Friends Advent Calendar - Day 8

The first week of the calendar included some fun builds, and it's fun to see Paisley and Olly a little earlier in their lives (and Melody, too). I expect the second week of the calendar to provide more things for the Friends to do.
This is a very traditional advent calendar build! A mailbox is always welcome, considering the traditions around exchanging Christmas cards and writing letters to Santa. This mailbox comes to topping of snow, and is situated next to a rather nice streetlamp. It looks like Olly and Paisley have written their letters to Santa and have just mailed them! Here's hoping it gets there in time...

This is pretty fun, useful, holiday build.
Feels weirdly similar to one of the build from the Spider-Man calendar. What a crossover waiting to happen that would be

Our beautiful Heartlake City has been frozen over by the mechanical simulacrum of Frostflipper. As l write this hope is rapidly fading. I know New York is far away, but please come save us. I had to fight 50 Daryls already and I'm not sure if I can even get close because of a powerful little girl named Nova. At this rate I might hae to take drastic action.
Help me Spider-Man. You're our only hope!

Clearly Frostflipper is a henchman of Dreadflipper. The blood-soaked mailbox has his name written all over it.
Given that two comments have mentioned getting mispacked calendars in both the UK and Canada, I find myself wondering if @MeganL and @CapnRex101 have contingency plans in case they get one that’s off.

I actually thought it was the Marvel one for a second, which threw me off because USPS standard across the entire US is a dark blue. Except back in 2007(?) when they decorated a select handful to look like R2-D2.

I've been going through the Advent Countdown articles from past years, and that did happen to @CapnRex101 last year, although the item that day didn't have any unique pieces, so he was able to build one with his own pieces: https://brickset.com/article/102326/star-wars-advent-calendar-day-4
