City Advent Calendar - Day 14

Yesterday we met the fifth minifigure of the calendar. Our scene is getting well populated - that is, if there was a scene! Maybe we'll have something to start building a scene, as well only have ten days left.
It's another microbuild today - a helicopter, which is quite fitting considering the minifig's sweater from yesterday. If this is a microbuild of a current set, I tend to think that this might be 60405. There's yet another remote control, so the commenter who mentioned that this calendar is a battle pack for these pieces might be on to something!
While it's nice to have a build, I'd still really like to see something festive. That seems to be a regular observation in the calendars this year.

Can't make a City calender without police OR helicopters. And apparently shirts don't count. The same was true with the fire engine.
And yes, police. The ambulance helicopter doesn't have any dark blue whilst modern police vehicles do. It would also match the shirt, which had helicopters along with a star.
Have we received anything to actually _celebrate_ christmas with? I am currently building an older calender and I aready have a table, tree, hearth, snowman, furniture and even food for on the table. The star for on top of the tree came with a seperate minifig to actually place it.
You get a gold star if you can guess which one it is. Hint: there's a policeman and crook.
That rotor's pretty undersized, but I cant think of anything to replace it that wouldn't be oversized.

The city calendar continues to underwhelm. I like the themed sweaters and the two pets, but those are the best bits about this particular calendar.
Whatever else I will have no shortage of walkie-talkie's after this year's Advent Calendar.
That small helicopter build is referred to the police helicopter from the prison island set 60419

The crook is stealing the star? Unless the snowman has a Santa hat, it does not explicitly celebrate Christmas any more than a snowboard, snowshoes, skis, or ice skates.
I really miss the City advent calendars of old where we got a bunch of cute food booths & other outdoorsy stuff. But I don't miss the Hockey nets that were a staple item for a few years in those. Not only does the piece count keep going down but the pieces being used are mostly microscale other than the minifigs.
This is poor. Miserly and poor, like a Bob Crachet design.

We have enough walkies now. You can just switch the channel. No need for another each day to make up for your lack of imagination and Lego's cheap-ass budget!
