Series 19 box distribution
Posted by Huw,
Collectable minifigures series 19 are starting to show up in shops in Europe, including in Tesco in the UK.
The box distribution was reported a week or so ago on some random YouTube channel so I thought I'd wait until it was corroborated by someone more trustworthy before reporting on it.
German site StoneWars has done just that this morning and I'm pleased to read that there are three complete sets in the box.
The distribution is as follows:
5 in the box:
- Video Game Champ
- Mummy Queen
- Galactic Bounty Hunter
4 in the box:
- Fright Knight
- Programmer
- Jungle Explorer
- Pizza Costume Guy
- Rugby Player
- Bear Costume Guy
3 in the box:
- Shower Guy
- Monkey King
- Firefighter
- Dog Sitter
- Gardener
- Fox Costume Girl
- Mountain Biker
Our box is in the post so we'll be publishing our review as soon as they arrive.

Blimey, that's quite decent aye? Great to see that the trend of one-per-box chase figures seem to have disappeared too, good bloomin' riddance innit.
Just managed to grab dog walker, flamingo lady, shower guy, rainbow bear and monkey King from Tesco. I did well!!
Why do Australian retailers never put stuff out early like this? :(
Luckily the 3 I wanted most are all the 5 to a box figures. Ones the misses wants of the Dog sitter and the biker should be pretty easy to feel for too which helps.
All of these look great.
Lame that the Gamer is a 5-of instead of one of the interesting 3-ofs.
Well at least this is not the feel though all the bags to find the exclusive one.
Their wont be complete set once I get my hands on a box
Going to need a lot of the fox girl with the chicken and the dog sitter with the pug and wiener dogs. A lot.

Meow.
Good. Galactic Bounty Hunter is common.
But sad that Monkey King is one of the "rarer" ones. Though, 3 per case isn't too bad, I guess.
Really happy that the Bounty Hunter is common, since it's such a great army builder. Slightly sad that the Dog Sitter and Gardner are 3/box, since I also want an army of flamingos and wiener dogs, though. :P
Not all Tescos unfortunately. The one nearest me doesn't have LEGO, not even minifigures.
Was up in south-west Scotland last week and a couple of Tesco’s had them on the shelf but sadly my local Extra will put them out in their own time. ?? Previously series’ have sometimes been 2 weeks after the ‘official’ release date!!
Slightly disappointed that gardener/flimingo lady, is one of the "rarer ones"
Got the Shower Guy, Flamingo lady, Rugby Player, Gamer and Jungle Explorer from Tesco on Friday. Looked like a newly opened box when I was there. Hopefully they'll still have the Dog Sitter and Fox Girl next time I go.
Any word if the rows in the box correspond to a complete set like they did with the Lego Movie 2 CMFs? I thought I read somewhere that this was the case. . . can anyone confirm?
don't hate me, but I like the chase/rare figures
Easy if you're a secret Jedi , feeling out is a skill but single minifig for this price is loony
The guy in our toyshop is usually pretty good at feeling out particular figures, and they often have swapouts on display. Happy days!
@SinKiller Nick,
Don’t know if the arrangement of the minifigures in each box will be the same in all countries, but this German seller has the order listed in the box they opened: https://www.stonewars.de/reviews/lego-71025-minifiguren-serie-19-review/ (scroll down).
My local toy shop does the same. They feel all the bags and number them so you only have to buy the ones you want. Saves me buying a whole box like I used to do.
Which random YouTuber?
@Zander - thanks - that is super helpful!
Probably a FAQ, but what's the easiest way to buy a sealed box? (I'm in the United States.)
According to The Cool Factor on YouTube, you can now buy sealed boxes of CMFs on Lego.com. Series 18 is available in the US online (I just checked - https://www.lego.com/en-us/themes/minifigures) but not in Australia unfortunately... Maybe TLG will do the same for Series 19?
Glad to see the bounty hunter is more common! I also really want the fright knight, jungle explorer, fox (for the chicken), and doG sitter!
Went into my Tesco today whilst getting some lunch, and their box only had one figure left inside! I felt it, and it was the programmer with her laptop and robot, so not one of my favourites, but it's incredible to see how fast people are finding and buying these. Anyway, I'm gonna wait for them to hit half price, because at £3 each they all inevitably do after a month or two.
So, I need 4 boxes to complete my 15 rugby player team!!
And I need before the Rugby World Cup starts!!!!
They are on the shelves now in Canada. Found them in Toys R Us and the Chapters/Indigo bookstore.
A local BR/Ringo toystore just got two boxes, after a bit of faff I managed to find Johnny Thunder and the dog walker. This series is rather hard to feel for, not only does some figures have internal bags but I believe this is the first series where ALL the figures have standard head, chest and leg pieces.
For Johnny Thunder I noticed the hat first, but the backpack is quite bulky and also noticeable. The chameleon is rather indistinct (it just feels like a narrow piece with a wider base) while the magnifier is somewhat recognizable if you manage to isolate it.
The dogs also feels rather indistinct due to their flat sides, they're easy to mistake for the chest and leg pieces unless you carefully feel for the head. The shovel OTOH is easy to identify and is your best bet. Neither of these figures had any internal bags.
After opening the bags I also noticed some numbers stamped on the upper right of the back, the one i *believe* is the Johnny Thunder one says "19S9" while the dog walker one says "18S9" - these bags do not seem to have the infamously unreliable "dot codes" but maybe these numbers are useful. Also the "16/17/18 to collect" seen on the leaked images seems to be fake, my flyers just says "Limited edition - 16 - to collect" on the "18" position. The back side just has the assembly instructions for the geek girl, mountainbiker, monkey king, shower guy and the knight.
@Axeleng - I picked a few up and they all have the code 20S9 except one which has 19S9 - they are all different so I guess it is a QC ID code for production lines or something
Jackthenipper - I've been thinking about the same thing, they're probably just batch numbers similar to the ones embossed into the old "dotted" bags. As such they're not very useful for finding figures, as I'd guess all the bags in a box would have the same or two consecutive numbers independently of which figure it is.
