I’m so curious about how the dresses tested with audiences

By in United States,

The dress stands are a super cool idea! Shame that the prices are eye-watering, but with the eventual discount, some neat parts in there.

By in United States,

The dresses are an odd concept, but the Disney theme is no stranger to those. I do like the Lilo and Stitch house though. We need more Disney sets like that, instead of another 4+ castle.

By in United States,

A Lilo and Stitch set is something I've wanted every since they made that head mold in the first disney series, definetly getting that one!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Audibly gasped with excitement at seeing the LILO & Stitch house!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Like the helmet collection but for Disney Princesses.

Gravatar
By in United States,

The dresses look cool. BUT since they aren't like a typical dress they won't be able to go onto a figure of any kind, so seems silly otherwise. But I like the idea overall. I just don't think it is playable and maybe kids like having "dresses" on display. I don't know.

I never got into Lilo and Stitch, but the house looks cool. I'd consider it, but not at that price. Not enough of a die hard fan to justify it. Gotta save some money in 2025.

By in United Kingdom,

I'm not entirely sure the Cinderella gown looks like a ball gown, compared to Maleficent.

It have been good to have the rags one as well in the same set.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I can see LEGO releasing a Disney Princess Faces parts pack or similar so people can take the dresses and make them into actual built figures like we have for Elphaba/G(a)linda and Wednesday.

Gravatar
By in Spain,

With the dress stands, LEGO is expanding the dust collector series to kids ;D

By in Canada,

I love le Lilo and Stitch house! Does not seem too overpriced, has a fair number of figures, etc. I'll probably get it for my wife at some point.

I don't get the dresses, but I know my daughter would have loved them when she was younger. So there's that.

By in United States,

The Lilo and Stitch house is tempting. Love the movie. It also comes with a pickle jar so we can punish our friends! :D

The dresses... Well, Cruella's is no doubt made of Dalmatians and I'm not sure how I feel about that...

By in United States,

Regarding the 2 dress sets, 30 USD more for 50 more pieces. One more minidoll, yes, but geez. Having a hard time wrapping my head around that pricing logic.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Lilo & Stitch House is a must buy for me. Most likely day 1.

The Dresses will probably have an audience since some Disney Collectors will buy pretty much anything. I may buy them for parts if they end up on clearance.

By in United States,

Very, very happy about the Lilo & Stitch house!

By in United States,

These are amazing! Although I think Cobra's lips look a bit too exaggerated. And oh my goodness, NINETY DOLLARS?!?!? Definitely waiting for a discount.

By in United States,

I love the Lilo & Stitch set, but...
Here's my rant on minifigure head design.
I do prefer consistency vs., say, how Clone Wars heads used to be extremely cartoonish while live action SW minifigs were "normal." But lately all the heads have felt very...boring. Same-ish.
Now this set. You've got standard head, standard head, standard head...and then Cobra Bubbles looking like they copied and pasted him straight from the movie.
Now, will I still be buying this set on day one? Absolutely. But the inconsistency in the minifigs does bother me.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'm not sure about the dresses; it seems a shame they couldn't make them fully buildable characters in the style of the Wednesday or Wicked character designs from last year. Seems like a bit of a wasted effort. I am wondering if there were some legal issues preventing them for making full bodies characters.

The Beach House I am down for tho.

By in United Kingdom,

I thought these got revealed a few weeks ago? Think it was through some retailer or other in Germany maybe? Was wondering at the time why there wasn't an article here yet.
Anyway, regardless. The Cruella dress, considering her whole MO feels quite... Dark.
Also it's a shame the Lilo & Stitch house isn't on stilts like the location in the film, but I imagine that must prove to be a stability nightmare. Look forward to seeing others mod the stilts into it though!

By in United States,

I see Cruella finally got her dalmatian-fur fashion item, but not a as a coat bus a dress instead. RIP to 99 little puppy lives.

(Try and tell me that's not what that is!)

Gravatar
By in Belgium,

The Maleficent/Cruella dresses will play well with my Descendants-obsessed tween who's more apt to display Lego now than to play with it, but oof, that price.

Gravatar
By in United States,

The Lilo and Stitch house looks great, it is a shame Stitch didn't get the double arms.

As always, waiting for the rollback in price.

Gravatar
By in Poland,

Those dreses are just confirmation for me Lego is once again going in wrong direction

Gravatar
By in United States,

Interesting that LEGO has the guts to make a Dalmation-fur dress.

Gravatar
By in Russian Federation,

These dresses are one step away from the anime noodle stoppers.

Gravatar
By in United States,

So…is anyone going to turn Cruella’s dress into a Dalmatian?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I love the Lilo and Stitch house, and have a grandkid that would love to get her hands on it. Just one complaint though.... Shouldn't Mr Bubbles really be a bigfig?

As for the dresses.... why? Maybe its because I'm not the target audience for them, but I fail to see the point of something thats essentially a dress display piece, with no brick built doll to wear them, thats never at any point worn by the character on screen... ?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Wow, Lilo & Stitch will be an absolute must buy. Just one question - where are Jumba and Pleakley??

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I really, really, REALLY like that Lilo and Stitch set, though I don't see myself affording it anytime soon! Maybe I know what I'm going to ask my Dad for when next Christmas rolls around...

I love some of the references I in the back view of the set! The thanksgiving photo from the end credits; Lilo's 'friends being punished'; Lilo's 'me alone' drawing; Nani's Mulan poster... clearly a lot of love went into the design here :D

And I'm suddenly glad I didn't go out of my way to get the Lilo minifigure from 21352; the faces and torsos may be the same, but this one's hairpiece feels like a much better match for the character! ^^

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

On a different note, it seems like a missed opportunity that the Dalmatian accompanying Cruella in the dress set isn't any specific character. We got Patch in 71038-13, would have been a good chance to depict maybe Lucky or Rolly or Penny, instead of a generic puppy design.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I was hoping for more botanical disney sets. Similar to 43237 Isabella's Flower pot. I like the dresses in a similar vein but probably won't buy.

Lilo's house will probably be above my disney budget but maybe ill spring for it if on discount. I am not sure what I would want to cut from it, but I have a hard time spending that much on anything disney. This disney tax is just too much at that point.

It is a very nice house. I can't wait to see what MOD's people make to add a back, like what happened with the UP house. I might even take a stab at it before it gets released, just to see if I can from pictures alone.

I like this change, as stated earlier in your comment all minifig face designs lately have been so homogenized in design that it has become boring. I think Bubbles stands out in a positive way, it shows some character.

I didn't even notice that! Makes me wish even more that I had the space for the set. That would go double if it had a chainsaw for Stitch to find.

It's really funny to me to see Cruella de Ville *still* getting the "fashion merch" treatment. Because, yes, what are we to assume other than the dress is made of skinned dogs? As far as I know, even with that mostly forgotten live-action CRUELLA that tried to turn her into an anti-hero, the whole "skins puppies" thing is still canon!

I actually think the dresses are a neat concept. They're a bit odd at first blush, but the final products are basically decorative keepsake boxes. It's totally the sort of thing that tween girls and Disney-philes would be happy to have on their shelf.

The Lilo and Stitch house is so nice and unexpected it's actually hard to fathom it's real. This is definitely the sort of set I'd like to see more of from the Disney line more regularly.

Bet was waiting for an official release of info. Before was posted here.

I like the dresses. Can they turn like the music box ones. think music box might be wrong word.
Not for me though $70 I think is way too much. considering the other dress is only $40 and close same amount of pieces.

I think you’re right. I have a feeling it was JB Spielwaren. As they’re an authorised LEGO reseller, their disclosure permits coverage by all and sundry - that’s my understanding of the rules.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I guess the Anniversary sets sold well enough theyre doing Disney sets with minifigs instead of minidolls now.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Oh I like that half dome part on the house. That looks cool.

Gravatar
By in Spain,

Que lego haga casa con espalda abierta, vale. Pero que el techo no cubra la planta por completo es catastrófico....

Gravatar
By in Hungary,

Giant headless women on a stick!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Finally, more disney minifigures! :)

Gravatar
By in Turkey,

Cinderella's dress doesn't look like her ballroom gawn. It looks shorter. Maleficent's look great with the wings and all.

Gravatar
By in United States,

COBRA BUBBLES!
Also, a mini version of the Red One. (IYKYK)

Gravatar
By in Ireland,

A lot of parts go into the stands. The actual dresses are quite small.

Gravatar
By in Poland,

Are there new type of pieces? Cruella fur cloth and green glitter pieces? Anyone?
Anyway price is absurd and it will be -20% in legoshop after month

Beach house on the other hand looks amazing even if someone doesn't know movie. That will be bestseller since price is adequate

Gravatar
By in United States,

L&S - amazing set, but at least $10 too expensive. Considering that I just bought the original Encanto house sealed for $12.50 I think I'll hold off.

They’re a little tight, a little drafty, a little scratchy, and prone to causing heart attacks in fathers of teenage girls.

They were so close to making that Lili and Stich house perfect, but the open back...

I believe they were revealed via a legitimate source, but we correctly anticipated that Disney would issue a takedown request for anything related to Lilo & Stitch, so chose not to publish at the time.
