Spider-Man Advent Calendar - Day 6

Posted by ,

Venom arrived yesterday, eating a hot dog. On that basis, I am wondering whether a hot dog stand could appear today because that would match the scenery from days three and four.

Find out below...

A hot dog stand does indeed appear today, complementing the last few items quite well. There have certainly been more substantial versions in City sets and elsewhere, but this design looks reasonable to me, including a grille and a parasol to shade the cook. Adding a printed 1x1 round tile for the cooker would improve the model further, but I think it works well enough without.

Overall - This hot dog stand is fairly detailed and matches other items from the Advent Calendar.

Is Spider-Ham in this calendar? I haven't seen him, but something sure smells great!

Being a good discordian, I persuaded some co-workers to have hot dogs for lunch today. Now this. There has to be a higher meaning.

How very New York.

At least we now know where Venom got his 'dog from!

Pff, as if a New York hotdog would contain any genuine pig

"For a while, the Venom-symbiote was worn by Mac Gargan, formerly (and better) known as the Scorpion. Gargan was an unimpressive Venom; the most interesting thing he did was pose as Spider-Man for President Norman Osborn's "Dark Avengers". Gargan didn't require much in the way of payment, all he wanted was to be allowed his one small vice: cannibalism.

I don't even know if Spider-Ham would count. He's not a particularly long pig, you know?"

It's complicated. Afaik Wieners aren't made of just one pig. Just don't think about it.

Speaking of inorganic stuff, look, it’s a NYC-style mushroom cloud.
