Harry Potter Advent Calendar - Day 8

Posted by ,

Yesterday's decorated Leaky Cauldron sign was enjoyable and another item from the wizarding tavern could definitely appear today, unless we move straight to Diagon Alley.

Find out below...

Food and drink appears in nearly every Advent Calendar and that continues here, as two pearl silver tankards and a bottle arrive today. The muted colours certainly suit the Leaky Cauldron's dark interior and I like the textured 2x2 round brick beneath the table. However, this model lacks the detail I would anticipate and should have included stools alongside the table.

Overall - 3.0 - While the design and colours are reasonable, this model is relatively uninteresting.

The worst day so far in my opinion, so boring

The two pearl silver tankards are unusual for Lego kitchenware, so they are welcome to my collection.

I thought the pearl silver tankards were a new item, so I was happy for today's build. Stools would have been nice though.

Pearl-silver is indeed a new color for the mugs, but with no deco there’s a good chance these will pop up elsewhere.

I think the theme that was chosen for this year AC sounded cool and all, but Not really much can be included when covering only first part of the first movie.

Still this is better than flags

Now we need full leaky cauldron set compatible with Diagon Alley

Love these pewter mugs. This is perfect for the ambience of Leaky Cauldron

With its color scheme, this would work in Star Wars, Castle, or practically any other theme that’s had an AC (and several that haven’t), except Friends and Belville.

Hooray! I've got two bags with tables

I actually think this isn't too bad. Build-wise it's not that exciting, but two pewter mugs and a bottle is worth the price of admission in my book! Kinda regretting not picking this one up this year.

By in Croatia,

I like the table size!
It have space for plates (2x 2x2 round), space for cups/glasses and space for parasol!
Must copy it for my City!
