Rogue One prices and piece counts revealed
Posted by CapnRex101,
We have known for a few weeks that the first wave of sets based on Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will consist of eight sets, three of which will be Buildable Figures.
These will probably be released on the 30th of September along with the rest of the initial Rogue One merchandise. The prices and piece counts for each set have been revealed on a German retailers' site, Exoneit, and these are listed after the break, although they are currently unverified so are subject to change.
System:
- 75152 {?} - 385 pieces - €39.99, £34.99, $29.99
- 75153 {?} - 449 pieces - €49.99, £39.99, $39.99
- 75154 {?} - 543 pieces - €69.99, £59.99, $69.99
- 75155 {?} - 659 pieces - €79.99, £64.99, $69.99
- 75156 {?} - 863 pieces - €99.99, £79.99, $89.99
Buildable Figures:
- 75119 {?} - 104 pieces - €24.99, £19.99, $24.99
- 75120 {?} - 169 pieces - €24.99, £19.99, $24.99
- 75121 {?} - 106 pieces - €24.99, £19.99, $24.99
Only the prices in bold have been officially confirmed but I have made some educated guesses for the UK and US based on the prices of sets which are currently available.
I will be publishing an article about the probable Rogue One sets when the first trailer is released in April but for the time being it seems likely that there will be an AT-ST, a TIE Fighter and a T-65 X-wing. In the meantime, the second part of the 'What's Missing' series will be published on Sunday. There is plenty more Star Wars coverage to come!

Can't wait to see what these sets are, I've heard the odd rumour about 2 of possible sets but we'll have to wait till April I guess
I can't wait to purchase a ??? at my local store!
I'm guessing that the smallest set is an AT-ST, and the 70 euro set is likely a TIE Fighter. But the rest? I have no clue.
what? no 1000pices + sets for lego star wars this year, what a shame
Is it confirmed that the Rogue one trailer will release in April? I mean, it makes sense they would release a one after TFA is officially released, but I was just wondering.
Hey, at least some of them have a good ppp.
Wow those are pretty expensive. But I guess so is all of lego now...
Slightly disappointed that there are no cheaper sets. Also, do we really need 3 system x-wings in the space of a year? Still, i missed out on the last tie fighter.
Hopefully the AT-ST is like a supped-up version of the walker. Maybe something similar to the Veteran AT-ST in the Star Wars: Commander app.
@Galactic Bricks: Or Ozzak Sturn's in The Force Unleashed, with the mortar and other fun stuff.
I had heard that the Rogue One trailer will be attached to Captain America: Civil War.
That is early May.
Yes! A new T-65 to go with the new T-70! Woohoo! Hopefully it's markings will be the same as the ones from the OT.
@mkrey - It is in late April for the UK and many other countries.
I'm interested to see what 75154 is... its really expensive for its piece count, so it probably has either a good deal of really big parts, or a good few new parts. It could be a TIE, with wings made up of quite large parts, like 9492's were ( I hope it is. I love 9492)
Hooray! The UCS Death Star is not Rogue One themed!
Just what we need more X-Wings and TIE Fighters.
It would be great to see an at-st last time lego did one of them was with the endor bunker set. Sadly I never purchased it but another x wing, I'm gona run out of self space these next few months. Favourite starfighter from the films
No $20 set! Sorry Friends Hot Dog Van... I have to save my $30 for these...
However, these sets seem to have better piece counts than the TFA ones!
If the first set is an AT-ST I might just get it because my UCS AT-ST is scattered among my collection of spare parts. I am too lazy/uninterested/lazy to dig up my manual and shift through the parts to dig it up, and I suspect some of the parts are/will be in the multicolored MOC I am building.
Anyway, the usual speculation:
49.99 will be the AT-ST
69.99 and 79.99 will be the spaceships.
The rest might be sets based on fight scenes/memorable locations. The AT-ST had better be at the most 49.99 or I will really not be happy.
To say that yet another TIE Fighter and X Wing would be underwhelming would also be a very conservative response, but that's not fully confirmed yet. I'd be much more interested in getting an updated ATST as I have the one from the Battle of Endor bunker set but I still think it could be improved further (also that was 8 or 9 years ago, so no one can say we're choking in ATST rehashes).
I was hoping for a new Tantive IV because I missed the first one, but judging by the prices it might not be there, unless it's been reduced in size. I'm making the assumption that Bail Organa and Captain Antilles (plus their associated vessel) would make an appearance in the film given their involvement in the Rebellion.
What I'd *really* like to see is some brand new striking ship or vehicle designs. Keeping the 'classic Star Wars aesthetic' in Ep VII was all well and good, but in my opinion the only new design to make an impact was Kylo Ren's Command Shuttle. Production have created messages that Rogue One will be more gritty and warlike than anything before and it would be great to see that in the vehicle designs.
Here's hoping that the TIE fighter might be a TIE Interceptor. It's been a looong time since one of these came out at system scale. In my opinion they're the coolest TIE fighter.
There's probably an X-Wing in there, so that makes 3 X-Wings in the span of a year.
Everyone seems to have forgotten the picture of the Lego Star Wars presentation in Germany from a few weeks back clearly showing Slave 1. That would most likely be the 100 Euro set in my opinion.
Why are the US prices so low compared to Episode 7?
@The Rancor if there is a set with bail organa and captain Antilles they will be must buys for me, because they are both minifigures I have been wanting.
I would like to see an AT-ST and I wouldn't mind seeing a remake of the Slave I. Hopefully there won't be more x-wings and tie fighters we have seen a few too many already, we don't really need another one yet.
Surprised they're not saving the trailer until SW:celebration - London...
@Rare White Ape: The Interceptor wasn't around during the time between RoTS and ANH, so it would either be a normal TIE or the Advanced.
I don't understand the gripe about more X-Wings?! Isn't the movie about X-Wing pilots?!
I get the feeling that they don't think they need to include smaller, cheaper sets in the movie lineups other than the battle packs, because for pocket money Star Wars toys, there's Microfighters and polybags (or maybe not - I never see polybags except for this one freebie I got at TRU, so I don't know how widely they're distributed outside of promotional use)... it's a bit of a shame; compare the TFA lineup to Episode III, say, and the latter has a nice mix of £10-and-under sets other than battle packs.
I guess I haven't been following these SW releases, so I was unaware what this movie was even about. It makes sense to have another xwing then, but I didn't realize there were different versions of xwings either...
Although I still have yet to see TFA, so maybe in a few weeks I'll rent it. (I avoid the high costs of the theater).
I will wait and see how they look before I decide what to do. I have a handful of neat looking SW sets.
For those who say the AT-ST had better be $50: All the other versions, barring the UCS, have been in the range of 200 pieces. These walkers are a LOT smaller than the $50 AT-DP. I think it's the smallest set.
Without knowing too much about Rogue One, what could the $40 set be, other than that?
The price per piece doesn't line up with any Lego Star Wars sets we have seen in recent history. Too good to be true?
@ Chouju_X[SPAM]: You're still thinking old canon. If they want to put an interceptor in the movie there is nothing stopping them. These people have played fast and loose with the timeline before.
Seems great but I am currently aiming for Dimenssions Packsbut depending on prices I may get: Tie Fighter, AT-ST, X-Wing (if they are cheaper than the Force Awakens).
@That guy from that show:
"The TIE interceptor was created by Sienar Fleet Systems upon realization that the TIE Advanced x1 would be too costly to mass-produce."
-Wookiepedia, linked to source from Star Wars: Ships of the Galaxy., which is a canon source.
In Rebels, which is the period around which this film is set, the TIE Advanced is a new model, just out of the prototype stage, so it wouldn't make sense for there to be Interceptors when their predecessor was just being produced. On the other hand, a prototype that's a cross between the Interceptor and Advanced would be pretty cool...
Wow these sets come out in april? I'm really surrpised they come out in april and there is still no pics for them. Plus that is 8 months before the movie. wow...
It would be strange to get a classic X-wing without Luke in it, but it's where SW is heading. I am not getting a Rebels Vader's TIE, even if it looks exactly the same as from ANH. And I'm not gonna get any other spin-off sets, purely E4-6 sets. But that's just me..
@CHAINSAW
The Rogue One sets probably won't come out till the near end of the year.
I read that there's another Force Friday event similar to last year's in September.
Mild spoiler alert, but there are plenty of pics around the net of the Rebels with a previously unseen (i.e. new design) large troop lander in an assault landing. It looks vaguely like a cross between an X-wing and a snow speeder, but with no wings, 4 large engines in an X-wing layout, and a large troop compartment with openings either side. Similar to a troop helicopter. It would almost certainly account for one of the larger LEGO sets from the movie.
@LE-GOlas, ok my bad didn't realize that.
The price on the sets seem a little low (U.S.) I'm not complaining, just think it's to good to be true.
I really hope we don't get more X-wings and Tie Fighters, I was under the impression that the Rogue One name wasn't because of the call sign, just something that would be explained in the movie... Maybe I'm crazy :-)
