The new lighthouse 31051 is not as interesting as I had hoped it would be.
It is a shame it is red-white just as the previous lighthouse. Although red-white lighthouses are common they do also come in e.g. white-black.
The small building is also very childish compared to the previous more realistic version.
Love the look of the RV!
I love the red car that comes with the gasstation. I think it's a shame these kind of buildings (like the firestation, policestation) don't come with a large groundplate....
The RV looks very nice.
I will pass. Not much to really perk my interest.
Octan station is perfect, but the wheels to RV seems to be too small.
Gas station has 2 in 1 model ? Alternate bilds are coming back for more theams?
The old lighthouse from a couple of years back I liked better, but this one looks okay, too.
The RV is awesome, definately a must-buy for me. And more Ninjago dragons, nice - the skies in my apartment are getting crowded...
I found a heap of Nuremberg photos here: http://www.hothbricks.com/2016/01/nuremberg-toy-fair-2016-cest-parti/
Alternate build option for the already very neat gasstation is awesome! I hope to see more alternate builds in the city theme!
Swap out the white for tan on that RV and a few custom characters could equal a Breaking Bad MOC :)
I also instantly associated to a Breaking Bad lego set when I saw the RV :D
I must've missed it somewhere along the way, but when are these sets due out? In the summer?
Yeah, a new RV for the fleet! I've built up quite a collection of them.
The Gas Station is a must for me.
The RV looks good, but I feel like it's gonna be too gigantic for my city streets. I'm not a Bionicle fan, but I kinda like the animal-themed sets, in particular the jungle insect creature and the fire bird. They look nice.
Very excited about the lighthouse (brick built orca!) and petrol station although I agree with McBoom about the lack of a baseplate. The red car looks great too and I'm hoping it can take two minifigures.
^Those Bionicle sets are already out.
All the creator sets look fabulous! I really like the orca in the lighthouse set.
Minecraft just looks awful.
Gas station is pretty awesome, and it has an alternate model! More of that, please!
...dear God. Those summer Bionicle sets are horrible. WHY, LEGO?!
Gas station looks impressive. for a collection that, it is necessary.
Did anyone notice the set 'Airshow'? Seemed like a very nice set with several planes and a hangar! That's a bit new on LEGO's side...
I do feel like the bridge with spiderman is good but could still be much improved.
Pics of the Marvel, DC, Nexo Knights and other themes have been on the internet since like 2 or 3 days ago. I think they are not posted here!
I love most of the summer Nexo Knights sets by the way. I haven't been so excited about an original Lego theme since the Monster Fighters!
^ We will be posting them when we have high quality ones from Andres, who is also providing us with images of the boxes for the database in the next day or so.
Unlike other sites we are not just copying images and 'stealing' traffic from the German sites that have put in the hard work to get them, only to have them plastered everywhere usually without permission.
Look! The petrol station has a car with proper, non-sticky out wheels! I like the RV, and the NRG dragon is great. The only part I don't like about it is the lower jaw. Too small.
Thanks for adding the videos and links, really appreciate it!
The Camper is really great, I'm impressed with much of the Creator sets. I might actually buy the camper, but will probably be able to get it on sale, as is the fate of most "Town" sets.
Also digging the brick built animals, especially the blue jay.
@Huw that's fine, I know how hard you guys work and that's why I'm here :)
Just pointing that out for anyone who doesn't know and is dying to see them.
The alternate build in the city theme seems pretty cool. It will allow people to continue to but things that have been around for years in one form or another without having to have too many repeats.
@Huw - I've heard loads of people saying we can't see Star Wars pics as lego don't want pictures of their new show sets or is this wrong and thanks for all of the hard work for these images any way :)
I like the gas station a lot. The camper is great too.
With Bionicle Umarak the Destroyer and Lava Beast look good, the rest look kind of meh. Not sure about Ekimu, I will either love him or hate him... no in-between!
I have never enjoyed Lego's Minecraft sets. I love Lego, and I love playing Minecraft on my Xbox... But every time I see Lego Minecraft sets I think they are an uninspired pile of 2x4 bricks with bad minifigures.
I am not a fan of Ninjago, but I am glad there are some great sets coming out for the fans of that theme.
The new Bionicles look great, but Umarak the Destroyer looks a little awkward, but the beasts certainly are kaiju-like.
@Missing Brick, I sure hope not! Also, was it ever confirmed Greenpeace ever had any causative effect on the retiration of the collaboration with Shell?
Finally an alt model for a City set in the set itself again :D
So far I'm not overly impressed with the 2016 LEGO sets. I think 2015 was a much better year for LEGO. 2015 offered Pirates, LEGO Dimensions (including BTTF), the monster minifigure series, scooby doo, the very limited edition batpod (which I am slowly collecting the pieces for to build) and many others tooooooo . For 2016, I do like the new city park set. If the Bus Stop is a printed tile, I will be picking up a few sets for this single part for MOC. If it is a decal - I will likely pass on this set too. Oh well - what I don't spend on new sets will likely be spent on ebay picking up 90's classic pirate sets.
@ggfile
One thing I really do like about the Park set is how it's basically just a minifigure pack. Imagine if Lego starts to do this more for other themes, if "Battle Packs" are more like 80%/20% figs/extras instead of the current roughly 50%/50%. I'd love that.
