Official images of Justice League sets
Posted by Huw,
LEGO has provided Fbtb with images of the three Justice League sets that due out on August 1st.
I've added box images to the database but head over to Fbtb to see out-of-box and minifig pictures.

Big black "thing" wreaking havoc over a city; classic DC
The vehicles look very not good. But, given the right discount, I could grab these sets.
WOW! I love It! (It also reveals a bit about the new movie!)
The Aquaman set is OK. I like his hair. That about sums up my interest in these, which is a shame because I have collected a lot of Superheroes sets in the past. But some of TLBM sets aside, the Superheroes line has not been doing it for me in the last year or so.
Spoiler alert, Superman doesn't stay dead. I am shocked at this stunning turn of events.
The parademon figures are okay (we have Darkseid, after all. It's nice to get some troops for him), but I don't really see the fuss about any of the other JLA figures. We already have most of them in their classic outfits anyway, and I don't see the need to spend a huge amount on picking them up on eBay or Bricklink.
The sets still don't look very good. I don't mind the Flying Fox (with the airlifting-Batmobile capability). I mean, that's kind of cool. But it's gonna be hugely expensive. But the Atlantis set is still just Aquaman and a couple of columns, and the Knight Crawler thing just looks really weird. Hard pass on just about all of these.
Oh, and check out the Batman figure. He's got grey hips on black legs, but the grey of his costume is just painted on the front of his legs. I wonder if that's just a mid-production still and not the final toy, because that looks really jarring.
Superman should have stayed dead MUCH longer, guess they really are going out with the 'Space Jesus" thing.
The sets are a mess, but then so are the prices. There is the $20 Battle Pack, then a $50 set that has 622 pieces (which is super good!) and a $130 set with only 955 pieces? I can buy the Ultimate Batmobile for $10 more, have 500 more pieces and 4-5 great exclusive minifigures. And oh yeah it doesn't look like a black turd giving birth.
The Batman figure looks... fine....ish. I don't know why they didn't just use grey legs and paint the black on. However for the price of the big set they should have done dual molding.
I love the new Aquamam and Cyborg minifigures and I didn't even know Superman was going to b in the movie until I saw these sets!
Geez, so many Bat Vehicles... Still. As usual, the Minifigs are the best parts of the sets. Also, why no dual molded legs for Superman?
Meh. The sets are a mess - a bunch of columns, another big black Bat-craft and a big black shoe with fins spitting out yet another Batmobile. A pass for me...
Why so many bat vehicles - WHY, Lego? Recently you gave Batman his own movie and multiple bat vehicles - Is Batman really that popular?
I wish they had made at least one bad-guy vehicle, but...
Too many vehicles as usual. I guess I will buy aquamarine, sell the figs and keep the sea ruins
@the creative box. I would guess its because Batman is the only superhero who needs vehicles. All the other superheroes can fly or have some kind of superpower for traveling, so they don't need vehicles.
I think the sets need to look like whatever the movie makes them looks like. LEGO didn't design the vehicles, DC did, and all LEGO is doing is making a LEGO version of those vehicles as best as they can.
"Is Batman really that popular"...oy vey!...lol!!!
Definitely want to get all these figures and the Flying Fox vehicle.
Great to see they're playing up an Apokolips/Darkseid storyline with all these Parademon minifigs and a Mother-Box.
Wonder if we'll see the New Gods? Those minifigs would be sweet!
Batman seems to be the most popular crimefighter these days. I love batman, but I'm not loving these designs (but I'm also skeptical of the movie). I'll try to pick up a few of the figures in their new uniforms, but I don't foresee myself buying any of the bigger sets due to cost. I might pick up Aquaman due to price and 4 figures.
^^ I didn't mean it that way, I meant how popular the Batman sets are. I myself is a big fan of Batman (no doubt he's popular), but many DC sets are bat-themed and therefore they have very plain color schemes (black and grey parts, mostly). Besides that, "Batman V Superman" recieved bad reviews from many DC fans and critics, so Lego should focus on less bat-vehicles and more location-based sets and villain vehicled (I bet those parademons have some kind of vehicles/weaponry).
DC killed Superman in Batman v Superman, and now we have this ridiculous situation that he is not front and centre for marketing for the Justice League film, but will be in the toys, like this one.
I gotta have that Flying Fox! What a great set. The minifigs are awesome. Now, the Aquaman set ... Not so much. (I just want to have him.)
I think it's interesting that Wonder Woman looks more front and center than Supes on the packaging. I like it.
Oh no... multiple items that are in different sets that all look nearly identical...
THE MOTHER BOXES ARE FROM NINJAGO!
Guess I have to get this Flash figure as it's as close as we'll every get to a C.W. Flash
So... the best DC movie set from this year still is Wonder Woman and giant Ares. Also, paying a fortune and NOT getting dual molded legas for Supes and Batman seems quite a rip-off.
The set with Aquaman is a must have but the rest...well maybe not. I really like the Flash minifigure so I might just buy him separately. Cyborg's arm looks stupid and Superman is disappointing. He's just the same as the B v S sets.
U know now i like the really bid set i think it looks great especially with the Batmobile taht can go inside! I just dont know about the set with Flash; it looks weird.
To me, the smallest set is the most appealing, as it has some nice builds and good figures. The other sets have some decent figures, but really odd builds to me
I want the battle of Atlantis for the stellar Aquaman figure, and even though it's not that special, the bit of Atlantis included looks quite nice. The Nightcrawler looks pretty cool and unusual, but I would mainly get it for the figures. In the largest set, the batmobile and dropship both look a bit odd to me, but then I saw that the batmobile isn't all the way out of the dropship, so I haven't seen how it completely looks and if the dropship looks that way in the movie, then it isn't in Lego. And again, the only picture we have for the largest one is of the box.
