looks great!

By in Norway,

Really in LOVE with the London-set! :) So clean, yet so detailed.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

These skylines are turning out to be a great sub theme; although looking at London how does Lego top that.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Well, Now all I have to do is pray they make a Philadelphia Lego set. It could include a big litter problem DISPITE THE FACT THERE IS A TRASHCAN ON ALSMOST EVERY BLOCK! IT'S NOT THAT HARD TO CARRY YOUR TRASH!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

For some people it is impossible to carry any litter more than one step from the time they created it.
You have to wonder what their home looks like.
Or maybe it is best not too.... :)

Anyway, I must have the Lodon Skyline.

By in Australia,

Wow, that London one might just become our first architectural set! It is gorgeous and would bring back happy memories of our five years living near there.

I am very fond of Sydney and may also get that one but why did they pick that oddly shaped skyscraper to go with centrepoint tower? It dominates the whole thing yet as an occasional visitor to Sydney I have never noticed that building in real life. I would have to remove that and try to replace with my own version of several 'insignificant' tall buildings all clustered together because that is what I love about Sydney's skyline. Or even just remove it as the centrepoint tower, harbour bridge and opera house are sufficient to me. I'd be interested to hear what the Sydneysiders think.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Roofs of the opera house. Is it a new brick design? Never seen this bricks before.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

^They aren't new parts. How do they decide which city to make next? Where's my beautiful iconic Toronto skyline, LEGO? I guess another American city was more important again... London looks fantastic, though.

Gravatar
By in United States,

That looks like the John Hancock Building, the Willis Tower, and the Wrigley Building in Chicago.
Not sure what the red building on the left is.
Seems like they should have added the Tribune Tower, it's one of the most famous structures in Chicago. Perhaps it was too difficult to design at that scale.

Gravatar
By in United States,

^^^ Red building is the CNA. Very visible and famous from the lake or if you are down by the museums looking at the skyline. Also, the Michigan Avenue Bridge and, if I'm not mistaken the Jelly Bean statue in Chicago!!!

Gravatar
By in Sweden,

The London set is best!

Gravatar
By in Belgium,

It would be nice if we could buy that London set tomorrow at the opening of the Leicester Square store ;)

Gravatar
By in Germany,

London set is magnificent. Sydney is not bad either. This Architecture range really makes wonderful souvenirs for the respective cities!

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

I'm kinda missing st paul's and the shard, but instead we Get a third big ben, and a second tower bridge, and buckingham palace (which was released a couple of months ago). I still love it though, I would even buy it if I hadn't bought architecture big ben in the summer.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I don't see a Buckingham Palace in the London set...but I do see Trafalger Square. Very nice set though

Gravatar
By in Germany,

Damn, that London set! I'm in love with my Berlin one, but I guess that needs to move for London. (The blue colour fits perfectly in my shelve. And the big Tower Bridge is on top of it.)

Gravatar
By in United States,

Chicago looks great, but London absolutely takes the cake! I love that.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

The excitement of the new store opening tommorrow I think has got to me, I've been dreaming of things like this going to be there tommorrow, just had to pinch myself to stop the dreaming ;)

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

London looks great. The Chicago set looks OK, but I wish they'd included a building by Sullivan or Wright. Sydney looks awful. I am bit sad however that these cities made the cut. We already have three Chicago sets, two Sydney sets (including the Creator one) and four London sets (including two Creator sets). It's time for new places.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

wifeys birthday present for november has been sorted! the london skyline looks amazeballs!

Gravatar
By in Denmark,

I am looking forward to the Billund skyline...

Or at least Copenhagen.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

Wow, those look great. As a matter of fact I like all of them, but the London one tops all. That's a must buy for me.

Gravatar
By in Puerto Rico,

They actually look cool.

Gravatar
By in Spain,

I don't really like these, except for Sydney.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

The London Skyline set has already been spotted on the street outside the new London Lego store today after the AFOL preview and I am sure I read that it will be available from Leicester Square from tomorrow.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Born and raised in Chicago, so I might get the skyline. Otherwise not for me.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'm from Chicago, but what's that white building? It doesn't really look like Wrigley, as someone previously mentioned. And no Trump Tower? I know it's controversial but it's one of the most iconic buildings in the skyline!

Gravatar
By in Spain,

Honestly they are starting to be a little boring. Again London, Sydney and Chicago models? Aren't there more beautiful skylines in the world? I am not going to purchase any of them until they open their mind and explore other beautiful cities of the world.

Gravatar
By in United States,

The London one is awesome!

Gravatar
By in United States,

They look great.

Gravatar
By in United States,

My goodness, those look fantastic! I can't wait until they do San Francisco or Shanghai.

Gravatar
By in United States,

My favorite is London. So detailed! Sydney is good too.

Gravatar
By in United States,

l love them! Definitely my favorite theme

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Is that the National Gallery behind Nelson's Column? If so, it makes a nice change.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

I like that london one, but the london eye is way to big

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

@legoverslinder The London eye is big, about twice as high as Big Ben in real life!!!

When are they going to do Bradford or Leeds lol?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I like the London one a lot, big props for the London Eye and Trafalgar square with the National Art Gallery behind it but as Caspar_Van_Hobbles said, it would have been PERFECT if it had the Shard and St Pauls. St Pauls is the oldest out of alk of them and was arguably THE london Landmark for a long time. The Shard wouldve represented Londons modren skyline and it is a nice building. Tower Bridge looks too similar to Big Ben at this scale and we've seen it before. Honestly, I wouldve preffered a whole host of buildings before Tower Bridge like Westminster Abbey. Still a great set though

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Have to say I love that London Skyline set and I will be grabbing it as soon as possible, perhaps even this Saturday when I'm in London to go to the store by the sounds of it. Just love the way the London (insert sponsor here) Eye rises behind the other structures, as it does when you're in the centre of London. I would have pushed for a Shard model and Tower of London instead of Tower Bridge, but Tower Bridge is still incredibly detailed all the same.

I admire some of the parts usage going on in the other Skylines, and I quite fancy the Sydney one (with Mixels teeth as sailing boats!) but I'm afraid I'm going to need to swot up on Chicago architecture to understand that skyline. Looking forward to Paris and Athens or Rome, assuming we get these in the future.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I think all 3 are pretty sweet looking....and I'd buy all three if I was ever to find them for $19.99/each, but I'm guessing I'm not even in the ball park. Hmmmm....ball parks....now theres' an idea.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Wow, I have to get all of these! Love the micro Sydney Opera House.

Gravatar
By in United States,

These all look fantastic. London is easily my favorite, though. So well executed. Might make me get into Architecture if the Capitol doesn't.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I'd love London to have either the shard or Canary Wharf to give it a really high skyscraper. I'm really pleased with the set as it is though, I wonder why nelsons column is white when it's grey in real life. I'm hoping that one day they make St Paul's cathedral into a full size creator set.
I'm really liking the architecture theme at the moment, the very early sets were very underwhelming and too expensive but now they are very detailed and are great display pieces.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

The pics are *gone* :/

Gravatar
By in United States,

London looks absolutely superb. Chicago seems fine and so does Sydney, but London blows it away.
I'll suggest L.A., Paris, Moscow, Tokyo, Dheli, Cairo, Jerusalem, Mobile, Toronto, Rio De Janeiro, Istanbul, Boston, Washington D.C., St Petersburg, or Denver. What does everyone think about those suggestions?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Just wondering if we know that at least the London set is available at the Leicester Square store or whether it's speculation? I'm trying to find an excuse to go and I really like the London set so if it's exclusive....

Perhaps someone who's going today could kindly confirm?

@agentblue - agree with the LA skyline, you could have a number of landmarks with the Hollywood sign as a backdrop, a bit like the London Eye is in the London skyline. Actually quite surprised we're yet to have any LA architectures.

Gravatar
By in Hungary,

It seems the wishlist of cities is endless :-) How about Budapest? If you search for it on the LEGO Ideas pages, you'll find a model that would fit nicely in the Skylines series!

Gravatar
By in Germany,

They all look fantastic! And judging from the other skylines they will be quite enjoyable builds as well. These are high on my list for next year

Gravatar
By in United States,

London's great, Sydney looks interesting, Chicago looks...um. I rather like the way they're including some/most of the previously-released buildings from the theme in these skylines. I really need to check and see which of the current three I have, and fill in the gaps, because so far the Chicago set is the only one that doesn't wow me. (Though I agree London should also have St. Paul's and the Shard, but a little MOCing should fix that!)

Gravatar
By in Australia,

I had no intention of collecting these sets (no room) - but that London set may have changed my mind.. Sydney looks nice as well.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

How is the London Eye being held in a perfect circle? It seems unlikely those pneumatic hoses would hold that shape without extra support. What am I missing?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Yes the London set is available at the Leicester Square store. I purchased one yesterday.

Not sure how many they have or how long they will last though.

Gravatar
By in United States,

These look pretty neat. I wasn't too familiar with some of the last series, but these are more recognizable for me. Although I know the price will be out of my range considering all of the other great sets that are coming out.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Agree that the London set looks the best, but at £45 for 468 pieces I'll patiently wait for a good discount. Is it my impression, or is the ppp of skylines getting higher and higher? I'm looking forward to seeing the 2017 Guggenheim Museum. Will it be again the one in NYC, or the one in Bilbao? Probably the NYC one since Lego seems to rehash the same buildings over and over, but the Bilbao one could be amazing (or an utter disappointment).

Gravatar
By in United States,

They look great! I'm actually from Illinois, and a news report on the sets I just saw did confirm the white building as the Wrigley building.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Very cool! I really like all of them. I hope this series continues for future years with some good cities! A Detroit Skyline would be sweet and it could feature the Ambassador Bridge!
