First images from New York

Posted by ,

The Brick Show team has started posting images from New York on their website. However, the interest in them is causing a bit of a strain on their server at the moment so I've reposted them on flickr so if you have problems accessing the links below, use flickr instead. Hopefully that will enable The Brick Show team to access it and upload more.

Take a look and let us know what you think of them in the comments!

Darn it, still no sign of XXXXX - {Untitled Dr. Strange} :/

503 error when I click the links.

I suspect The Brick Show's server is struggling with the traffic, so we are reposting some of the most interesting images here.

By in United States,

Or a really humorous way of saying they actually have no favorites.

Yes, brickshow.tv is struggling a bit. I've asked Jason if he's OK with us hosting them here.

Ultimately, people can have some patience. It won't matter if see them now or in an hour.

Don't worry guys, Brick show is back up again. It's slow, but working. I'll continue to post articles over there throughout the day :D

P.s. Thanks for heading over there guys! Our page-views for this month just sky-rocketed!

@melkor Wow, that site legit posted every theme EXCEPT for the one I wanted to see most there, Mixels. But anyhow, thanks, Nexo Knights looks great!

@Mymaker Rex, I've posted images on flickr to attempt to take the strain. Hope that's OK, I did email Jason but no reply yet.

By in Ireland,

Were Mixels there?

I won't be too disappointed if they weren't, as they were at Nuremberg.

It is working, but indeed slow...

By in Canada,

The links work for me.

Looks like we get a Grand Moff Tarkin minifig and Dengar(?) (in the "Eclipse Fighter" set).

The AT-TE looks a bit inaccurate... I'm interested to see it from a few more angles.

By in {Unknown country},

Just took a look at them the few minutes they were available. Honestly I'm kinda disappointed, as it doesn't have any set that I really seem to like.

By in Netherlands,

what? no 1000 pices+ sets for star wars this year, what a dissapointment.

By in United Kingdom,

@Huw Yeah that's great. That should help disperse the traffic over on to other pages so we can get our backs up. Thanks :)

By in Singapore,

Images are low resolution so I can't see the minifigs on the box clearly. But it's as I've said before, I'm disappointed the Resistance X-wing isn't an improved version of Poe's X-wing. A-wing and Vader's TIE Advanced look nice. Just wish they were based on the original trilogy, not a TV series, because for me the character designs are visually ugly.

Seems to be some new characters in the Star Wars sets. All white, no hair and yellow hands :-D

The UCS label just lost all credibility with me.

Star wars is looking good!

What about Creator and City? Are those themes represented at NYTF?

"The Brickset Effect" - not always a good one! xD

Really disappointed the Samurai X Cave and Airjitzu Temple Grounds are not shown, judging from the pics we got. >:( I hope they will be revealed in the coming few days, but I'm not getting my hopes up to high for that.

Ok guys, the Site is FULLY OPERATIONAL AGAIN! Woop! Creator pics and Friends just uploaded now. I'm doing Hoth after that, then a mix-match article of pictures I forgot from each article, and then a round-up analysis. Gonna be a long night! :D

Wow - some of the Summer 2016 Ninjago sets look fantastic! Can't say I feel the same love for Star Wars, though. :-(

Another X-Wing only different colours? Another Clone Tank?.........wow....thats really lame......

Gravatar
By in United States,

Sigh.... looks like I'll be working just to buy Legos for my son and I!!!!

By in Canada,

@legoverslinder

The Rogue One sets will probably have one or two sets of 1000+ pieces.

Gravatar
By in United States,

No city yet?

By in Canada,

@ComaDelirium: Complaints about the X-Wing I can understand, but it's been six years since the last Clone Turbo Tank, so it's easily due for an update.

Really pleased with the Brick Show's photos and videos of Ninjago and Nexo Knights, but disappointed that their coverage of LEGO Elves seems to be a lot more lacking.

No news on the ucs SnowSpeeder that's the set I'm really looking forward to. Like the clone wars tank not sure on the hoth scene will wait for more info.

By in Australia,

70589 has the X-wing canopy. Awsome stuff. Must get it as well as 70593. That green dragon looks pretty cool. Love the wings.

By in Australia,

I love the look of the Tie Advanced, probably the only Star Wars set from the wave I'll pick up apart from the Advent Calendar. Now that I've seen the Lugga Beast up close I can see that it is far too blue, but that's not hard to change if I buy it.

What I'm really annoyed about is the Resistance X-wing Fighter. The X-Wing is my favourite Star Wars ship, but releasing two within a year of one's release is ridiculous. From comparing photos of the two sets there's absolutely no difference from Poe's apart from colour. I just find that LEGO was just feeling really lazy and couldn't be bothered coming up with a new idea which is saddening.
