the only battle pack of any interest to me is the rebel one, for the rodian and duros heads. The First Order pack is a great disappointment, having only one regular stormtrooper.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'm with Bobsy. Lego came out with the Death Star mega playset, but also gave us smaller playsets of areas found in the Death Star - like the Emperors Chamber and the Death Star Troopers pack, which came with a different version of the D.S. laser from what we see in the mega playset. Offering one may be a test to see if a larger version could market well.

Gravatar
By in United States,

@ krklint - The face here seems to strongly resemble that of Cad Bane, whose minifig had red eyes as a Duros: http://legostarwars.wikia.com/wiki/Cad_Bane

The lines on the face seem consistent, as well. I would expect a Chiss face to look very close to human in every respect but color.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Cheap wave for me. Just Kenobi's Eta and the FO Stormtroopers.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Why do little kids have to like those stud shooters so much. They are just ugly and look nothing like an actually SW gun. :(

Gravatar
By in United States,

@ModularRoger, good call on the Cad Bane similarities. I never had that minifig, so I had to look it up in the database. Always nice to see expansion of alien faces/skin tones. really nice for sci-fi MOCups later on.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Definitely getting the carbonate freezing. Ifyou look carefully, the faces aren't yellow they are a mask. You can see some white skin below the yellow mask. But might have to get the set just for the helmets...

Gravatar
By in United States,

I like the figs in the battlepacks; the Restiance/Rebels and the FO/Empire are so similar they can be displayed together. Obi-Wan's Starfighter is a big draw (my last Jedi Starfighter was in 2005...). The last three are so-so for me, maybe I could go for the escape pod.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

@ The Big Legoski

Say what you will, and derive any conclusion based on my observations, clearly you are in the majority of feeling hard done by because a toy company doesn't cater to your individual needs, giving you the soap box to which you relay your dismay and disappointment.

Here is an idea - how about if you don't like something, you don't buy it?
But no, the man children (of which i am gladly a member) sit and cry foul because it wasnt created with them in mind.

I for one think that majority of the sets are a clear and blatant cash grab, it does not stop me from buying every set. Its what i do and how i conduct myself. It does not reserve the right as a consumer to sit and complain and whine about every little thing to the point that if a new set is released, for every positive comment, there are no less than 5 to counteract it.

TL:DR - Eat it. I reserve my right to comment on what i believe to be a viable concern of all the whinging brickset members carrying on like they are personally owed a view point with a company for consuming a very insignificant portion of their overall business.

I'll be sure to keep an eye out for you, because i am guaranteed i hit a nerve, meaning you fall into the category to which i pointed out.

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/c/c1/Kleenex-small-box.jpg

I'm sure you will need a few in the coming months given all the announcements.

Gravatar
By in Malaysia,

@Missing Brick I agree.

I'm already getting DC-15A rifles, DC-15S carbines and E-11 blasters for my clone troopers and stormtroopers. Will add other weapons to the future purchases list which will include soon to be released weapons...

Gravatar
By in Malaysia,

The Snowtrooper backpack is the one let-down out of the entire lot. But I'm definitely looking forward to the others.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'm really digging the battlepacks, especially the Rebels! However, and I don't mean to sound like 'that guy who complains that Lego is constantly re-hashing old designs' because I'm actually drawn towards Obi-Wan's Jedi Interceptor, BUT we are seriously long overdue for another TIE Interceptor and TIE Bomber.

Gravatar
By in Belgium,

Good thing many FOL's like them because I do not. I feel they're very uninspired. Whenever there's a newer version of a set, like the escape pod, I feel it should be significantly better than the previous version back in its day, and it just doesn't for me. Yes there minifigures are probably better but in general the sets feel to fall a bit short.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I noticed that a lot of people are complaining about the first order shock trooper and the fact that there is only one normal trooper in the TFA battle pack. But, these stormtroopers are just regular FO troopers and the only difference between the regular and the shock are that they are just normal ones wearing vests with extra ammo for their "Machine guns." If you look at photos and posters of these characters you will notice this.
I hope this changed your view on these guys and improve your view on them.
They are very interesting minifigs and people should enjoy them for their uniqueness.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

@rex501
I agree, they are both regular stormtroopers. Actually I like the fact that there is variation, and that not all stormtrooper minifigs look identical. Just like the other three minifig 'battlepacks' sets, the TFA trooper pack is very nice. I already said my piece about the exclusion of proper SW blasters (I already bricklinked some blasters, but I hope TLG will include them next to the stud-shooters in the future). Anyway all those minifigs look fantastic. The Battlefront ones are my favourite.

Out of the eight sets here, six of them are on my 'must have' wish list. The only one which is not is the Carbon freeze installation set. I don't see the point of getting it only for the Ugnaught minifig, when the other minifigs are also in Slave I, unless I can get hold of it for a very cheap price. The carbon freezing installation I can MOC myself. I am undecided on the Escape pod set with the Jawa's.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Ah I see now. Cool!

Gravatar
By in United States,

I prefer my Red Jedi Starfighter from 2005, personally. But it's nice to have R4's entire body present as opposed to just a head.

75133 and 75134 are from the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront game and represent unlockable skins in-game. I find it funny that LEGO is making sets off of T-rated games such as Battlefront and The Force Unleashed yet won't allow any discussion of the games on the official LEGO Message Boards. Heck, they won't even allow discussion about Bionicle Heroes for DS, a T-rated video game! I wish LEGO would stay consistent with its standards.

75137 looks like a cheap way to get Boba Fett and the Han Solo in Carbonite case that Minifigures can stand in.

Gravatar
By in United States,

this is awesome!!! I cant wait.

Gravatar
By in United States,

there are pics of sets 75140 ,75141 and 75142 on brickipedia. set 75140 is the TVC2, i have no clue what the is, but it looks its from TFA. set 75141 is Kanan's speeder bike. And set 75142 is another Homing Spider Droid.

Gravatar
By in United States,

The spider droid looks identical to the last one, except with stud shooter modifications

Gravatar
By in United States,

Want TFA Battle packs, freezing chamber and escape pod

Gravatar
By in United States,

Awesome sets! Now I can get a battlepack with two FO troopers! Totally in love with the Battlfront battlepacks!

Gravatar
By in Germany,

Anyone else noticed, that if the colors are right, the First Order seems to use red blasters while the Resistance has blue ones? As far as I remember Imperial Stormtroopers had blue ones while the one the Rebels used were red, what I alsways found a bit strange in the very symbolic world of Star Wars.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I think they both used red
