This year's Winter Village set is another 'fantasy' one: 10275 Elf Club House, which has been designed by Chris McVeigh, so it should be something special. Here's the press release:

10275 Elf Club House, 1197 pieces
£84.99 / €94.99 / $99.99
Available from 23rd September at LEGO.com

The latest set in the LEGO Holiday collection the Elf Clubhouse is a delightful addition to any holiday display, available from LEGO Retail Stores and LEGO.com from the 23rd of September.

[21st September 2020] Experience the magic of Christmas this holiday season and discover the quaint cottage that is home to Santa's Elves, with the latest LEGO holiday set – the LEGO Elf Clubhouse. Jam-packed with seasonal touches, the LEGO Elf Club House allows families to escape the chaos of holiday season, immerse themselves in the fantasy world of holiday season and create a new festive building tradition.

The LEGO Elf Clubhouse is a truly magical set, with festive features which offer a glimpse into the everyday lives of Santa’s little helpers – including a waffle machine to help them re-fuel after a long day of toy making, a brick built chimney and even a ‘sleighport’ to park the elf’s sleigh in, ready to load up with presents for adults and children alike.

This brand-new holiday set is the perfect festive family tradition and a way for families (naughty or nice) to enjoy the magic of Holiday season and build together to bring their ultimate Christmas fantasy to life. Deck the halls with the LEGO Elf Clubhouse Christmas Tree, which is brimming with colourful baubles, sneak under the Christmas tree a selection of toys and small gifts the elves have prepared for each other and watch Santa’s sleigh take off into the night sky with the telescope. You can even use the computer to track who has been naughty and who’s nice!

Once you’ve finished your DIY project, The LEGO Elf Clubhouse, which measures at 8.5” (22cm) high and 5” (13cm) deep, makes a stunning display piece - with a LEGO light brick included in the set to help illuminate the festive scene. Add it to other sets in the LEGO Holiday collection, including the LEGO Creator Expert Gingerbread House and the LEGO Creator Expert Winter Village Fire Station to create a decorative festive display.

The Elf Club House is the latest creation from LEGO fan turned official LEGO designer, Chris McVeigh, whose personal passion project ‘Brick Sketches’ is now an official LEGO theme.. Talking about the LEGO Elf Club House, Chris commented:

“It’s amazing to be able to turn my hand to such an iconic set of LEGO models – Holiday season has always been a special time for me and my family, so getting into the festive spirit always come easily when I’m designing (and if I ever struggle, putting on Walking In A Winter Wonderland always helps put me in the right mindset!). For the LEGO Elf Clubhouse I wanted to explore the world of Santa’s Elves and work out what they do after they’ve had a long day making toys, giving a glimpse into their secret world, whilst also creating an iconic holiday set that reflects the architecture of alpine chalets. There are so many brilliant pieces within this set, but my favourite piece is the reindeer, which is brand new to addition to this set – I like to call it Brixen! “

LEGO Elf Club House will be available directly via LEGO.com and LEGO Stores from 23rd September.

Our review will be posted later this afternoon.

Is that Metalbeard’s Sea Cow in miniature?

Gravatar
By in United States,

It's the Lego Elf, Clubhouse! Come inside its fun inside.

By in United States,

I predict the reindeer will be highly sought after. A LEGO Santa's Sleigh with 8 reindeer in it would probably sell very well.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

I need that deer, Louis will be real soon enough

By in United States,

The whole idea of an "Elf Club House" is strange to me, but it seems like it would be easy enough to modify to be a more realistic winter cabin.

"You can even use the computer to track who has been naughty and who’s nice!"

Glad to know the elves are tracking me along with all the big tech companies lol.

My favourite thing about this set are the side-builds. The computer, the tree, and the toys are fantastic! The rest of set looks nice but a little small for $100.

I like it! Although they didn't put a lot of creativity into the elves. You get 6 nearly identical figures. Oh well.

Absolute Beauty

The build looks fantastic, the figures are cute and that Reindeer is something I want tons of.

By in United States,

Funny, my winter village MOC for 2019 was a winter chalet- with an extremely similar roof design.

I like how Santa hasn’t upgraded to a smartphone yet.

By in Ireland,

The fact this is an 18+ set yet so dependent on play features is confuzzling. XP

Wouldn’t call it extremely similar, due to different steepness and difference in lengths use with or without the windows. Yours is quite Nice in portraying character.

By in Australia,

I'm sorry, but I just don't much care for it. I didn't buy the Gingerbread House, because of the more fantastic nature, and as much as I like the side-builds and the reindeer figure? This would just be so out-of-place in my winter village. It's not even a club house, really, it's just a house for the elves to live in.

There are so many more locations that could be added to the winter village that would be organic editions to that world. I mean, c'mon, Lego can't go 30 seconds without building a new police station, but the winter village still doesn't have one of those, with an old-timey police car?

Gravatar
By in United States,

Now just to figure out how to acquire more of those reindeer.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I am a huge fan of that early 90s computer

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

I love it. A little bit of variation in the minifigs would have been welcome tho.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Love the small micro builds and really love the Xmas tree design. Had a nice full look.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Not sure about that slanty bed set up? And it’s a shame the elves faces are just reused children’s prints.

Any word on October GWP? Might be worth holding off in case it’s the Dickens book.

Believe it or not a lot of AFOLs actually appreciate models that do something other than just looking good on a shelf.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I love the toys that come with these sets.
Also the old computer is awesome.

By in Sweden,

The 18+ branding gets more and more confusing, first we get the huge playset Mos Eisley Cantina and now this, markted as "the perfect festive family tradition and a way for families (naughty or nice) to enjoy the magic of Holiday season and build together". Diagon Alley however is 16+, even though it features many more interesting building techniques than those 18+ sets. And the display piece 75318 The Child is... 10+!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Oh, I love the look of this set! Won't be getting on day of release, I'll wait until a little bit nearer Christmas, but this will look fantastic at the North Pole next to Santa's workshop. The play features look fantastic, this has to be one of the most fun Winter Village sets in years!

Gravatar
By in United States,

How many press releases is Lego doing today?!

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Mos Eisley Cantina, Batwing, The Child, Elf Clubhouse...

Lots of beautiful new sets! But I'm still waiting for the Colosseum!

Actually, only 4 elves.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Yes just the four, although LEGO provided 6 pictures, also showing alternate faces on two of them, hence me causing confusion by posting all 6.

Gravatar
By in United States,

That waffle chimney is so extra but I LOVE IT. Instantly increased my liking for the entire model.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

Looks more like an 80€ set to me.. it's cute, tho. :)

Gravatar
By in United States,

I love this along with all the Winter Village sets. Lego does a fantastic job with the seasonal sets. The reindeer needs to be in a battle pack! :)

Elf Club House 18+

Ok Lego...

Gravatar
By in United States,

I am so excited that this was finally revealed! I have been waiting to see the inside details and I admit they are disappointing. It feels like 3 cramped bunk beds and nothing else! That said, I still find the outside to be adorable and the inside isn’t a total bust either. Overall pretty cute. I’m not 100% sure I am going to buy it, but maybe 90% :)

Gravatar
By in France,

Love Christmas. Love the Winter Village. It has become a tradition in my home. Must figure out how to get more reindeer.

Gravatar
By in Greece,

THIS IS NOT A REINDEER! gah...
It is cute, but looks more like a stag.
Oh well, perfect for Disney "reindeer" sleighs, I suppose...

Gravatar
By in United States,

These are cute, but there are so many buildings the WV proper still needs.

Gravatar
By in United States,

an instant buy for me, I love Winter and Christmas! I'm hoping those deer can be available on BAP

Gravatar
By in United States,

This would be better is one of the elves was replaced with LEGO Legolas . . .

Gravatar
By in United States,

You know looking at it again, it looks good, I like the waffle/bakery chimney and the micro-builds BUT, there's too much wasted space in that attic bedroom. I think they could've done at least two levels for the Elves to have activities since this is their 'club-house'. It's just stacked bunk beds. Not the best use of that large space I feel. When you look at it, exterior very nicely detailed, the accessory builds excellent, the stag-excellent to have, the tree-full bodied and nice different look, but the interior (not the chimney bakery which is great) but the regular interior seems so ordinary to me.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

It’s a lovely design.
Beautiful building. Perfect new torso print. Reindeer, tree, gifts are all great. Really like the telescope. Will go nicely in the fantasy part of my winter village. Do hope that next year sees a return to the more traditional real life winter village though. I will be buying this when the Christmas GWP is on offer, if it is in stock then...

Gravatar
By in Greece,

It looks a bit small considering the cost... is it small because Elves are vertically challenged?

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Love this and will definitely be adding this to the collection.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Like the gingerbread house, this is a really nice building but ruined by these weird fantasy ideas.

What on earth even is an elf clubhouse?

We already had Santa's workshop (which, along with all the other sets is roughly in a 1920s-1950s era yet this has a 1980s/90s computer???)

At least the gingerbread house had some nice details. What does this set actually give me?

Personally I think the new reindeer, while necessary as introduced in Harry Potter, is just a way to get people to buy this mediocre set. What I dont understand is, perhaps even less then the gingerbread house is what is the purpose of this?

So toyshop was the gift of giving, presents, all that sort of thing. WV Bakery for some warm treats and the post office to send Christmas cards/letters and parcels. The WV cottage remains the best set for me, capturing the Christmas feel with the light up fireplace, stockings, grandpa in a highback chair, cutting wood etc.

Santas workshop was fine as of course santa is the most important part of a secular Christmas. The building fitted with the rest of the WV sets and if one wanted to be realistic one could, like me, think of the Santa and reindeer in that set as someone dressed up delivering presents for charity. (which is more or less what St Nicholas did).

Sets like the market, train station and fire station built on the lovely little Winter Village which I always thought of as a lego version of those resin buildings (one of the brands is Lemax) that people make and have lights in them.

Yet the gingerbread house went all weird, at least it had the story of a family home but for gingerbread people and gingerbread houses are a common part of christmas celebrations.

Yet we have this. What is an elf clubhouse? Is this meant to complement santas workshop although making it outdated with its pre-1980s theme and brick-built reindeer?

I really wish Lego would go back to normal buildings, maybe a cafe or hotel/inn. Lego went weird with the modulars and look how happy people were when they returned to normal (including normal pricing) in the case of the Bookshop.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Oh this is great! However, my wallet has been trying to run on me more than once. So, I’d better calm it down before considering this! ;)

Gravatar
By in Germany,

To everyone who is so thrilled by this "reindeer": you do know that stags and reindeer are very different species? This "thing" looks nothing like a reindeer.
Just saying.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Who would admit to being a naughty family?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

It’s a great looking set and I really like it.
But...
as others have said, my winter village needs more actual village buildings, not more fantasy-style buildings.

I think I’ll need to have two separate Christmas displays from now on
1) Winter village proper
2) North Pole themed display

Gravatar
By in United States,

I love the bed that shoves the elves out! And the waffle dispenser!!!... I need one

Gravatar
By in United States,

I know the release date says the 23rd and I know it is the 23rd already in Europe but I was Just able to order this set at 924pm in NY off the LEGO website.

I don’t need to stay up until midnight!

Gravatar
By in Canada,

I answered the poll saying I would wait and see but I just bought it tonight. This set has something.

Gravatar
By in Italy,

Not sure it is my thing.
Santa workshop, elf club house, gingerbread house... what happened to the classic winter village buildings?
This could be good as a "cameo", I expect something like this one sometimes, but now it seems to be a trend.

The new reindeer don't fit with the brick build ones of the Santa workshop, so coupling these two sets have something discordant.

Besides the house seems a bit small for a 100$ set, the parts count is good but it seems to be due to a large amount of small parts.
