Would've liked more stuff like the perseverance rover, but these are fine.
At first glance I thought the Huracan was the new Revuelto with those larger openings at the front. Still a nice model.
Yawn! Same old same old...
Wow, a Technic that isn't covered in stickers? I'm not normally a fan, but that actually looks good! However, those wheels look positively rally-esque. They need to be way lower profile.
Very much more of the same but the bodywork lines on these two have been very well realised.
Hoping we’ll get some level of representation of the Audi’s range extender hybrid drive train but I’m doubtful.
Lamborghini looks excellent for a $50 model. I hope they release it in other colours.
Interesting how on the back of the box the Lamborghini has a small panel showing the steering being controlled with a knob on the roof, but on the image on the front of the box there is no knob.
Is it just me but I miss the old style technic sets from the 80s.
The Lambo is barely recognizable as such and Control plus should be hucked in the trash.

Most likely similar to how the McLaren Senna and Bugatti Bolide have their hand-of-god steering, where you can easily pull the axle with knob / small gear out for display. It connects to a 2 or 3 long axle connector (think parts such as 6538c or 26287), that in turn connects to the steering mechanism itself.

No, it's never "just you". That's literally one of the most common reactions to any new Technic set being revealed. That it's "not like in the good ol days".
Good thing there's still plenty of technic sets that have brilliant mechanisms. This year there's the firefighter airplane, the skidder and Perseverance rover with ingenious functions, and ways of realising those. In recent years there have been sets like the tow truck, ATV, material handler and the heavy duty excavator with a larger focus on the 'technic'. And they're often even less expensive than sets were back in the day :))
Funny cars aren't the only sets on the shelves.
Oh look more cars, oh and a control plus one too. How thrilling….mmm
Cars? In Technic? And licensed ones too?
Feeling adventurous today, aren't you lego?
Lambo's wheels are horrible, they should have made new ones. A supercar with small rim wheels looks comical.
Wow! another technic Lamborghini in lime green! I hope the color issues are fixed.
The Lambo is good, nice size.

Yeah, the rims aren't great.
The Lambo looks a bit meh in the images, but I suspect it might look quite a lot better "in the flesh". Given that we've already had a lime green Sian it would have been nice to have this one in orange or yellow; it'll be interesting to see whether the necessary panels are available in those colours.
I seem to be not inline with other commenters, but I do really like the Audi. If it performs as a baja/dakar car, then I'm in =). I'm much more interested in such builds rather than some awkward cranes that in reality couldn't do anything and are more like a display things...
I'll skip these both.
The Audi looks horrible and is way too expensive for the number of parts, just because of the control+ stuff. The Lamborghini looks slightly better as a model, but I don't like the large holes at the front's edges and the wheels are a laugh...
It looks like the time to market new technic models is more important than come up with really good ones.
Nice but…. I want more Icons 16 wide Cars though!
Mixed feelings. I thought I was gonna like that Lambo quite a bit based on those leaked images, it looked like they nailed the shape. But with better pictures, things start to fall apart a bit. It's not terrible, but it once again shows the limitations of Technic at this scale. Also, I feel the Huracan is a bit of a weird choice, as the model will get replaced pretty soon and the Lego set will probably outlive the real thing. Maybe they had better gone for that bizarre Sterrato off-road version?
And then the Audi. The leaked pictures had me kinda surprised, as it looked like it were all prints, not stickers. Which obviously would be extremely unlikely, but given the fact that Lego generally isn't afraid to show the ugliness of their stickers, I still had some hope. Well, that's gone. The number of stickers here is beyond absurd. Which should make me hate the thing. Also, it's Control+, which I still think is a terrible system. Also, it's an Audi, one of the most awful brands there is. And the set is overpriced like an Audi. Yet somehow, I do kinda like it! It just looks cool, probably even without all of the stickers. And I hope it drives just as good. It should at least easily outrun the slow 42124....
Cars.
Audi's price would be fair if it would include the smart brick...
Lambo is dissapointing. Could of at least made it black to hide all the gaps.
The Lambo is sad. I, as well as most Technic fans, know the curves could be better. Maybe a little ambitious for the the size.
I’m desperately hoping the Lambo is 1:15 scale to match with the Chevrolet, Mclaren and Bugatti.
Its a budget Technic supercar series!

I once used 42042 to make a cup of tea. Imagine what we'll be able to do with 42146!
Those models are truly Technic; these endless, interchangeable cars whose only distinguishing feature (like IRL cars) is different colours, are not.
We now have the two extremes for the Lamborghini, maybe just need the mid sized and priced model similar to the Ford GT 42154, although does help to fill up the car transporter 42098.
The Audi RS Q e-tron seems to be the latest off-road car update using Control+ following last years 42124, but the most fun is probably still 42099. So relatively good value if you don't already have one of these and want to create your own motorized cars rather than buying the 3 motors and hub individually.
Audi, 914 pieces, 914 stickers.
