Christmas Build-Up: Day 16

With just over a week to go, expectations for the final eight models of the Christmas Build-Up are high. So, what do we have to make today?

It's this adorable little holiday train. It has the red and green color scheme you'd expect (with some black thrown in), and its scaling definitely makes it seem like it's a toy; same as the sailboat and snowplough from previous days. Completing the model is a 1x1 white stud (not photographed here) to represent the steam. An ice cream scoop piece may have been even more satisfactory - but like the rest of the model, this does what it is meant to do!

Overall - 3.0 - Decent, but not perfect. The snowplough is still the best vehicle to come out of the set so far, in my opinion...

^ Well obviously it's sitting on a siding or resting at the station having a break between trains, or something.

I quite like this one. I assume the second carriage holds two Christmas trees? In which case the train sorely needs a tender, but limited pieces and all. It's not bad.
